--- DAWN OF CORRUPTION - CHAPTER 8 ---
Monday morning, Dawn felt rather nervous and fidgety. She was wearing a loose fitting skirt, as Tiffany from the tattoo parlour had said her new ink might heal up faster that way, but Dawn was feeling nervous that someone might notice the embarrassing words now permanently etched onto her plump bottom. Although, the very idea of the tattoos still felt thrilling, Dawn glanced over at Sebastian several times as they walked onto campus - a glint of worry somewhere deep in her eyes. His presence always calmed her down, and she was thankful he stayed by her side. Lately they had nearly been inseparable, and she loved that.
"No one is going to notice, Sweetling," he reassured her as they walked through the quadrangle, hand in hand. He was wearing a tight-fitting dress shirt and his hair was a little messy, in just the right way for it to have that rugged-but-sexy look.
She sighed deeply. "Sorry for being so worked up about it," Dawn said quietly. Her bottom was still very tender and it felt strange to sit down on it.
He squeezed her hand gently and pulled her into his arms. His body felt comforting against hers, and she leaned into him - eyes closed, just enjoying his warmth and proximity. She kissed his neck gently, lovingly. The sweet scent of his cologne was intoxicating, and she found herself growing aroused as they stood like that, ignoring the other students passing them by. He was so gentle with her now, since the ink had been put on her - a nurturing side that she had not fully seen in him earlier seemed to have manifested over night, and it made her feel very special. It was clear he really appreciated that she had gone through with the whole ordeal of getting his name permanently etched onto her skin, along with the embarrassing message on the other cheek.
She smiled, a dreamy look in her eyes as she looked up at him. "I love you," Dawn whispered.
"I love you too, Sweetling. Now, let's get to class," he said, letting go of her reluctantly, running his fingers through her blonde hair as he did so. Her cheeks were tinted pink, and her nipples felt hard underneath the thin blouse she had on, and Sebastian smirked as if he knew exactly what was on her mind. Dawn had been dressing a little more daring as of late, as her boyfriend seemed to prefer that.
A minute later, he pushed the door to their lecture hall open for her, and they walked into the room together, finding some seats towards the front. It didn't take long before they were joined by Jennifer, though to Dawn's surprise, she took the seat next to Sebastian and not the one next to her. Instantly, Dawn's jealousy flared up.
"Good morning!" Jen chirped happily. She seemed in good spirits today, and turned to face Dawn as she sat down. "How was your weekend? Did you do anything fun?" The look on her face was a little bit naughty, as if she expected them to tell her something really juicy. She seemed highly invested in their love life ever since she found out they were sexually active.
"Nothing much," Sebastian replied for the both of them. "But it was nice. We had a good time." He leaned back in his chair and reached out for Dawn's hand, holding it under the table, running his thumb over the back of her fingers in a caressing manner. "How about yours?"
Jennifer made a face. "Honestly, it was kind of boring. We should hang out more." She batted her eyelashes at Sebastian as if there was more she wanted to say. However, he seemed to be focused on Dawn alone, and wasn't really paying attention - but she couldn't help but notice these things. Jen was acting strange around Sebastian recently and it was starting to become a problem. It was really starting to wear Dawn's nerves thin, and it felt like she would explode if this kept up much longer.
"Jen.." she said rather coldly. "You need to stop acting like that. Back off. Sebastian is mine." Dawn came across very bluntly. The words felt like they were slipping out of her mouth on their own. She didn't know what had caused this sudden shift, but she found that she could no longer contain her irritation with the way Jen was trying so hard to put herself into their relationship somehow. Though they were close friends, she had to draw the line somewhere, or things might get messy.
She had no idea what had come over her, and saw the expression on Jen's face turn sour as she realised that Dawn wasn't being facetious at all - the words had been very much meant with utmost seriousness. Jennifer guffawed, as if Dawn's statement was the most ridiculous thing she had ever heard. "I'm not trying to steal him from you," she said with a tone that implied this discussion was unnecessary and childish.
"I hate it when you look at him like he's irresistible," Dawn blurted out in frustration. She knew she was being too honest about this, but now that the can of worms was already open, she might as well see it through to the end.
