Gavin had an idea one day. After dinner Cassidy caught Gavin making some rough drawings on a piece of paper he borrowed from one of the kids binders while they finished some last minute home work before bed. All Cassidy could see was a box that stood 7ft tall, was 3'X3' square and had some odd shaped around it and a rough layout of their garage surrounding it with some wires and such sprinkled throughout it.
Gavin smiled as he gave his wife a wink and a chuckle and began to make a list of materials that he would need to make it. Kids sports and Scout trips took up both their free time over the next couple weeks but a growing pile of material and boxes was getting bigger by the week in the unused portion of the garage by their drink fridge.
Chrissy, Vanessa and their kids dropped off Jacob and Zack and picked up Cassidy to go out to the zoo for the day leaving the guys at home with Gavin. All three kissed their spouses goodbye and waved. When the mini van turned into to the street the guys looked at each other and got to work.
Gavin was handy but for what he had been in mind he needed some help. Saw horses were on place and the sounds of electric saws, drills and some soldering all took place over the next several hours. By the time the girls got back the garage door was closed and the smell of the grill was clearly evident, where all of them found the guys relaxing. Everyone enjoyed a nice meal the guys all prepared.
Around 9:00pm after a long day everyone kissed and hugged good night and went home leaving Gavin and Cassidy to themselves. Cassidy asked what they all were working on today to which Gavin kissed her deeply on the lips and motioned for her to follow him up into their bed room.
Once there Gavin showed her their large walk in closet, that Cassidy had just de-cluttered and saw that it had some how shrunk in size, and was only about 3/4 of what it once was. Hidden along the side was a small door that when opened revealed a small control room with two comfortable office chairs and a three tiered bank of monitors and a small desk top computer that ran it all.
Gavin pulled out a chair and motioned for Cassidy to sit down and take a seat. Gavin sat in the other seat and fired up the computer. He clicked on a video app on the desk top and pulled up six different camera angles. Three of them were outside of a coffin like structure that was carpeted that stood against their outer wall of their garage away from receiving area side of the house. It's one side was built into the wall but the remaining sides each had a 3" hole slightly below waist level that had the ability to open up like a small pull out drawer, which was covered by a black silk cloth.
