Standing outside of Tabia's front door, I carried a neatly wrapped package under my arm. Having been running around the mostly empty mall during the morning, I had been frantically looking for a present for Tabia. Thankfully, I managed to find something for her, eventually, and we had wrapping paper at home, which Emilia helped wrap as I definitely would just mess it up. Mom had greeted me shortly, and I noticed her lingering gaze but she quickly excused herself and said to me to wish Tabia a happy birthday from her. Ringing the doorbell, I waited for no longer than ten seconds before Tabia threw open the door, a beaming smile plastered on her face as she awkwardly greeted me.
"Hi! I'm really glad you could uhh... That you could come... and... C-celebrate me heh..." Tabia stumbled, mostly just really excited by the looks of it. Dressed in her usual black, punkish outfit, black baggy pants that once were loose but now after her recent weight gain were a little tight around her thighs and butt. The black and red top with white graffiti-like letters on it that she's wearing is in a similar state as she's constantly pulling at the fabric as it slowly crawls up her pudgy stomach.
"I wouldn't miss it. And you look very pretty. Did you do something with your hair?"
"You noticed! Wasn't really expecting, well... anyone to notice. Mom didn't... But! If you are wondering, my hair has been a bit wilder lately, so I don't want to brag too much, but I cut it myself, and I shaved down the side yesterday. I think it turned out pretty good, a bit longer than usual but I think it suits me. What do uhm... you think?" Tabia asked cautiously, nervously playing with her black hair in anticipation.
"Well I already said it's pretty. It really does look good on you. It's very impressive that you cut your own hair too," I said, which caused Tabia's light brown skin to turn faintly red while smiling shyly.
"Well thanks... I guess heh... But please come in or something. Don't want you to, catch a cold or whatever heh," Tabia tried to say nonchalantly as she invited me in, but no amount of deadpanned speech or cold sarcasm could cover up the giddy energy Tabia is hoarding. "Do you uhm... wanna come up to my room or something?" Tabia asks, lingering by the stairs.
"Sure!" Heading up the stairs, we entered her black themed room. I could see that it had been recently cleaned, with everything looking well organized and spotless. "Well, happy birthday! I was in a bit of a rush but I hope that you'll like this," I said as I held out the present to Tabia.
"Thank you! But you didn't have to give me anything you know." Tabia said, gratefully taking the present. Unwrapping it, she took out the figurine of Sally from the movie The Nightmare Before Christmas. "Wow! Thank you so much!"
"Didn't really know what to get you, but I remembered seeing the movie on the shelf downstairs. Plus it matches your aesthetic so I thought it would be an okay present."
"Okay? It's great! I love that movie and... Well it's a bit embarrassing but I did have a small crush on Jack when I was younger." Tabia blushes, looking down at Sally before back at me but avoiding my eyes.
"Really? The tall skeleton was your crush?"
"Hush! Yeah... kinda... But never mind that! So... Up for some boardgames, beer and snacks?"
"Always. It sounds fun and it is your birthday so you get to pick what we do. I'm up for anything," I responded, with Tabia smiling as she turned to her shelf to pick up one of two boardgames that stood there and brought it with her as we headed down into the living room. The last time I'd been here was when I put up a shelf for Lauren, Tabia's adoptive mother, and at the same time fed and briefly fingered her. Setting up on the coffee table by the sofa, Tabia began explaining the rules as I listened intently, trying to follow along.
"So shall we begin?" Tabia asked expectantly, fiddling with a few of the pieces as I took one more look at the board in front of me.
"Yes. Let's begin," I said, definitely not understanding most of it. Starting off, Tabia took her turn, which did make things a bit more understandable as she moved the plastic pieces around and drawing cards. When it became my turn, Tabia spent her time shoving chips into her salivating mouth while opening a beer, smacking her lips after each mouthful. Turn after turn went by, Tabia quickly emptying the large family sized bag of chips on my turns, going away to grab more and more snacks. Small pasties, additional chips and soda to switch up the beer with, Tabia was like a machine while eating. As the game went on, Tabia's bulging stomach became more and more noticeable, but she never stopped eating, caressing and groaning softly as she had practically eaten a small party's worth of snacks. The game took a couple of hours, and I thought I was winning but near the end it became quite clear that Tabia was way more skilled and had some actual functioning strategy, which in the end granted her a joyous victory.
"Hell yeah! I *hick* am the vhic- *hick* vhictor!" Tabia exclaimed as she made her final move, quickly jumping up from the sofa to do an animated cheer, but due to how much she had been eating and drinking, her stuffed stomach and the inebriation of the alcohol caused her to fall back into the sofa. Laughing loudly, Tabia rubbed her pregnant looking stomach with caressing hands as she glanced over at me with big sparkling eyes. "I won hehe..." Tabia smiled, sinking further into the couch. Moving closer over to Tabia, I placed my hand on her tummy, slowly stroking it as Tabia giggles.
"Congrats baby," I said, which caused Tabia to gasp briefly. "What is it?"
