Part One: Zack
Halloween was Friday. I politely declined a couple of invitations to various parties. After my last experience I wasn't exactly ready to hit up any raging keggers. Besides, I had better things to do with my Saturday than nurse a hangover. Eddie (formally Waffle House Boy) and I had been exchanging text messages throughout the day on Friday. He was flirty and funny. I wanted to pinch myself. He was so damn sexy, and he definitely seemed like he was into me.
He gave me directions to his house which was apparently way the hell out in the woods someplace. And on early Saturday afternoon, I found myself driving down a long gravel driveway leading up to a large two story house. I got out of my car and looked around. It was a beautiful lodge style home with lots of stone work and exposed timbers. I had to figure that Billy's family must be doing okay. It was perfectly situated, as it was completely surrounded by acres of wooded wilderness. You would think that after what happened the last time I was in the woods, I'd be nervous, but the only thing I was really thinking about was getting to spend some time with a good looking guy.
I don't exactly have a long history of dating. I was out in high school and there were other guys who were out. But I was never really into any of them. I tended to go for guys who were athletic, especially the football player type. Unfortunately, It seemed anytime I was interested in someone, they were straight, or closeted, or just not into me. I had hoped that college we change all that. And here I was, about to spend an afternoon with a good looking guy who actually seemed interested in me!
I knocked on the door, and heard movement inside. The door opened, and I was greeted by a good looking guy. Just not the one I was expecting. "Hello," said this unexpected, good looking guy who was definitely not Eddie.
"Hi, I'm Zack,"I said lamely. "I'm here to see Eddie."
"I'm his brother, Billy. Come in." He was taller than Eddie, and looked slightly younger. While he was not quite as beefy as his older brother, he still had a nice body. He was wearing a tank top and athletic shorts, like he had been working out. If Eddie had more of a football player build, his brother looked like a basketball player: tall, muscular but wiry. He had those same sexy dark eyes, but where Eddie's seemed mischievous, Billy's seemed kind. He held the door for me and I walked inside. He took my coat, and hung it up from a coat hook. "It's nice to meet you."
"Thank you. Is Eddie around?"
"He had to run a quick errand, but he should be back in a few minutes. He asked me to entertain you. Come on in, have a seat."
Billy ushered me through the door and into the house. It was just as nice on the inside as it was on the outside. For a house with three guys living in it, it was clean and well decorated. There was something in the air, a scent that I couldn't quite place. It wasn't a bad smell, just different. We walked into the living area. He gestured to a long, L-shaped sectional sofa in front of a large stone fireplace with a TV on the mantle. I sat down at one end and surprisingly, Billy sat right in the corner. He smiled, and it lit up the room. It was infectious.
"So tell me about yourself, Zack."
"Um, well, I'm a student at the university. I'm from outside of Chicago. I'm a dancer."
"That's awesome. I love dancing, even thought I don't go out much. I do a lot of yoga, though."
" Nice. I love yoga!" I couldn't help but smile at this guy. He had a really cool energy. I wondered how old he was. He looked like he was my age. "Are you a student?"
"Not at the moment, I took a year off after graduation, which turned into a second year off. Not sure what I'm doing next, to be honest."
"I know that feeling. I have no idea what comes after college."
Billy reached over and put his hand on my leg. "Don't stress. Plenty of time to figure things out." Then he laughed.
Damn. Sexy must run in the family. Was he flirting? Eddie didn't mention that his brother was gay. He did know I was here for his brother, right? Better get the conversation focused on the brother I was here to see.
"So, do you and your brother get along?"
"We do, actually. I mean, we have the the occasional fight, mostly because he loves to tease me. We are pretty close. And honestly, we share just about everything."
"That's awesome. I'm an only child, so no siblings for me." I paused. "So what did your brother tell you about me?"
"Well...he may have mentioned that you were very sexy."
"Wow. That's good to know."
"Honestly, I think he undersold you. Those freckles of yours are killing me."
Hoo boy. At that point, I noticed that Billy had moved closer to me, and was looking at me in a decidedly non-platonic way. "And what do you think about my brother?"
Is this a loaded question? "Well, we are just sort of getting to know each other."
"So you don't think he's sexy?"
"No, I didn't say that..."
"So you do?"
"I mean-yeah! He is." I'm starting to get really nervous because I can't seem to get a bead on where the conversation is going. I was being completely thrown off balance.
"Good," Billy nodded. "Attraction is very important."
The way he is looking at me had a giant red alert klaxon going off in my brain. Thankfully, I was about to be rescued. I heard a familiar voice say, "Quit teasing him, Billy."
Eddie walked into the living room, and I breathed a sigh of relief. "Hey there, Zack. I'm glad you're here." Before I knew what was happening, Eddie had pulled e up off the sofa, wrapped his arms around me, and was giving me a big hug. It felt good.
"Thanks for inviting me."
"Here, let's sit down." Billy had scooted back to the corner of the sofa. Eddie dropped into the space where I was sitting, leaving the middle for me. I could think of worse places to sit than in-between two sexy guys. As I sat down I noticed that Eddie and Billy had spread their arms across the back of the couch. Was there some sort of sibling rivalry going on here? The vibe was still a little weird, so I asked Eddie what he wanted to do today.
He was looking at me with a sort of intense look. The conversation was light, but there was an undercurrent that I couldn't place. "Would you like to watch a movie? I was thinking that we can grab dinner someplace later on."
"That sounds good."
Billy suddenly jumped up. "I'll get us some drinks. What would you like?"
I asked for a water, and Eddie asked for a soda. Billy left, and I took the opportunity to have a moment alone with Eddie. "Your brother is nice."
"Yeah. He's great. I'm glad you like him."
"Is he hanging with us all afternoon?"
"Is that okay?"
"Sure. Just wasn't sure if this was a date sort of thing, or a hang out sort of thing. We hadn't really put a label on it."
Eddie reached over and pulled me closer to him. "Date's fine with me." He ran his fingers across the top of my hand and felt a sharp tingle. I had felt that same energy on Thursday when our fingers had touched. I started to say something, but then Billy returned with a tray of drinks. As he handed my drink to me, my fingers brushed his and I felt it again. But this time, I noticed that Billy made a face, his eyes closing a fraction. It was almost a look of pleasure. "Ok, I have to ask. Did you just feel something?"
Billy smiled. "Yes, did you?"
"Yes! What is that?"
Billy set the tray down and took one of my hands in his. He began to use his thumb to massage the palm of my hand, applying a gentle pressure. The moment our skin touched, I felt a powerful energy. It was unlike anything I had experienced before. I noticed his breathing had gotten deeper. "What do you feel?" He asked.
It took me a moment to answer. I was lost in the pleasure of his touch. Finally I said, "I don't know. It's like electricity, but also not?" I was staring to worry that Eddie was going to get mad at his brother but Eddie didn't seem concerned at all. He took one of his hands and began to rub it up and down my neck and jaw line.
