Chapter 71- Our last night in Wellington.
"Da." I replied as we approached Vicky's street and parked in her garage.
Vicky drove her Mini into the garage, parked it and turned it off.
We got out and Vicky locked it up.
"Hmm, apel'sin" I said.
"Yes Orange although given it's size more like a Mandarin." Vicky quipped given that I had just called her car an Orange.
"I am a tad concerned." I said.
"About?" Vicky asked.
"Normally when we are apart I find a couple of hundred text messages from my Yana. But tonight there has only been one." I confided in Vicky.
"Well maybe she has been busy, or she has just matured. I wouldn't worry. Maybe her and the other Yana are up to something. Who knows." Vicky replied.
"Maybe you're right." I grudgingly accepted and put my phone away.
"Come on lets go inside." Vicky said.
I followed her inside and the house was in total darkness.
"Unusual, Yana is usually downstairs in her room. In fact I wish she would be more habitable with me. Sometimes." Vicky admitted
"Yana you here?" Vicky called out.
No answer from either Yana.
"Yan? Yana? You here?" I called out.
No answer.
"Yana i ya doma. YA i tvoy muzh oba doma." ( Both Yana's I am home. Me and your husband are both home.) Vicky called out again.
I followed Vicky upstairs the second floor was in darkness as well.
Vicky walked across the lounge and turned the light on. When the lounge was illuminated it appeared that the house was empty.
"What your reckon Vicky, Kidnapped or Aliens." I cheekily asked.
"Who knows but both cars are here, And my Yana can't drive. So where the hell are they?" Vicky asked.
Vicky and walked around the house to no avail.
"Nothing, no sign of them." I said.
"Yes." Vicky said.
Vicky and I were thinking alike as we both went for our cell phones to ring our respective Yanas.
I was sitting on my aunt's couch and I rang.
Vicky was standing in the kitchen ringing her Yana. We could hear Yana No 2's phone ringing. So obviously her phone was here.
My Yana's rang out. So I hung up and tried again.
On the second phone call just as I was about to hang up. When Yana answered it.
"Hello Yana, thank god you've answered. Are you okay? And where are you?" I anxiously asked my Yana.
"Oh hubby duu, yes I am all right I am just coming the front door with the other Yana. We will see you soon." Yana said and then Vicky and I could hear the front door open and the other Yana ( The Eurasian one) call out. I hung up and stood up just as the two Yana's came up the stairs.
The two Yana's came into the lounge much to Vicky and my self's relief.
"Oh you two are back." Vicky said.
"Da we are back everything all right?" Yana No 2 asked.
My Yana on the other hand just ran across the lounge and into my arms.
Yana kissed me and rubbed me all over.
"O, ya tak rada tebya videt', moya lyubov'. Kak proshel tvoy kurs?" ( Oh I am so very pleased to see you my love. How was your course?) My Yana said as she smothered me in kisses.
"We were worried about you?" Vicky growled. We come home and the house wasn't locked up and you two were nowhere to be found." Vicky growled.
"Sorry, for the both of us Aunty." Yana apologised.
"Accepted, but where did you get to, or did you do 'saucy things'?" Vicky asked.
"Nyet, we have spent the evening while you and Jason were out. Watching you tube together and then us two Yanas went for a walk and stargazed and we lost track of time." Little Yana explained.
"Oh did you watch anything interesting? I asked.
"Da. We did. I have developed a liking for some new music styles. I liked watching and listening to Iron Maiden, Deep Purple and the Rolling Stones." My Yana announced.
"Yes the other Yana has expanded her music base. Plus she showed me wedding album." Little Yana explained.
"Da. I showed my namesake here. My 'Ladies secret wedding book' and she liked it." My Yana said. And then sat down next to me.
"I showed her and I think she is a little jealous." My Yana whispered in my ear as she kissed me.
"So what are plans for tomorrow?" Vicky interrupted probably anxious that any further talk of wedding would provoke a hours long lecture from Yana.
"Oh well I have to ask you something Aunty." Yana said.
"What's that petal?" Vicky replied.
"The campervan company rang and they have it ready for pickup around lunchtime, but we still have it for free. So can we borrow one of the cars one more time?" Yana explained.
"Of course. So you pick it up tomorrow?" Vicky replied.
"Da. Tomorrow we are going on the bus to town and just fill in gaps. Then we pick it up. And we have five days to get it back so we are due back in Auckland on Sunday morning. Instead of Saturday.
"So anywhere you want to go or do, in the meantime?" Vicky asked.
"Hmm, I don't know." Yana said with a broad grin.
"Do tell us if we can help you, we will. Yana No 2 replied.
"Hmm, Russkiy?" Yana asked.
"Da." Vicky replied.
