The early fall night had a slight chill in the air but not enough to warrant more than long pants and a hoodie. For the most part, the street was empty with the exception of a handful of folks moving from one shop to the next. Dustin stood on the sidewalk shifting nervously from foot to foot as he looked up and down the street. The city bus had dropped him off almost fifteen minutes ago and since then he had stood in front of the large building debating on if he should go inside or not. His heart was pounding a mile a minute as he constantly adjusted his grip on his shoulder bag. The longer he stood out in the open the heavier the bag felt, the content seeming to increase in weight every passing minute.
The building was pretty bland compared to the other ones around it. No fancy banners or window displays, no flyers detailing some end of the summer blow out sale. The only marking on the dark bricks was a small neon sign that flashed noisily. The sign simply read: 'Open' it hung to the side of a simple door and that was more daunting than if there was a big sign advertising exactly what was hidden inside the building. Just as Dustin was about to turn and walk back to the bus stop, his nerves failing him which wasn't completely uncommon, the sound of the door opening caught his attention.
Standing in the doorway was a tall, thin man. A black leather vest hung off his narrow shoulders, his chest was completely bare underneath it. A pair of blue jeans hung off his hips held in place by a thick leather belt with a large brass belt buckle in the shape of a canine paw print. A trail of dark hair ran from behind the buckle up over his flat stomach and connected to a decent sized patch of hair on the guy's chest. His head was shaved bald though if it was natural or done on purpose Dustin couldn't tell. From his right ear hung a thick piercing, the weight of which pulled down noticeable on the earlobe.
"You gonna stand around on the corner like a lost pup all night or are ya coming in?" He said.
The words weren't overly unkind, but the roughness of his voice made them sound meaner than they truly were. Shifting his eyes to each side of the door Dustin found it interesting that there weren't any windows the guy could have been watching him through. He decided that there must be some hidden camera facing the door and sidewalk. If that was true Dustin also wondered exactly how long the guy had been watching him before deciding to come out.
"Uh..." he said inwardly flinching at the unoriginal response.
The guy smirked seeming to know exactly what was going through Dustin's mind.
"Why don't ya come on in kid, you are 18 ain't ya?"
Dustin nodded, he was actually 21 but he knew that he looked a bit younger. The guy nodded and beckoned him forward. Hesitating for a moment longer Dustin readjusted his grip on his shoulder bag once more before sending the small set of steps that lead up to the door. The tall guy stepped to the side allowing Dustin to enter the building first. When the door closed shutting out the fresh air of the night Dustin instantly felt like there was no turning back.
A slight pressure on his lower back told him the guy wanted him to move forward. Realizing just how narrow the area behind the door was Dustin instantly took several steps forward until he was standing inside a much larger room. It was well lit but the light was easily muted by the dark furniture and coloring of the walls and floor. Everything was some shade of black, dark brown or red. A counter stood to one side while the other was decorated with multiple framed pictures. Each picture showed a man or multiple men. Some were large and beefy while others were skinny and every variation between. Hairy and smooth alike and each one was wearing outfits either similar to the thin guy or much more complex.
Many of them wore leather harnesses, caps, collars and several different variations of masks. Some were on their knees with leashes leading to another man's hand while some were facing the camera with their backs arched and their scantily clad rear ends aimed directly at the camera. The sound of the thin man clearing his throat broke Dustin from his admiration of the pictures. Turning around he saw the guy was still standing very close by him.
"So... what brings you all the way down here at this time of night?" The guy says low a seductive rumble to his words. "Standing around on the sidewalk like that, someone might think you're up to no good."
Dustin felt his face flush slightly as his heart rate picked up.
