Maya and Becky cruised down the sun-drenched streets, their yoga mats tucked neatly in the backseat. The scent of lavender and a tinge of sweat still clung to their skin from the morning class, and the gentle hum of the car's engine provided a soothing backdrop to their conversation.
Maya's mind had been racing ever since Becky had suggested that she try carrying their friend Anna. She traced her memory back to last summer when she and Anna had spent time at the river together, baking in the sun. She recalled laying nude on their towels, and how she kept sneaking glances at Anna's delicate figure. Her blonde hair pulled into a tight bun, her fair skin glowing in the sunlight, her subtle curves. She recalled how tiny Anna looked laying there.
A familiar feeling started growing in her groin, a lump forming in the back of her throat.
Maya, her knuckles gripping the steering wheel, glanced at Becky. "Can I tell you something embarrassing?" she asked, her voice hesitant, "I'm a little turned on already, just thinking about picking up Anna."
Becky raised an eyebrow and snickered. "Embarrassing? That's not embarrassing. I get turned on thinking about picking you up." Becky playfully punched Maya's shoulder.
Maya shifted uncomfortably in her seat. "It's embarrassing because I still feel completely humiliated by what happened in yoga." Maya explained. "And Anna is our friend. So isn't it messed up that I want to overpower and humiliate her, when I know how it feels?"
Becky chuckled. "Maya, domination is not always a bad....."
Maya cut her off mid sentence
"But I so badly want to feel strong," Maya confessed. "I hate that Kim was able to overpower me so easily. I hate that all of you could carry me so easily. The way everybody laughed and smirked as they passed me around." The feeling of a embarrassment began to overwhelm Maya's thoughts.
Becky leaned back, her eyes scanning the passing trees as they pulled into the restaurant parking lot, thinking of what to say. But before Becky could respond, destiny intervened. They pulled in right behind Anna, who was closing the door to her car.
Maya sighed and glanced at Becky with a smirk. "You know what, I deserve this right? I mean, its my birthday." She said, putting the car into park.
Anna stood with a present in her hands, petite and unsuspecting. She was a vision in her white sundress, the sunlight catching her blonde hair. At just five feet tall and weighing a mere 88 pounds, she seemed like a delicate porcelain doll. Her thin silhouette visible through the dress.
Maya's heart raced with anticipation as she stepped out of the car, the warm breeze playing with her hair. She smiled as Anna finally noticed them, giving an excited wave.
Becky grinned mischievously. "Okay, Maya," she said, "It's your turn now, you deserve this. Carpe Diem!"
Determined, Maya left out of the car and approached her tiny friend. "Anna!" she exclaimed, her voice bubbling with excitement. Anna stood on the curb, her smile radiant as she watched Maya approach.
Anna opened her arms for a hug. "Happy Birthday girl!" She said excitedly
Anna's blue eyes widened as Maya hugged her around her waist and picked her up effortlessly, holding her in the air. "Whoa, okay. What are you doing?" Anna asked, her confusion evident.
Maya grinned, her eyes closed as she pressed the side of her face against Anna's chest. "Oh wow, you're so light." Was all she muttered.
Anna's heels dangled a foot above the ground, as she clung to Maya's shoulders. "Maya, what are you doing? Put me down please." She tried to squirm through Maya's interlocked arms, but remained where she was.
