So, thought Toby, as he and Gloria left Gloria's to go to the communal backyard for breakfast, this isn't awkward at all. Just a little charming breakfast with the woman I just slept with; the woman who helped me lose my virginity and who I'm sleeping with tonight; my cousin, who I saw topless last night; and the man who she exposed herself to while he was fucking the woman I'm seeing tonight.
He could see what Gloria meant about how sometimes it was simpler just to be friends. It could be so simple in Sunny Park. In two weeks he'd been with three women - four if you counted the handjob from Carla, which he did. They'd no doubt been with other men, and in fact he'd seen Gloria and Dolly in action. There was plenty to go around, no reason to be jealous, no reason to make things complicated. It was, Toby thought, paradise.
But Bill and Faith
were
making it complicated. Bill couldn't keep his eyes off Toby's cousin, although he seemed to be trying. Faith flaunted herself in front of Bill, practically begging for his gaze. Of the two, weirdly, Faith seemed to be showing more of the Sunny Park spirit, although fucking Dolly where Faith could see seemed a Sunny Park thing to do, too.
"So, do you think they'll all show," Gloria asked, "or do you think one of them will chicken out?"
"It's all a bit dramatic, isn't it?" Toby said. "Faith better show, it's her turn to bring the cereal and milk."
"Right. I'll go back in and get some, just in case."
Toby watched as Gloria walked away. She had a fine ass, and she wore such tight shorts. And her back was nice, too, the bareness of it broken only by a black bra strap. Ah, Sunny Park.
Bill and Dolly came to the backyard next. When Dolly had stayed at his place, she'd come to breakfast in lingerie, but she was fully dressed today in a cute flower sundress with a sweetheart neckline, and Bill was in a suit. Dolly walked straight toward him.
"I'm not staying," Dolly said. "But I did want to get my morning grope."
Toby stood, and kissed Dolly while groping her boobs with one hand and her ass with the other.
"I can just barely wait for tonight to go down on you," she whispered to him. "I want to do it right here."
Ah, not awkward at all, thought Toby, as his cock hardened. Dolly twirled away. "See you tonight, Toby. Thanks for the great evening, Bill." She kissed Bill quickly, and then walked off toward Henry Miller Street.
Toby saw his chance. "Bill, what's up with you and Faith?"
"Nothing is up with me and Faith," Bill said, a trifle too quickly. "Nothing at all. We are friends, that's all."
"She seems rather into you."
Bill nodded. "Noticed that, did you?"
Toby resisted telling Bill just how obvious it was.
"Your cousin," Bill said, "Is a young, innocent woman. And I am, to put it mildly, a man of experience. Trust me, I have done my best to dissuade her."
"Like by fucking Dolly and having her yell like that?"
"Dolly yells, you know that. She likes attention. I didn't tell her to yell any of those things, and in fact, I thought she was a bit over the top myself. But yes, it occurred to me that Faith was probably idealizing me, and it was best to disabuse her of her romantic notions."
"So you pretended you had a call yesterday morning, when in fact you went to call Dolly to have her come over."
Bill narrowed. "You're a perceptive young man, aren't you?"
"Yeah. I also know that you want Faith as much as she wants you."
Bill shook his head. "It's totally inappropriate. I'm the trustee of her estate, as I am of yours. She's young enough to be my daughter. And she looks..." He trailed off.
"Looks like a young Aunt Meg."
"It's uncanny."
"You wanted to see her in that dress." Toby said, referring to Bill sending her the dress Maggie wore in
Deep Inside Maggie Love
.
Bill nodded. "Not my finest moment. In my defense, I thought that if she wore that to the dining hall it would help her get over herself, a little. Start to fit in here at Sunny Park. If she leaves, and I was to have to decide that she was not following the terms of the will - well, you see my conflict of interest."
Toby nodded. "I suppose I do, at that."
"And here she comes," Bill said.
Faith was wearing just shorts and a bra, not unlike Gloria, who was approaching from the other side. Faith carried three boxes of cereal. Compared to the lacy things he'd seen women wear walking down the street, or at breakfast, in Sunny Park, Faith's bra was practically an armored breastplate, all function and coverage and no allure, but it was still a bra, and his cousin was still not wearing a shirt.
"Could Dolly not stay?" Faith asked. "What a shame. Why, hello Bill." She put down the boxes. "I'll go back in for the milk."
"No worries, I brought some," Gloria said. "We weren't sure you were going to show."
"Why wouldn't I?" Faith asked evenly.
"No reason," Gloria said. "No kiss for Bill this morning?"
"Well," Faith said. "I'm not sure he's earned it." But she turned and kissed Bill lightly on the lips.
Maybe that's that, thought Toby. But he had a suspicion that Faith was just changing tactics. His cousin had never been one to give up easily. The rest of breakfast passed with idle and harmless chatter, although there was a brittleness to their bonhomie that didn't feel much like the Sunny Park atmosphere at all.
That morning, Faith was happy to receive a bill addressed to Margaret Callan, her aunt. It was the perfect excuse to go see Bill.
He'd mentioned going into the office today, which was in downtown Sunny Park, such as it was. The whole town had less than a thousand people, and was ten miles from Los Frisco, the closest other city.
Faith searched through Maggie's things and found what she was looking for. Soon, she was dressed in a tight leather mini-dress, whose bustier-like top half pushed her breasts up like they were on a shelf, while keeping her nipples covered. With it, she wore thigh-high leather boots. Maggie's feet weren't quite her size, so they were a bit ouchy, but they were close enough, Faith thought. She looked at herself in the mirror.
"Bow down, and serve," she said, experimentally.
She decided she needed lipstick. She didn't really want Bill bowing down and serving her, but she'd gotten the clear impression that was what he was into. Not always, apparently. Not with Dolly, last night. But that's what had drawn him to Aunt Margaret, and Faith felt she could play the part. She certainly looked the part, once she'd reddened her lips some.
Mistress Faith.
She tucked the bill in her cleavage and walked to Bill's office.
She was not used to walking in four-inch heels, and she wasn't used to walking in shoes a half-size too small, either. By the time she got there, her feet hurt, and she resolved to take a taxi on the way back. Hopefully Jack would be driving it.
Her friend Amber, Bill's secretary, took a long look at her as she walked in. "Wow, Faith. That's quite the look. Bill will be walking around with a hard-on all day, if he sees you in that."
Faith tried to stop her grin from reaching her face. "Well," she said, "I have a letter that needs his attention."
"I don't suppose you want to leave it with me?" Amber asked.
"That would defeat the point, I think."
Amber nodded, getting it instantly. Amber was such a good friend. She pressed a button on her desk. "Miss Cromwell here to see you, with correspondence for Ms. Callan," she said into the receiver.
"She says she needs to deliver it to you personally," Amber said, with a wink at Faith. "She wants to make sure you get it. Yes, I know that I'm perfectly reliable, but I think you'll want to see her."
Amber smiled. "He says to go right in. Leave the door open when you leave."
"Okay." Faith teetered to the door and walked in, trying not to mince her steps too much, and to stand up tall.
"Hello, Faith," Bill said, not looking up. "You can leave things with Amber, you know. Or even let the post office forward mail, I understand they do that all the - "
The moment he looked up and his jaw dropped was priceless. She waited, letting him gawk, until he just about had control of himself. Then she took the message out of her cleavage, giving him another excuse to look at her chest. When he got his gaze up to her face again, she leaned way over, putting one hand on the desk so she didn't topple over in her ridiculous shoes, and dropped the bill in the middle of his desk.
He reached for the envelope without tearing his eyes away from her chest. Instead, he put the envelope in the way.
"It's just a gas bill," he said. "It surely could have waited."
"Perhaps it could have," Faith said. "But I chose to not wait." She remembered the fierce look she'd given the mirror. "I don't like to be kept waiting, Bill."
"Um. Yes. Well. Is that all?"
"That's all. This was just on my way, while I do my other errands," she lied. "I don't want to
tie you up
for long."
He stared at her. She licked her lips.
"Well," she said. "It's a figure of speech. I'll let you be. I know your work is a stern task mistress, and I need to finish my errands so that I can get back to practicing with Maggie's whip." She made a snapping hand gesture, just in case he didn't get it. Men were visual creatures, anyway.
"Qu - quite. Yes, I have a lot of work to do! Be sure to close the door on the way out."
She smirked. Did he need a little privacy for some reason? But Amber had told her to leave it open, so she was torn.
She walked out and decided that he could shut his door himself.
Amber was not at her desk. Instead, she was standing not far from the door, and she kissed Faith.
Faith caught on immediately why Amber had wanted the door open. So Bill could watch, of course. She kissed Amber back, remembering to use her tongue. She pretended that Amber was the only person in the world, for a moment.
She heard Bill's footsteps, and then the door slammed. Well, that was that. She moved back from Amber. Poor Amber, she looked so disappointed they hadn't been able to put on a longer show. Amber had been kissing her so convincingly that Faith could almost believe that Amber was really into her, when obviously she was just trying to help out. Amber was thoroughly on her side. Such a good friend.
