Body Count by Onia Fox
Jessica walked into the lobby bar of All Seasons business hotel on the edge of town. She immediately picked out the smiling face of her wife, Tess, sat with an office colleague.
They stood as Jessica approached; arm extended to shake hands.
'Jess?' 'Gary?'
They spoke over each other and then both gave a nervous giggle. Tess leant in for a kiss before all three sat, Tess still holding Jessica's hand.
'Jessica, I have been telling Gary all about our idea. Gary is happy to be part of it, and today is his last day here, before returning to head office tomorrow morning.'
Jessica turned a deep scarlet, using her free hand to tug down the short stretchy-ribbed T-dress, before tugging up the top as she exposed more breast than she intended.
'Umm. Thank you, Gary.' The three giggled again.
'So, champagne, Jess? I am afraid we are a couple of glasses ahead of you.'
'Has Tess filled you in on the game? And the reasoning? It isn't totally random.'
'Tess explained you are both only into girls. And only into each other now, obviously, now that you are married.'
Jessica raised an eyebrow at Tess, who gestured for Jessica to continue with an explanation.
'Three years ago, just before we got married, we had
the talk
. The
body count talk
.' Jessica blushed again as she spoke. 'And we were similar. Compatible. Pro rata. As in, I am ten years older than Tess and had a couple more notches on the bedpost. But similar. Neither awkwardly low nor excessively high.'
Tess cleared her throat. 'Don't forget, Gary is a colleague of mine, love. Stay on track.'
'Anyway. We had both only ever had girls and women in our love lives.' Gary nodded as Jessica spoke, glancing occasionally at Tess. 'But then I told Tess that I had given a flatmate, a guy. He was a good friend, a nice guy, really sweet.'
'Gave him what, Jess?'
'Like you know, a blowjob. Like only once, and he never actually touched me back. Well, except for you know
wha
t, touching me you know
where
, and all that.'
'And she swallowed.'
'Yeah, alright Tess! Now look who's oversharing!'
'I think that's relevant. Before you both disappear upstairs.'
'Tess became obsessed with it...'
'I did not! I was intrigued, that's all; curious.'
'And kept getting me to talk about it. You know, in bed. Then, about a year ago, she asked me to think about going with a guy. You know, all the way and everything.'
'Even though you are both only into girls.'
'Yes, and I totally understand if you aren't up for it, Gary.'
'Not at all. Goodness, I am totally up for it. Tess said you are attractive and, goodness me,... well I just mean sure, I would love to.'
'We, well Tess mostly, wrote pages of likes and dislikes, rules, safety stuff...'
'But Jess threw the list away.'
'Basically, you can do what you fancy. But nothing humiliating or rough in any way. You explain what you are doing, and I get to say no, or stop, at any point.'
'Yes, of course. And conversely, you must stop doing something to me, if
I
ask.' Gary held a straight face before laughing. Seeing the women did not understand his joke made him laugh more, before clearing his throat. 'No seriously though, you can do what you like to me. I won't mind.'
Jessica and Gary entered his hotel bedroom, standing in the middle of the room. He took Jessica's cheek in his hand and moved his mouth towards hers.
'Whoa! Easy tiger.'
'No kissing? Fine Jess. Sorry, I should have asked.'
Jessica tapped on her mobile, sitting on the edge of the bed. Gary heard just one side of the conversation.
'Hi Tess, everything is fine. What do you think about kissing?'... 'It is up to you. I don't mind either way.'... 'Ok.'... 'No, I am still dressed.'... 'Yes, I am enjoying it. Really exciting.'... 'Love you too.'
Jessica raised her face towards Gary. Both had slightly awkward, but broad grins.
'Shall I take this off?'
Jessica fingered the hem of her short dress.
'God yes. Please do.'
She hung the dress over the back of the chair and lay back on the bed. He sat next to her.
