Chapter 17: Proving (t)he(i)r Love

"That's a really cool drawing Tina!" Rae compliments her roommate who is sitting with her feet up on the living room couch in a comfy outfit. She is wearing the new Ebiko merch released by Jaime: a pink fluffy hoodie with bunny ears. Her hips are surrounded by a short jeans skirt and her legs are bare until her ankles, which are still showing. Her feet are covered by short white socks with tiny orange carrots depicted on them.

"Thanks!" the cheery girl smiles, lifting up her iPad so Rae can examine her drawing closer.

Thankfully grabbing it Rae continues to admire and praise her work: "Wow! You really got his eyes done perfectly! Must be spending a lot of time staring into them, huh?!" Rae teases her, giggling.

"Whaaat??!?" Tina gets caught off guard by Rae's comment and begins to blush slightly. "No I—umm.. ahhh"

"Oooo I'm just messing with ya!" Rae jokes, sitting down next to her friend on the couch.

"I think you should draw his cock next!" she bluntly suggests.

"HE SAID YESSS!!!" Tina happily announces her joy again while running over to Leslie, taking her hands and excitedly starting to dance with her by jumping on the carpet.

"What did he say yes to???" Leslie is still confused, although she is getting infected by her roommate's cheery attitude and cracking up in nervous laughter.

"He said he will go out on a date with me! We're going to the Christmas market downtown!"

"Huh? Tina?" Leslie laughs as if her roommate had just said something really dumb, but in a funny way. "What is so special about him saying yes? Of course he'll say yes if you ask him to go out?"

"What's going on??" Miyoung enters Tina's room as well, having heard the commotion caused by Tina's celebration.

"Our

agreed to go out with Tina - but I don't know why that's so special?"

"I mean he is awesome" Miyoung shrugs, sharing her opinion in an understanding voice.

"Yes! Time with him is always awesome but like - why is this so exciting? Have you never asked him out before?" Leslie questions.

"no..." Tina shyly responds. "Until now he's always asked me..." she pouts, feeling a little guilty about her passive nature. "I didn't wanna impose..."

"Tina..." both Leslie and Miyoung let out.

BUT NOT THIS TIME!!

I'm gonna plan an entire date for us and then!!..."

"Then?" Miyoung inquires curiously. Leslie raises her eyebrows in anticipation.

"I'M GONNA TELL HIM THAT I LOVE HIM!!!" Tina triumphantly throws her fist up in the air as if she was on stage, making her friends laugh.

"Tina yeeeeeeyyy!!!" Leslie cheers happily.

"That's awesome!" Miyoung joins in her laughter, and the two girls move in to hug their friend.

"What are you gonna wear?"

"And when is the date?" they ask.

"Later today actually! And.. I don't know yet! I have to look for an outfit, do my make up! Oh god, so much to do!"

"Oh Tina don't stress yourself!" Leslie calms her down.

"Yeah! This is supposed to be a happy thing you look forward to! You know how he is, he's gonna be blown away by your beauty regardless!" Miyoung reassures Tina as well.

"Yeah! You're so cute!" Leslie adds on top of her praise and places a smoosh on Tina's cheek.

"Awww! Thanks guys!" Tina appreciates her friends.

Growing a huge smile while thinking of the date with her love she cheerily asks the two women: "Do you guys wanna help me pick out an outfit??" and both Leslie and Miyoung enthusiastically agree.

"AAAAAAHHH!!! YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO LOOK IN THAT DRAWER!!!!" Tina shrieks while rushing over to rip her secrets out of Leslie's hands but cutely stumbles and falls into a large pile of abandoned outfits.

"Oh!! Tina has a naughty side huh? Let's see what else is hiding in there!" Leslie teases and Miyoung giggles, hiding her mouth behind her hands.

Hmmm what do I wear

I mean it's pretty cold to be honest, a hoodie under a jacket might just be the way to go but... I wanna look a little nicer for when I eventually take it off

I'm assuming we're going somewhere inside after the Christmas market?

I wonder what Tina has planned, she usually doesn't take the initiative like that. What changed?

You decide to begin with the simplest part and open up your underwear drawer. You raise your eyebrows upon finding a yellow post-it note in there.

"Stop wearing these!!! It's very annoying! -Love Syd, Emi & Poki"

You grab your phone to text Sydney: "Did you guys throw out my underwear?"

Within seconds you get a reply "Yeah! It's always so annoying when we wanna take your cock out! It's just in the way anyways! Leave it off!"

"Sydney it's freezing outside!"

You put your phone away.

Don't wanna get too distracted - Tina overcame her insecurities by asking me out - shouldn't take that lightly and get involved with another girl... or girls.. right beforehand.

Alright, no underwear I guess.. Luckily these new black pants are very warm and comfy.

You decide to pair the faintly checkered black pants with a simple button-up white shirt. If you took your coat off people from far away could get the impression that you were wearing a suit and just lost your black jacket - a look that will certainly get you into a fancy restaurant should the need arise. You don't know what Tina has planned after all, she made it a point to do all the planning herself.

Even though the weather forecast would suggest it you opt not to wear a scarf or gloves. You've always been somewhat resistant to the cold and you wanna look as nice as possible for Tina - not like a comfy burrito.

Although... that would be Tina's style!

You joke to yourself.

As you step into the outside air, you let out a laugh.

Well. Good that I didn't go all out on the winter clothing! - Somebody needs to fire whoever is in charge of the weather forecast.

Tina didn't want to be picked up, so you drove straight to the Christmas market. Finding a parking spot was surprisingly easy, and now you are just waiting for the adorable girl to arrive. The air feels nice and crisp as it brushes against your skin. You take a deep breath and close your eyes for a moment, simply relaxing and looking forward to spending this day here together with Tina.

"Heyyy!!!!" you hear a familiar voice behind you and immediately form a smile on your lips that only gets brighter when seeing her outfit.

Her beautiful brown hair is framing her cutely blushing face perfectly - and it almost looks like she got a hair appointment just for the occasion.

Surrounding her throat and resting on top of her thick brown jacket is a grey wool scarf that appears to be hand-knitted. However, it hangs around her neck very loosely and doesn't quite embrace her collar as it should when intended to protect against the cold. Perhaps that is due to the weather being warmer than expected, or it could be out of a desire to showcase her most vulnerable body part as a sign of affection to you. One might never know.

It is allowing for such a beautiful view of her smooth neck and a little bit of cleavage that you simply can't help yourself but to immediately move in and kiss her, surprising the slightly nervous girl and making her giggle when you move down to her neck and place a hickey on her right side.

"Heeyyy!!" she laughs across your shoulder as you suck on her skin.

"Hey! Nice to see you!" you rise from her neck and place another quick kiss on her lips, making her smile and blush even more than before.

"You look incredible Tina! Truly stunning!" you throw your arms out from your side really putting all your attention on her outfit.

"Thanks!!!" she cutely celebrates by lifting her white, semi-transparent mini skirt and making a pirouette like a ballerina.

Wearing just a skirt would be way too cold however, so that is most likely just added as an accessory - her short legs are covered by black leggings which is a surprisingly sexy choice for the normally rather shy girl - especially out in public. The stretchy fabric hugs her skin and leaves very little to the imagination - in stark contrast to her top. You aren't complaining one bit though.

Black winter boots that reach up about one hand's width above her ankles complete her winter wonderland outfit - and you couldn't have imagined a better fit for your precious girl.

"So" you begin while positioning yourself beside her and angling your arm so that she may hook into you, which she happily does, revealing her cute orange mittens as she pulls her hands out of her pockets and adorably rests her face against your muscular arm. Your chest warms up seeing her like that and feeling her snuggle up so closely against you.

"Tina if you continue being all cute like that I might not need my jacket anymore" you joke, making her giggle happily.

"Anyway, what do you have planned?" you ask.

"Let's just hang out a bit! Walk around the market! Play some games, drink some punch! It'll be fun!"

"I look forward to spending some time with you, I always love when we hang out together!" you earnestly say, making the smaller girl look up and happily smile at you.

"Oh look! Gingerbread hearts! Let's see if we can find some with our names on them!!" Tina excitedly jumps up and down and suddenly starts to drag you forward.

Woah! I didn't expect that much energy! Haha. Well I'll do my best to match it!

"Okay... we have you already here..." Tina carefully says while scanning the hearts for your respective names. She leans forward and grabs one with your name on it, giggling at the size. "Oh my god! Look how huge that one is!" "They must have known that you're ginormous" she playfully winks at you while nudging your side.

"Tina!" you let out surprised at the tiny girl's teasing. "Since when are you such a tease?" you whisper while leaning down with a naughty grin.

"I have my moments" she girlishly replies while shrugging, then she hangs the heart over your neck and begins looking for her name.

"there!" you point to some smaller hearts hanging from the roof above her.

"Those are very small though, you need one as big as mine" you joke.

"Duuudee!!!" "If I put one your size on me I'll have to bend over while walking to counter the weight!"

"I wouldn't mind that" you tease her back.

"Duuuuudeee!" she giggles. "Hand me the heart so we can buy it!"

"I have a better idea" you reply, and quickly lift Tina up like a three-year-old so that she can reach the hearts. Tina lets out a surprised gasp before laughing, and the man behind the stand who until now was focused on his oven also lets out a chuckle seeing you two lovebirds.

You exchange a few words with him and then pay for the hearts, when you are out of earshot Tina lets out shocked: "Damn! Those were expensive!"

"Yeah I mean it's a Christmas market, you usually get scammed at these things!" you jest and let out a small laugh.

"I guess so" Tina answers, her voice sounding a little like that took the wind out of her sails.

You grab her arm, stop and turn her to face you. With a smile you explain: "Don't worry about it Tina, I don't think thirty-five dollars are gonna bankrupt me"

"Yeah I know" she replies. "By the way, do you work? Like, do you do anything to earn more money?" she curiously asks.

I didn't expect that line of questioning here, that was quite the turn of events

Wanting to keep it lighthearted you joke: "Well, being a full-time boyfriend does take up most of my time honestly", Tina giggles at your response and hooks herself back into your arm as you stroll through the snowy market.

"I do handle my own investments from time to time and check in on the stock market, most of my income comes from that at the moment, but I think I'll probably hire someone to really optimize it in the future. I've been thinking about doing something more, but thankfully I am lucky enough not to need the cash that desperately and I'd honestly rather spend my time with you girls" you continue with genuine warmth in your voice.

"Awwww, I'm glad!" Tina smiles up at you and gets on her toes wanting to kiss you, you lean down to meet her lips and your arms fully envelop each other in a tight hug.

"Anyway, how did you get to that topic? That was kinda surprising" you say after parting you lips with hers.

"I don't know, I just randomly thought of it. With all the gifts and stuff you keep buying for all of us, expensive dates in restaurants et cetera, I don't want you to think any of us are just with you for the money"

You let out a laugh. "Tina you're not exactly poor yourself! None of you are, I would never think that" you offer her a calming smile. "I love you all for who you are, and I know you feel the same way about me"

But no I think that was just a turn of phrase...

"Tina? You okay? You've been kinda starting at me" you chuckle.

"Oh, yeah sorry, just lost in your eyes"

"Awwww! Tina!" you smile and kiss her lovingly.

She looks up at you with her big brown eyes and an adorable smile. You can't imagine a single bad thought ever entering her cute little head.

"Look! Over there is a can-shooting booth where you can win some prizes! I think it's with one of those rubber band guns! You wanna go check it out?" you excitedly suggest and Tina happily nods.

"Oh my god look at that white bunny with the carrot!" you point out.

"It's huuugeee!!"

"Yeah! And it fits you perfectly!"

Tina, knowing what kind of panties she is wearing, blushes hearing you say that and looks slightly embarrassed to the ground, yet you are too focused on buying some attempts to notice her reddish face.

"Here you go" you hand Tina a light-wooden rubber band pistol with five small red balls used as projectiles.

"We have to shoot down twenty-five of those cans to get the bunny, for some reason you can only buy five bullets at a time tho"

"Alright, sounds fun!" she cheers seeing your determination and lines up her first shot.

*ping*

"Wow! Nice shot young lady!" the booth owner compliments after Tina knocks down one of the cans immediately - you two celebrate by high fiving.

"Niiice! Well done! Alright, let's see if I can do the same!"

"I believe in you!" Tina cheers and jumps up to give you a quick peck on the cheek.

You look over at her. "For good luck" she smiles, and you smile back.

*clink*

"Awww, dammit"

"Don't worry! We're gonna get it!" Tina remains undiscouraged and takes another shot.

*ping*

"Damn! You're a natural Tina!" you laugh, lift her up and make a spin in celebration. She giggles being spun around in the air and is kind of turned on by how easily you can lift her.

"Okay now, I can't embarrass myself like this" you exaggerate your preparation by making some silly poses, cracking Tina up so much that she can barely stand up straight while watching you fool around.

Getting a funny idea you quickly grab some snow and make a snowball with one hand. In quick succession you throw the snow at the laughing girl's face and also take a shot at the top left can.

*blomp* *ping!*

"YES!" you make a victory pose. "That's double points!"

"Heyyy!!!" Tina spits out some snow, rushes you and jumps up. You catch her with one arm and hold her to your side as she playfully rubs some snow in your face.

*phheeew*

You spit it out with closed eyes and stick out your tongue to taste some of it. You must look quite funny since Tina is still laughing.

Soon her happy voice is silenced though and you feel her warm lips on yours, with your eyes still closed her sweet kiss transports you into a beautiful spring evening on a green grassy hill with plenty of pink cherry blossoms raining down on you two while you make out.

You both just look at each other for a bit after she cleared out the snow from your eyes, then you let her down and the two of you spend more time than you should on getting that bunny. When Tina is about ready to give up you refuse to leave because you really want it for her, since you can tell she would really love to snuggle it. She shoves you aside to pay for some of the ammunition as well since she doesn't want you to spend so much money on her, which is kind of cute.

*PING!*

"Congratulations!" the store clerk says while throwing his hands up in the air.

"YEEEEEEYYYY!!!!!" Tina cheers and happily jumps up and down on the spot. You laugh at her joyful display and let out a relived laugh as well.
