The Canyon

Dennis has been a nudist for as long as he can remember. As a boy he would go off in the woods and get naked and play in the streams. It wasn't until he was an adult and in the military that he understood that his feeling of wanting to be nude was normal and that there are places where it is accepted.

While stationed in the California desert he heard of a canyon in Palm Springs that you could hike and people would hang out naked. One Saturday he got directions and decided to try and find it.

The directions were spot on and he parked his car and set off down the trail next to a fence line. Soon he came to a stream flowing down between the canyon walls. He started up and found a well used path. The path would mostly travel along the stream, however at some places where there was a small waterfall it would branch away and up.

He continued for 20 minutes until he heard voices. He came out into a clearing with a large pool of water in front of a giant waterfall. The waterfall was only about 8 feet wide but 40 or 50 feet tall. Here he found 5 people. It appeared to be 2 groups. The first was a couple and the second was a guy with 2 girls. Both guys were nude. The girl with the guy was obviously a couple. She was lying on a folding chair topless facing the sun. The 2 girls with the other guy both were wearing bikinis.

Dennis introduced himself asking if they mind if he joins them at this pool. Everyone says sure and introductions are made. The couple was Dan and Sherry, the 2

goy was Steve and he was here with 2 of his college friends Amber and Vanessa.

Dennis removes his shirt and shorts but leaves on his sneakers due to the rocky terrain. He wades out into the pool heading to the base of the falls. As he gets close he can feel the spray hitting him. The temperature is near 100 so this is refreshing. The water is just over waist deep and a large rock sits directly in front of the falls. He dunks himself to cool down and wash away the sweat from the climb. Then he climbs onto the rock to soak up some sun.

Vanessa and Amber climb onto the rock and tell Steve to get the camera from their bag and take pictures of them in front of the falls. The girls are standing on either side of Dennis so he sits up and asks if they want him to get down while they take pictures. They tell him it would be great to have a naked man in the photos to show their friends back at school if he doesn't mind. It was the 80's and no one had heard of the internet at that time and the camera was a 35mm.

Dennis said it was ok; in fact he would love to be in their pictures. He wondered how he could get a copy but did not ask at that time. Steve returns with the camera and takes pictures of the girls standing next to Dennis while he sat. They tell him to stand up and put an arm around each girl. He jumps at the opportunity to be closer to them.

Steve snaps a few pictures and then Dennis asks if he should come down and take some pictures of the 3 of them together. Steve and the girls agree and Steve returns to the bank and quickly grabs his shorts. The girls both reply awe but Steve has his shorts on now and is heading to the rock to be next to the girls. Once he climbs up next to them they squeeze close together for a picture. Then Steve and Vanessa hug while Amber stands next to them. Dennis tells them the picture would be so much nicer if they were all nude or if the girls were at least topless. Everyone hesitates for a bit but then Steve removes his shorts and drops them on the rock. He reaches behind Vanessa's neck and undoes the string holding her top up. Then he reaches behind her and unties the string on her back. Vanessa is still holding her bikini top in place and Dennis snaps a few pictures at that time. Amber looks a little out of place and decides to climb down.

Vanessa lets Steve take her top and drop it onto his shorts. They hug with Vanessa pressing her body against Steve. They kiss and hold each other while Dennis takes a few more pictures. Dennis hollers up to them to get there attention. He tells them to stand side by side so he can take a proper pic of them. They do and everyone notices that Steve has a semi erection starting. Dennis takes the picture and Steve grabs their things and climbs down into the cold water. He helps Vanessa down and she asks for her top. Steve said that since he is nude she could at least be topless. Everyone here has seen her already.

Vanessa looks over to Amber who is now standing next to Dennis. She tells Steve she will leave her top off only if Amber joins her in being topless. Everyone looks to Amber to see her response. Without saying a word she smiles a sexy smile and removers her top. She doesn't stop there and quickly her bottoms are pulled down and she steps out of them. Dennis can't help but say very nice and Amber smiles at him.

Dan and Sherry then come into the water. Sherry said the pictures looked like fun and she always dreamed of modeling for Playboy so she wants her picture taken also. Dan is carrying a Kodak instant camera. Sherry climbs up onto the rock and Dan takes her picture. He asks Dennis to hold it while it develops to see if it came out nice. In a minute the picture starts to become clear and even though the lighting is a bit dark Sherry proudly standing with on hand on her hip, breasts fully tanned in the picture. Dan asks Dennis if he would do the honor of taking their picture together and he agrees.

Dan climbs up onto the rock and he and Sherry interlock there arms and smile. Dennis takes the picture and they wait on the rock and ask Dennis to let them know if it came out OK. In a minute the picture becomes clear and it looks good. Dennis goes over to the rock and shows Dan. Dan asks him to take 1 more of them together so Dennis backs up and takes a second shot.

Dan climbs down while Sherry remains on the rock now facing away from everyone and looking at the falls. She twirls around a few times and is enjoying the feel of the mist on her body. She reaches down and pulls the red bikini bottoms off. She tells Dan to take another picture of her before she climbs down. Dan takes the picture and Sherry comes down and goes back to her chair. Now she is sunbathing nude and seems content with herself.

Dan and Vanessa have since moved over close to the bank and are sitting in the water talking and kissing. Amber is standing next to Dennis and they begin to talk. Dennis tells her that he is from Pennsylvania but is stationed here in California with the U. S. Marines. Amber perks up finding out that Dennis is a Marine and tells him that she is from just outside San Francisco and wanted to go to college in Cali but get away from her parents so she chose a school in Southern California. Dennis tells her she is beautiful and brave for joining in on being nude. She said she has been to a nude beach in San Francisco and she isn't shy about her body.

While they are talking another group of people show up at the clearing. This time it is 2 guys and 2 girls. Everyone is dressed and they apologize for intruding. Dennis and Steve tell them it's ok and that they are welcome to join them here by the falls. They talk a few minutes then one guy mentions that he knows this is shallow and that back down the trail there is a deep pool of water by a small 10 foot falls where they can swim and they will go there. They grab there things and turn around heading back down the path.

Amber tells Dennis she would love to swim and asks Dennis if they should follow them. Dennis agrees and they both grab their clothes and head off down the path without bothering to get dressed. In just a few minutes they come upon the group that just left. They tell them swimming sounds fun and can they join them. Everyone agrees and Dennis and Amber drop there clothes and climb down into the pool of water. It gets deep after just a few feet and they now have to tread water to stay afloat. They swim around a few minutes then look up at the rock above where the others were and see everyone is now nude. They all climb down and get into the water.

After a bit the 2 girls tell the guys they should go up onto the rock and jump into the water. The guys agree and Amber asks Dennis if he is going to jump also. Dennis immediately climbs out and heads up to the top of the rock. Once on top all 3 guys look at each other nervously as now the 10 foot jump seems much higher. They talk among themselves and decide to just go for it. They back up a few feet and all run to the edge and jump creating 3 huge splashes.

Once they surface they swim over to the girls. At this time Dennis realizes the mistake he made. When he jumped his legs were apart and the impact to the water was directly on his balls. He tells Amber and she asks him if they need to be rubbed. Thinking she is joking Dennis tells her they sure do. She reaches under the water and gently grabs his balls and massages them. Dennis thinks his eyes are going to pop out of his head and looks around at the others but no one is paying attention to them. Amber stops feeling Dennis up and tells him she wants to go up on the rock and get some sun. They climb out of the water and go up top to lay on the warm rock and let the sun shine onto their entire bodies.

Eventually the other 4 come up and find places to stretch out and enjoy the sun. After about 30 minutes Dan and Sherry come down the trail and stop to say hello again. Dan thanks Dennis for taking the pictures for them and with that Sherry hands Dennis the photo of her topless on the rock. They tell him to keep it to remember the day. Dennis asks if they would mind taking a picture of him to have as a memory of the day. They agree and Dennis asks Amber if she wants to be in the picture. She says sure but how about an action shot. Dennis asks what she has in mind and she tells him jumping off the rock looked fun and maybe they can jump hand in hand while Dan takes there picture. Dan agrees and climbs down to the pool below. Once in position Dennis and Amber approach the edge, hold hands and step off. Dennis remembers to keep his legs closed as they hit the water. They swim to the edge and Dan is waving the picture back and forth so it dries and develops. When the image is clear they see Dan captured them just as they were stepping off the edge of the rock. Dan gives Dennis the photo and he and Sherry say goodbye and head off down the trail.

Dennis and Amber are looking at the picture when Amber leans over and kisses Dennis hard and passionately. They feel and grope each other then decide to get up and move to a different rock to lie out in the sun again.

Later Amber's friends Steve and Vanessa come down the trail. They ask Amber if she is ready to go. She says no but she understands if they want to head back to campus. Dennis tells her that he has no plans for the rest of the weekend and he can drive her back when they decide to leave.

Steve and Vanessa say OK and head down the trail to their car. Dennis and Amber lay next to each other holding hands and chatting. They get up and take a nude stroll around the canyon. By late afternoon they decide it is time to go as the sun is hot and they are thirsty and hungry. They get dressed and head back to Dennis' car.

They find a restaurant on the way out of town and stop to eat before returning to Amber's dorm. There the day will continue. Next chapter soon.
