No juicy smut in this chapter. Sorry! Just actual Plot!)
When Ryan got back to his hotel, to his credit, he didn't automatically throw himself into his latest fantasy with Indo. The story Isobell told him captured his interests more. Lost valuables, a lost ship that went down, potential thieves... it was a case straight from the books. The Atlantic Ocean was big though and Mother's scuba divers only did so much. He'd have to book another date with Isobell to get the full story.
But the break-ins. He could do that tonight. Ryan stripped on his way to the hotel bed and threw himself down. He knew some of the story and his family would be happy to know he's getting closer to her. But he couldn't even think about his trist. He may hate all the bullshit associated with a company this size but he deeply cared for the artifacts they uncover. It was like a piece of history finally had its place again. It was the money everyone else cared about.
Ryan opened his own laptop, closing a porn site and pulling up his website. Unfortunately, he wouldn't be able to even get close to HALF the records, being so far down the chain of command, but if Mother herself knew... they could get answers. 'In order to get to Mother, I'd have to get through to David.' his eldest brother. The one that was a bit nicer to him. He may be the record keeping guy. Ryan closed his laptop and proceeded to call him, ignoring the fact it was almost dinner time for them.

Indo was in the middle of calculating the numbers they earned with the Gala when Isobell threw open the door. He could already feel a headache coming on. As he reached for his tea, he discreetly slid the stack of papers over Ryan's nail marks from earlier.
Isobell's face held determination as she marched over to his desk, holding a file. "I want you to know, I already told my presentation about this to Auntie. She has her yes but as you know, she always says you have the final say." Her red hair was braided and held in a tight bun. She looked an awful lot like his little sister. Maybe that's why they always butted heads.
Indo took a calculated sip of tea and stared over the mug to her. "Yet she couldn't bring this to me herself?"
She glared, "It was my idea after all." She plopped the file in front of his face. "I also told Ryan about this as well."
Shit. Careful, not to roll his eyes, he sat his mug down over the right nail marks Ryan's other hand left. "Let's hear it." He leaned back against his chair, his face remaining strictly business now. That was the rule. Anytime a member of the family stepped into his office, they weren't family. They were runners of the Topaz name. After hours however, like weekends, (galas excluded), they had their loving family time.
Isobell was nervous. Her mouth scrunched and she couldn't reach his eyes. "I think we can help each other out." She began. "Ryan," she smiled, "Was showing me his photo collection from the pieces he's successfully recovered. And I told him about the story of the ship that went down."
Indo's eye twitched.
Isobel saw, and straightened her back, this time holding contact and speaking louder. "They can help our ranking. They can take us out of third. Look, it's all laid out." She flipped the file open. "We're all about giving back to the lesser communities right? That's what makes us special from those bloodhounds. We actually care about the safety of people and agree money shouldn't be an issue-"
