Serena Page stepped off the elevator and entered the business suite of the hotel. She was arriving for her first interview ahead of a new album release and world tour. A household name after platinum selling first and second albums Serena was on top of the music world and was excited to release a highly secretive and widely anticipated new record. After 45 minutes of prep work with the technical crew including makeup and sound, Serena finally sat down in front of Jacob the smartly dressed journalist conducting the interview. After some introductory chit-chat and some further technical adjustments the cameras started rolling.

"First of all, welcome back Serena, it's been a while."

"Thanks, it's good to be back, it's been so long, I'm super excited to be here again. Thanks for having me."

"Well of course, we're glad you're here again. I think last time was 3 or 4 years ago at that award show in Paris?"

"Yeah I think it was. God was it that long? Time really does fly. Well it's nice to be here and to be starting a new tour again. I'm hoping this one is gonna be really special."

"I'm sure it will be but I have just one question? What is the album about?" Jacob asked curiously.

Serena had been very secretive about her latest album and despite numerous rumours and speculation from her fan base, and the press, no significant information had leaked. The only thing people knew was that it was going to be "Bold", "Brave" and "Sexy" as these were the 3 words advertised in all the teaser promotions leading up to this interview and the main album announcement.

Serena sat back in her chair, gave a wry smile and answered.

"So I wanted the new album to be bigger than anything I'd done before, I wanted to push myself harder as an artist and explore new things. I guess you could say the new album is about pushing the boundaries of art and sex."

Serena locked eyes with Jacob almost daring him to ask another question. It was a fierce look but with a devilish charm to it as well.

"Could you elaborate on what you mean by pushing the boundaries?" Jacob asked.

"Of course, but in order to do that I need to tell you the story of how this album came to be. As you may already know I moved to L.A in 2015 to pursue a music career. At the time I'd been given a contract for 6 months for one EP based on a couple of demo's I had sent in. If it did well there was promise of bigger contract and a full album and if not I was basically stuck in L.A. with no money or I'd have to go back home to Iowa.

Anyway that EP was 'Stranger Sounds' and went on to become 'Stranger Sounds and Voices' my breakthrough album and you know the rest, blah blah blah, massive success, ride off into the sunset, happy ending right?

And it was great. I mean, I wasn't stuck in L.A with nothing. Things turned out how they did and here I am. And that's true to a point, but before that EP was a success things didn't look so certain. In fact there was a 9 month period during and initially after the album released where things were looking desperate. A roommate I was living with at the time was in a similar situation. She had a record deal fail and needed some cash to stay in L.A so she'd gone into modelling and then some more risqué material. I was actually kinda interested in the idea at the time. It was my first time away from my very conservative home and it seemed like it could be fun. Anyway I went along with her to one of her shoots so I could see what it was like."

"And what was it like?" asked Jacob.

"Honestly?

It was really fucking hot. Like being there on set was like a lightbulb moment for me, it was just amazing. I'd spent a large part of my youth as this sexually repressed person desperately wanting to break out. I always knew deep down I liked the idea of being watched and then I'm there on set and I see an outlet I instantly connected with. And more to the point it was one which would also pay my bills as well. I was like fuck yes. I'm doing this. Fuck the music career. I'm outta here.

Anyway that was a Friday, I said to myself I'd phone my roommates casting agent the following Monday. On Sunday night I get a call from the record label, my LP had gone viral. It was up to 20 million views on YouTube and climbing, the other tracks were close behind and also going wild on Spotify and everywhere else. Everything had changed overnight, the EP was suddenly going big, and I remember thinking well, looks like the music career is back on. And I kinda forgot about the other thing.

Well I say "forgot", but I never really forgot about it. That Friday afternoon was always in the back of my head in the years after, I just didn't know what to do about it. That is until this album. I had the idea in Germany at the end of the last world tour. I was at this after-party with a bunch of film directors and movie stars. I get talking to this one director who specialised in small indie productions and we started chatting. Towards the end of the night he started talking about some of the more erotic films he was involved with, including several ones with real sex in them. I offhandedly said to him that sounds really fun, but I could never do something like that. And he just said why not?

I shrugged it off in the moment, I think I made some dumb joke and changed the subject. But afterwards it kept nagging at me, especially on the plane ride home when I had time to reflect. In the end I was just like, you know what, why can't I? And it was that idea, that little nagging question that made this album possible, or at least made me think the album could be possible at the time."

Serena looked back at Jacob with eyes full of excitement and anticipation at what she had told him and waited for a response.

"So, erm, what does this mean for the album?" said Jacob somewhat nervously.

"Well the album is called 'Love on a Porn set' if that gives you a clue." Serena smiled casually.

There was a moment of silence between the two as the words 'Love on a Porn set' hung in the air. Sensing that Jacob didn't know how to continue Serena interjected.

"So yeah this album is pretty out there to say the least. You know it's funny, when I originally pitched this to the record company they were like, no way you can't do this. And I was like, you're the ones who've been trying to get me to wear skimpier and skimpier outfits on tour and in music videos and now I'm coming to you asking to go further and you're saying no. What's the issue here?"

"So how much further are you going?" asked Jacob.

"All the way," Serena smiled "You know at first the record company were like 'We can use actors or body doubles maybe even some visual effects so you don't have to get fully involved.' And from the beginning I was like no, it needs to be authentic, I want it to be real."

"Real?" questioned Jacob.

"Yeah. Real," stated Serena "I'm getting fucked on this album. Like a lot. I mean it's still artsy and cinematic, we made sure of that but I'm not hiding anything. As I said I wanted to push myself as an artist so I'm all in on this one. Every song on the album has its own mini-film starring yours truly so there's a lot to enjoy and it's a double album as well so lots of fun."

Jacob looked back in stunned silence, Serena just looked at him and smiled that devilish smile again.

A month later and 'Love on a Porn Set' had set the world on fire. The critics were split on the adult nature of the video content but the music spoke for itself with some inventive and catchy pop singles and some deep evocative moody ballads. Fans of Serena had largely swarmed in support of her and had already nicknamed 'Love on a Porn Set' as "The Pink Album". Ironically the front cover of the Pink Album was a black and white photo of an empty sound stage and the internal booklets and other imagery were similar. Of course the special edition of the album went in a different direction but there were only 10,000 copies of that and at a steep markup for the most ardent fans. In any case Serena had embraced her new found sexual freedom. Once known as the good girl of pop she was now all out to make a statement and to enjoy this new look as pop-exhibitionist as much as possible.

The press tour was coming to an end and Serena was in New York. Across the road from the press venue was the AVN adult film awards. Due to the timing of the album and the secretive nature of the album pre-release a press booking hadn't been made for the award show. However Serena sensing an opportunity dipped out before the last few interviews and headed over to the AVN's.

"So what made you want to make this album?" Asked Johnny Bash, veteran adult star and interviewer.

"Well I've always had a lot of sexual energy and loved the idea of showing off when I was younger. The record company were always surprised when they'd suggest a sexy outfit for a music video and I'd just agree to it no questions asked. I don't think they realised that I enjoyed wearing and doing that stuff as much as they enjoyed watching it. So this album was a way of me finally breaking out and being who I've always been and sharing what I love doing with the world."

"And we love seeing it. For those people living under a rock, what's up with the music video releases."

"Glad you asked, so we released 3 versions of every music video. There's the normal version and the lyric video version. Both of those are for YouTube and then there's the proper version only released as a pay per view through my website or via the collectors Blu-Ray."

"What's the proper version?"

"The proper version is the one this album was made for. As you know the album is called 'Love on a Porn Set'. Every song has a 'proper' music video and every one is, shall we say, a bit more explicit than your typical music video."

"And you're not pulling any punches here when you say these are pretty explicit are you?"

"Nope, this is the real deal. That's really me in every video and that's really me getting fucked."

"What was that like filming, were you nervous?"

"Honestly it was really fun, we hired a really good director and crew for all the shoots. Funnily enough we actually started off with a closed set, I think the director may have underestimated me. After a couple of days of that nonsense and making barely any progress I called time on that idea and insisted on opening the set up again to the usual crew."

"What was that like"

"At first it felt a little weird but as I said before I really like showing off so mostly when I got to set I just couldn't wait to get my clothes off. Most days I barely wore any clothes on set. The worst part of the day was putting my clothes back on at the end." Serena giggled.

"And how many of these videos did you shoot is it just the main singles?"

"So we shot a different video for each song on the album and it's a double album as well so 21 songs in total."

"That's a lot of music videos."

"Yeah and it's not just like 3 mins per song either. It's like, we've got the song there but that's more about telling part of the story. We've got a lot more stuff either side of the songs as well so it's a full experience they're more like short films than music videos honestly."

"So just off the top of your head how wild do you get in these videos?"

"What do you mean?"

"Like what kind of stuff are you performing?"

"Ah man we had so many different scenes. So there's the straight up romantic sex scene, you know mood lighting candles that kinda stuff but obviously more explicit. Then for some of the heavier pop songs I get tied up and we dive into some light S&M."

"What would you say was the most explicit thing you did for the album?"

"Well every music video is pretty explicit but if I had to pick probably the gangbang one. That was actually really fun to shoot, I got so much cum on me it was amazing. In fact for that one we kinda dropped the whole cinematic vibe and just went for the raw look to it. I was a little worried people would say the videos were special effects and faked so the gangbang one was a way of putting that rumour to bed. Lots of long takes and hand held camera work to really sell the fact it was me getting utterly railed up there."

"What else is there?"

"Oh we did some exhibitionist stuff outside as well that was really cool. In fact there's a cool story about that one. So for the exhibitionist stuff we had to keep a low profile so it was just me, the male talent and a camera. We went up into the L.A hills at magic hour to get some shots done. We're just shooting this awesome scene where I'm riding him completely naked in front of the sunset when some dude appears in the bushes, I think he was going for a piss. I know we risk ruining the shoot if we stop filming so I just lock eyes with him and put my finger to my lips to say shush, don't give us away. So the male talent finishes in me and I stand up and go to turn off the camera. But I'm still horny as fuck and there's this other dude there just watching us. I look down and see he's rock hard as well and has one hand down his pants. So I do what any really horny person would do I motion him to come over and join us. And that's how I ended up having a threesome with a stranger in front of the sunset."

"Wow that's a cool story, shame you weren't able to include it in the videos."

"We did actually ask the random dude whether we could film and he did say yes, so we do have a tape of the whole thing. But I forgot to get his details and proper sign off so we had to shelve it. If he wants to get in touch I'd love to sort something out though cos it was really hot and I'd love to release it as a bonus vid or something."

"So what was it like pitching this album to the record label, how did they react?"

"Haha, I'm glad you asked. Well they thought I was joking at first, it actually was quite difficult to make them believe I was being serious."

"How did you?"

"Well we had the initial lunch meeting where I just broached the idea but nothing more. They kinda laughed it off as a funny joke and left. The second meeting was at my L.A apartment. I'd written some demo's by this point, as well as a track list and some other ideas for the album. But I knew I needed them on board for the erotica. So I got together a greatest hits of all the music videos I'd done previously. In every one, the outfits I was wearing were getting skimpier and skimpier and the raunchiness was getting greater and greater. At one point there was talk of a nude music video with just VFX covering me up. I gathered all this ammo together and showed this in the meeting. I basically said, look, you've always wanted me to do sexier and sexier stuff and this is just me taking it to the next level."

"And did that work."

"Not immediately, no."

"What was the problem?"

"They didn't think I was serious about performing?"

"How did you convince them otherwise?"

"I took all my clothes off."

"Haha I guess that did it then?"

"Yeah pretty much, I remember I got to the end of the presentation and they were like:

'How can we know you're really serious about this, I mean this is pretty far out there?'

And I just said, like this, and then dropped my dress on the floor. It was actually a really cool moment to be honest. I got the vibe they were testing me and that was the green light for them."

"So was that it? They were on board from that point onwards."

"Yeah mostly, kinda, I mean I had to put up quite a bit of money as well as it was quite a risky venture, but it was mostly a done deal from then on."

"Mostly?"

"Well a few of the crazier videos were harder to sell. They pushed back a lot on the gangbang video but I wasn't going to let that one go. I basically made the point that once I've been fucked once on camera and shown it all then there wasn't much point in putting a limit on what I would be doing. If I was going to be a slut I'd be doing it properly and that meant gangbangs, creampies, cumwalks the whole shebang.

"That's really cool that it all worked out, that must have been a weird end to the meeting though?"

"Not really, I mean I've known Paul and Amy for years and as I said they were kinda testing me in the moment so seeing me naked wasn't a big deal for them. The rest of the evening was actually great, we fleshed out a lot of the album in one sitting with me naked on the couch. I even let them take some photos. I think once they realised this was something I was passionate about it was as if we'd crossed this invisible taboo boundary. I got some really good ideas for the music videos actually?"

"What kind of ideas?"

"Well Amy worked in the theatre before going into the music industry so she had the idea for the theatre video. Her idea was a satire of method actors but with a sexy twist. So there's this romantic play with a sex scene at the very end. The leading actors are really pretentious and are keen on 'authentic' performances so keep escalating the sex scene every Saturday show. On the final Saturday of the show's run they decide to go for broke and properly show off. I really liked shooting that one, I got to show off in front of an audience plus it had a cool aesthetic to it as well.

"Oh and the one from Paul was really fun, he came up with the superhero video."

"That one was great," said Johnny "Can you give us a quick summary for our viewers."

"Sure," said Serena "So the superhero video is basically that this shy bookish girl is working as a scientist at a large pharmaceutical company and ends up gaining super powers through a workplace accident. Classic superhero origin story, but when she tries to do the classic superhero thing of fighting bad guys her clothes get ruined or destroyed. Being shy and embarrassed she keeps trying to make a suit that can handle her powers but in the end she realises it's no use. Not wanting to give up she embraces being a superhero and abandons her clothes."

"That must have been a fun one to film?"

"It was great fun, lots of time on a green screen so I could be flying around naked and lots of time wearing tight fitting spandex which keeps getting torn off. My favourite bit from that video is when my character has just finished getting fucked by her FWB and then immediately flies off post-sex to fight crime with cum still all over her."

"That bit was really hot," said Johnny "I personally liked the scene when you're riding a dude whilst the gang of thugs try to break in and attack you. I mean it's ridiculous but also really cool as well seeing you laser and beat up a bunch of guys whilst riding a cock."

"I'm glad you liked it," Said Serena excitedly "That one took ages to film but I think it pays off. There were so many cool ideas with that superhero script. Another favourite bit of mine was the montage scene where she's trying out all the costumes and they keep getting destroyed. At first she keeps trying to salvage the costume and cover the parts of herself that keep getting exposed but as time goes on she pays less and less attention to it. At the turning point of the montage there's that fight where the bad guy machine guns the top of her lycra suit to pieces exposing her/my tits. Instead of hiding away she incinerates the rest of her costume with her eye lasers and beats the shit out the bad guys naked."

"That montage was really fun, I like how it kinda has two parts as well, the first half being the shy scientist and then the second half being how she embraces her unique style of crime fighting."

"We actually talked about ending it when she embraces being nude but I wanted to push it further. I remember Paul (my producer) coming back to me during preproduction and saying how the second half could be about how she gets out of her clothes in creative ways to avoid ruining them before a fight. He also came up with that cool scene later on where she apprehends those two young dudes robbing the family corner shop and instead of having a massive fight which would destroy the building she just fucks the two guys in exchange for them leaving."
