They had been driving for at least 40 minutes before they came to a stop. Juliet and Lily remained silent as Katie struggled against everything once in a while. Juliet was almost crying. This was utterly humiliating and since all three of them were there for an exchange student program, they had no family to immediately contact. She wanted to seek out the embassy, but with everything going on, she had no idea what to do.
The walkie-talkie officer got out and opened the door on Juliet's side. He yanked her out by the hem of her short dress and used his hands to put her upright. After that, she reached in and fetched the rest, Katie still struggling against the cop.
Juliet took the moment to study where they were. It seemed to be somewhere out of the city and they were inside a fenced area that had barbed wire. Looked like a prison alright, but there were no main details, just a tall 10-12 story square building that seemed somewhat old. Outside where three guards, all looking at them for sure by taking a few peaks. Juliet wasn't sure how often they saw, at least to her opinion, three pretty attractive women being pulled out of a police car in zipties.
Here's the thing; Juliet had no idea about her friends but she had a phobia of being restrained. Her boyfriend in the United States, Carter, always wanted her to try having some fun with blindfolds and handcuffs but she always shooed the idea away. She hadn't even had sex yet; it wasn't that she wanted to stay a virgin but was scared to start it out. Had she teased herself at night when alone by touching herself down there? Sure. But never gone for the whole thing.
"Where you looking at girl," said the first officer giving a little prompting to her back. "Don't worry, girl, this place isn't that bad for you if you behave."
He then grabbed her by her arm and they started to move towards the doors.
This place isn't that bad? A rather odd change of tone since they were arrested. Was the officer all of a sudden taking pity on them.
"Did you search the belongings?" asked the walkie-talkie cop.
"Not yet. I took a glance and it looked clean. If these three just tell us who they are we can get this over with." responded the cop
"Mhmmm over wha-mgmgm-t?" asked Katie against her gag.
The main officer opened the door and led the three inside. Juliet took a look. There wasn't much but a hallway leading to both sides. One arrow pointed to the left said "BOOKING". The other pointed to the right and had multiple things. Juliet didn't have time to read before the officer came in front of them, all three now standing in a row with their hands still ziptied.
"You all three are about to be booked into this Prison system until you await trial for your crime. I will need to know the identity of you two," he said as he pointed with both of his hands to Lily and Juliet," so we have it on record. Don't lie, because we will find out. We have your stuff and we will search your homes."
Juliet gave a cautionary glance at Katie curious to why the cop didn't ask her. This was horribly humiliating.
"I'm Lily Munn," said Lily back, almost whimpering. She was clearly scared.
"Juliet Munn," responded Juliet.
The walkie talkie cop gave the other a nodd and then took Juliet by the hips and lifted her up and put her over his shoulder.
"I'll take care of her booking, wil you assist the others," said the walkie -talkie cop.
"What are you doing to her?!?" resorted Lily angrily as she moved to see Katie struggling against the walkie talkie cop who securely held her.
The main officer looked at her and responded calmly," Now now, you know she wasn't behaving. She is just going to have to get... some extra booking procedures so that she understands order. It's best you find out from her later, walk with me."
Juliet felt her heart have a thump of relief in knowing that Katie was going to be fine later. At least so far this didn't seem so bad.
They were talked by the officer into a room that had a few wooden chairs, a clock, a desk with a man behind it in normal business attire.
"New arrests, caught leaving a diner with paying," said the cop.
Juliet fought back the urge to protest. It wouldn't do her much good here.
"Ok, we typically don't have many at once, I will get one booked and come back for the other," spoke back the man at the desk.
"Thanks Ralph," said the officer. He got into the guys desk and turned around in the chair. Ralph meanwhile had gotten up and walked over to the two girls.
Lily was crying. She had tears running down her cheeks.
"Now, now," said Ralph in a soothing voice," You did a bad crime and now we are going to punish you. Don't complain."
Juliet felt horrible for Lily. She was being directly criticized by this guy.
"Now who wants to get booked first?" he asked in a free voice," we have some procedures to do and will have another female guard do it for you."
Before Lily could say anything, Juliet stepped forward.
"Ok, I'll go." Ralph nodded and opened the door ahead of him. Inside appeared to be a room with a mirror, scale, bed, some cupboards, and two desks. At both desks were women in police uniform, all wearing tight suits so their breasts where pushed against the fabric. They both had curiously short hair.
Juliet was prompted in and Ralph closed the door. She was now alone with these two guards with her hands behind her back. There was a moment of silence before one guard got up.
"What is your name," she said strictly. Juliet turned and was scared. She had a suit on with a short skirt. On the side of her breast was a pinned metal name badge that read "Officer Sue" and she wore a cap but noticable had dark brown hair stretched back into a bun.
"Juliet," said Juliet.
"Juliet who," asked Officer Sue, appearing not so pleased. She had a strict voice and was approaching her.
"Juliet Baylor," responded Juliet. Officer Sue nodded as she approached. She took out what appeared to be a knife and Juliet's heart skipped, but the fear was short lived because Sue cut off the ziptie that was fastening her hands together. The officer put away the knife. Juliet turned her head to see the other Officer, a blonde girl who was typing on a computer. Juliet also noticed the recognizable set up from a common prison: a measuring poster against the wall and a camera at the side. Looked like she was going to get some pictures taken she would die to keep away from her family.
Officer Sue was still behind her and took her wrist and pulled her to the far right corner.
"What crime did you commit?" asked Officer Sue as she led Juliet into a box that seemed to be a black rectangle of tape on the floor about a meter by two meters.
"Uh, we didn't pay for a meal at a restaurant," said Juliet, in fear what was going on.
Officer Sue seemed to be fighting back a smile.
"Macy, note suspect appears to admit guilt," she said.
NO! She didn't realize that was a trick question
