chapter 1
Finally, the train arrived. The short delay had felt like an eternity to Lena, after she had been traveling for hours. Annoyed and exhausted, she boarded the first carriage after the train had come to a stop after a seemingly endless braking process. At least the young lady found a seat immediately. Spending the three hours of the journey standing would certainly have given her the rest.
She had spent her last money on this 2nd class ticket and now she just wanted to get out of here. Nothing kept her in this hick town anymore. After yesterday's big fight, the eighteen-year-old had packed her bags head over heels and left her parents' house without further ado.
This time, her mother and her hated stepfather had gone too far. Taking away her smartphone just because she had taken her life into her own hands and dropped out of pointless school shortly before graduating from high school had escalated the already tense situation.
Lena had had enough of the paternalism of her mother, who still treated her like a child. Never again did she want to have to put up with the advice of her stepfather, who always knew better.
When the train started moving after an announcement, the young blonde looked out the window, and when the hated small town slowly disappeared from her field of vision, a smile appeared on her pretty face.
For the moment, she was happy. Happy to have taken the first step into her new life. Sure, it wouldn't be easy, but at least there was still her sister Tanja, to whom she was now on her way. As the landscapes flashed by, she thought of her older sister. They had not seen each other for two years. They spoke often on the phone, but Lena still missed her sister very much.
If only she could have called Tanja, but without her smartphone, Lena didn't even have her number anymore. Fortunately, she at least knew her new address. Until she found a job as a waitress and earned some money for her own apartment, she would certainly be able to stay with Tanja.
Relieved, the young lady now stretched out her long legs and nestled against the cushioned headrest. Exhausted, she fell asleep while alternating landscapes and small-town train stations passed her by. Also delayed, the train reached its destination three hours later. Finally, Lena had arrived in the big city.
Since she had no money for a cab or public transportation, she immediately set out on foot with her heavy backpack to her sister's address. After one and a half hours of walking and countless directions from passers-by, she finally reached her desired destination.
Although she was already exhausted, the beautiful runaway was amazed when she looked at the noble domicile that her sister had indicated as her new residence.
She had really not expected a villa in a noble part of town. Tanja had not only moved to the big city for professional reasons, but also because there was too little going on at home.
Her sister wanted to experience the glittering nightlife and not be stuck in the provinces. Lena had therefore rather expected a trendy part of town where life pulsated than a conservative, albeit very luxurious residential area.
After reassuring herself that it really was the right address, the attractive blonde excitedly entered the property. Finding no name on the door, she excitedly pressed the bell.
It took a while before the door opened and Lena saw her deeply surprised sister. Before Tanja could say a word, Lena fell into her arms and hugged her older sister with relief.
