XXXVIII: Sex-Related Brain Damage
Marie and Blake
Marie
Despite Marie's lingering arousal and almost desperate need to cum making her a bit spacey at times, she found she enjoyed the rest of her day almost as much as she'd enjoyed the morning.
It wasn't like she hadn't expected Lexi to be fun or that they wouldn't get along, but Marie realized she hadn't really been out with anyone besides short outings with Emily or Carla since Liam. Part of her was nervous she would be the one that wasn't fun or who would come off awkward. She and Lexi hadn't been
all
sex since they'd met, but they'd mostly texted during the middle of the week, and when they saw each other, everything was sexually charged, because even if they weren't fucking each other that moment, they both knew that was where things were headed.
Thankfully, they hadn't encountered Sophie or Blake on their way out--Marie hadn't wanted to deal with the awkward introductions, especially given how weird things were between her and Blake at the moment--and when they got downstairs, Lexi led her out to the T stop.
When Lexi grabbed Marie's hand and smiled at her as they got on the T, pretty much all her tension melted away. She didn't know if it was their dynamic or just how Lexi made her feel, or the butterflies of getting to this stage with someone new, but Lexi made Marie feel safe.
Lexi messed with her a bit, having her sit on her lap and on her
very
prominent bulge a few times, and a few times on the T and after they got off and went into the Boston Public Gardens, they nearly got caught when Lexi touched Marie in just the right way to elicit a moan. They picked up food at a nearby market and ate in the Commons for a bit, people-watching, and when they grew tired of walking around and sitting on the grass, they ran over to a nearby theater and saw a new spy-comedy that wasn't really Marie's thing, but it wasn't bad. She didn't think she would have cared even if it was. Sitting cuddled up next to Lexi with some popcorn was probably the nicest non-sexual thing she'd done in a while. Though, making out with Lexi during some of the more boring parts of the movie was pretty great, too.
It amazed Marie how Lexi seemed to be able to stay in control even while relaxed. They would kiss, and the taller girl would know
exactly
how to tease her and make her whimper or space out for a moment. She also rarely stopped touching Marie.
Marie found that she liked that. A lot.
It didn't make much sense--she'd definitely needed her space from Liam at times, and she kept waiting for that feeling to arise with Lexi, but it never did. Marie started leaning into the touches a bit more whenever they came.
When they finally started to head back toward Marie's dorm as the sun went down, Marie studied Lexi. The taller girl eventually caught her and grinned, "What are you thinking about?"
Marie blushed. She thought about deflecting for a moment, but then remembered the promise she'd made.
"I was trying to decide if I'm just insanely horny right now and that's playing a big part or if I'm just having a really good time with you."
Lexi's grin widened, If I did my job right, definitely a bit of the first, but I'm hoping quite a lot of the second."
Marie squeezed Lexi's hand, smiling, then thought for a moment before speaking, "Tell me something about you."
Lexi raised an eyebrow, "That's a pretty broad question."
"Something that wouldn't just come up, then," Marie said, "Maybe something about your roommate or your family, unless that's a bit more...beyond whatever we are kind of topic."
Lexi flashed her a half-smile at that.
"You sound like you've been on my end of that question before."
Marie nodded, "Liam asked a few times, but I usually deflected. He was always quiet about his family, too, though, so he never pushed too much. He always talked about his aunt and uncle rather than his parents, so I figured something was there, but decided I would talk with him about my side of things if he talked about his."
She smiled up at Lexi, "I'm hoping your roommate situation isn't as much drama as mine is, though." Lexi snorted, "Thankfully, no."
Then she frowned, looking down at Marie, "Things still weird with you and...Blake?"
Marie nodded, "Sometimes she seems like she wants to be friends like we were before all this drama and before I found out she--some stuff about her I was a little judge-y for in the past."
Marie took a deep breath.
That was close.
"Sophie's still just...Sophie," she said, "She keeps to herself most of the time. Never any drama with her, but I don't think Blake or I are very close with her, and--" Marie frowned, glaring up at Lexi, "You never answered my question."
Lexi laughed, squeezing her hand, "Only because you sounded like you had something on your mind. And I wanted to see how long it would take you to notice."
Marie stuck her tongue out at Lexi on impulse, then blushed when she realized what she'd done. Lexi just laughed and brought a hand up to brush against her cheek. The contact made Marie shiver. "You're cute, Marie," Lexi said, "And Kendra and I were pretty lucky as far as roommate's go. She accepts me for who and what I am and we're pretty good friends."
She paused, "The only thing she ever does that really gets on my nerves is crush on my sister. Though thankfully, that's only when Helen comes out to visit."
Helen, sister. Kendra, roommate.
Even as she catalogued the information and stored it away to make sure she wouldn't forget--she would
not
screw this up--Marie raised an eyebrow, "Well...is she hot?"
Marie's eyes went wide as Lexi blushed, sighing, "Yes, Helen is hot. I guess I can't really blame Kendra for crushing on her."
"Is Helen the issue, then?"
Lexi started to shake her head, then shrugged, "Not really. She--"
Lexi paused for a moment, stopped walking even, and for a moment, Marie worried that she'd asked the wrong question. When Lexi spoke again, though, she sounded almost relieved.
