Right now the government is planning something. They'll probably start in Europe and roll it out to the other countries over the upcoming year. Right now they are combing through demographic records and selecting a specific group of people to target: 30-45 year old married white women.
They will bring them into their training centre, while a very strict government administrator (also female) will explain that part of their duty as citizens is to assist the state. That their family, for whatever reason, has been chosen to be part of this program. The administrator will take down some vital information. Height, weight, drink and drug use, STD status, use of birth control, family status. The administrator will gather these women in a classroom and go over the program.
The program is simple. These women, many of whom work only part time or from home, will be enlisted on behalf of the government to help migrants assimilate into the culture of the country. The administrator reviews the program. It will start with customs, holidays, landmarks, food. There is a large block for dialogue between these women and the migrants. The administrator says the classes will be small, just 4-5 migrants for each woman to work with. She promises a sizable amount of money for each migrant that completes the program. The financial situation of the women selected isn't good and this money sounds promising. There's a long agreement contract. Most of the women read the first few pages and skip to the signing box. None of them read the entire document.
One of the women is Marta. She's 35, a fit and trim woman with medium length blonde hair and blue eyes. She likes yoga, chocolates and cats and works part time in a school. She is originally from a small village. Her husband is a little older and works in a factory. They have money troubles. This job sounds like a good thing. The state is promising good pay for what amounts to 5-6 hours a week in the early evening. The classrooms are informal, just some chairs and a table with a video screen on the wall. Not much more is needed, according to the administrator.
Marta begins the program on Monday covering various cultural aspects of where she lives. Her class has 3 migrants in it. Their grasp of the language isn't good but they seem eager to learn. The administrator is monitoring her classroom about half the time, guiding her back to the curriculum if the session gets off track. The following days go well, covering other mundane topics new arrivals might need to know. The tram schedule and routes, how taxes are charged. How to get government assistance for various things. The administrator reminds her that Friday, and the following week, is about dialogue for various social situations.
When Marta comes to the classroom Friday, she's looking forward to helping the migrants assimilate better into society. The administrator is monitoring the class as part of Marta's evaluation. There's an extra migrant sitting in the classroom. The administrator explains that another instructor was worn out, that her classroom had over a dozen students and she couldn't handle that many at once. Marta nods. The administrator reminds her about the bonus per graduating student. It's only six days. Marta is sure she can deal with one more.
Today's lesson deals with social situations. They start with greetings and pleasantries. Then one of the migrants -- the new student -- asks about dating. Marta's a bit nonplussed but she goes with it. The administrator suggests using the table as a prop for a restaurant or bar. Marta sits down with a student on each side of her. The new student is across the table; his grasp of the language is much better than the other migrants. A couple of times he speaks to them in a language she doesn't understand and they snicker. She realizes that the migrants have moved right next to her. They begin stroking her thighs.
Marta looks over at the administrator, who looks as if this is all totally normal. She's not reacting at all. The migrants grow more aggressive. Their hands are moving higher and Marta feels her skirt moving up. The migrant across the table keeps trying to distract her. She doesn't know what the other migrant is doing but it feels like he is smelling her hair. Suddenly she feels a couple of long fingers stroking her panties. Marta is in shock. She can't move. The migrant behind her reaches around and begins squeezing her breasts. He's whispering into her ear but she has no idea what he is saying. Finally when one of the migrants slides his finger inside of her, it breaks the spell. Marta jumps up and practically runs over to the administrator and begs to speak with her.
Did you read the contract, the administrator asks? You are to familiarize the migrants with social situations in the country. These migrants need to know how to find which women have low moral standards in order to have sex with them. By having sex with them, the migrants will feel welcomed and be more likely to assimilate into our society. How is this hard for you to understand, the administrator says. Marta protests again. She's married. She doesn't know these men. This is wrong.
Exasperated, the administrator pulls out the contract and flips to one of the pages in the back. It talks about if the administrator suspects an instructor of being racist. There is a long list of penalties. An increased tax rate. Referrals to employers. Her name published in the local news. To be labeled this way would be crushing. Marta is shocked. She is not a racist. The administrator is unmoved. She points to Marta's signature. She had the opportunity to read the document. The state will grant no exemptions. The administrator reminds her of the penalties and motions her back towards her students. Marta feels a sinking sensation in her stomach. She cannot believe this is happening. She starts to sniffle.
