So I guess I should start off with a little background information. My name is Jack Perry and I've been married to my wife Mary for 17 years. We are a fit and attractive white couple. I just turned 40 a few weeks ago and Mary is 37.
"Don't forget, honey, Doctor Karambe's office called and said you have your first prostate exam before work today," Mary said as I was getting ready to leave for work.
"I know, how could I forget. I've already got it in my phone so I don't forget," I replied with a nervous look on my face.
"Don't worry, honey, you'll be fine," she said with a smirk on her face. I've been dreading having to get this exam ever since Doctor Karambe's office called a few weeks ago, and Mary loves to tease me about it.
I finished putting on my tie and kissed Mary goodbye as I walked out the door with my suit jacket over my shoulder. I got in my car and started my GPS to Doctor Karambe's office. I have never been to Doctor Karambe's office. My primary care doctor I've had for several years retired about 3 months ago and he recommended I go see Doctor Karambe.
I made it to Doctor Karambe's office and spoke to the receptionist. She was a nice lady, about 30, black, and with some kind of African accent I think. She handed me a couple forms to fill out since it was my first visit and I handed them back to her once I was done.
"You may take a seat, Mr. Perry, a nurse will take you back shortly," the receptionist said.
I sat down and picked up a magazine and began mindlessly thumbing through the pages. All I could think about was how nervous I was for my first prostate exam.
"Mr. Perry?" A nurse called out from an open door near the receptionist's desk.
"That's me," I replied as I stood up and began walking her way.
"I'm Nurse Jackie and I'm going to be taking your vitals today," she said as we walked to an exam room. Like the receptionist, Nurse Jackie had a faint African accent. She was a beautiful dark skin black woman with high cheek bones and a very nice body. I couldn't help but notice how white her teeth were compared to her skin.
Nurse Jackie finished taking my vitals and laid a open back gown on the exam table. "Take off your clothes and change into this," she said, "the doctor will be right in."
I did as I was told and changed out of my suit and into the gown. I couldn't seem to get it tied behind my back properly so I just sat back down on the exam table. After what felt like an eternity, there was a knock on the door.
"Come in," I said, and the door opened.
A tall black man entered the room. He had a muscular frame and handsome features.
"I'm Doctor Karambe," he said. "You must be Mr. Perry?" Like the other employee's, Doctor Karambe had an African accent, but spoke very clear English.
"Yes, but you can call me Jack," I replied.
"Okay, Jack. I understand you're here for a general checkup and a prostate exam. Why don't we get started?" He said.
