She blinked her eyes, unable to fully comprehend what she was looking at. Yet there they were. The scene was undeniable. A man and a woman, lying on a couple of lounge chairs, quietly reading, and wearing nothing but hats. Absolutely nothing.
She knew she should have looked away, but she couldn't. The woman's full breasts glistened in the sun, each resting comfortably, sloping toward their respective sides of her body. Her sex was completely shaved. And naked. Just like her partner. His flaccid penis cradled between his partially opened thighs.
"Excuse me."
The polite voice from behind snapped her back to reality. "Oh, I'm so sorry. I was... um..."
"I know," the young woman smiled. "This is the busiest we've ever seen it here. It's almost impossible to find a chair."
Kate nodded dumbly, trying not to stare directly at her breasts.
"If you're alone, there's one over there on the other side of my husband." She pointed down the path and to the left. Kate spotted the open lounge chair, thanked the woman, and scurried away as quickly as she could. The woman took the chair on the opposite side of the smiling young man, handing him a drink as she did.
Kate had to navigate through a small maze of chairs, each occupied by a naked or topless body. And not one person seemed to take notice that she was passing by. No one acknowledged her or tried to hide themselves. Gratefully, she arrived at the open seat where she dropped her bag, quickly laid out a towel, and sat down.
She lay down and stared at the cloudless sky, trying to control her breath and gather her rushing thoughts.
She wondered why she hadn't enough of her wits about her to simply turn around and go back to her room when she realized what she was seeing. She contemplated leaving but she knew that would be too obvious at the moment. She looked to her left, away from the dozens of chairs arranged to her right, wondering if there might have been a more discreet exit path. There was not. The sand was covered with a growth of low scrubby bushes that would have been painful to walk through.Β With little other option, she sat up, reached into her bag, and pulled out her water bottle and the first book she touched.
The cool water was refreshing. As she sipped it, she allowed herself a quick peek at the scene next to her. She had never seen anything like it. They all seemed so comfortable. And she still couldn't quite get over the fact that the rest of them weren't ogling one another. She was suddenly aware that she was the only one who looked out of place, both dressed and looking around.
She laid back on the chair, found the bookmarked page, and stared blankly at the type. The book served as little more than a prop. She was just trying to fit in. Of course, she knew that she did not. Her bathing suit was daring by her standards. It was the only two-piece suit she had ever owned. Her small white coverup was still in place, too. She took some small comfort in the fact that no one else seemed to be paying attention to anyone, including her. She tried to focus her concentration on the page in front of her.
"She stood in front of him. Trembling. Though not from fear. It was something else. Something she wasn't sure she had ever felt before. His smirk both irritated and excited her somehow. He was so damn cocky."
She couldn't believe this was the book she grabbed. She thought about exchanging it for another but realized she would have to sit up and draw attention to herself to do that.
"'Go on' She could hear the sneer in his voice as his eyes dropped from her face to her chest.
The sooner she did it, the sooner it would be over. She grabbed the top button on her blouse and opened it quickly. He stopped her before she could reach the second.
"Slowly. Very slowly."
She wasn't sure why she needed to obey his instructions, but she did. She took the second button more deliberately, taking her time as she forced it through the buttonhole. She liked the look on his face. The smirk was gone and he seemed to notice even the slightest of her movements. She tried to keep the fabric closed as she worked the third button free, but her breasts pushed their way forward, revealing her cleavage.
She watched him now, just as attentively as he was watching her. His lips were slightly parted and his tongue mindlessly flicked across the top one. His breathing seemed to be getting deeper. As she touched the fourth button with her fingertip she thought she could see a bulge growing in his lap.
When she looked back to his face he was staring at her. The smirk was back.
He slid his hand up his thigh and squeezed himself through his overpriced slacks.
'Yeah, it's getting hard. Does that turn you on?'
The knock at the door interrupted her answer. 'Alex, they're waiting in conference room 1'. Mallory's voice was impatient. She had already called for him twice.
'When I'm ready!' he growled, turning his attention back to her.
'What did you do? I didn't tell you to button up. Let me see.'
She quickly pulled the fabric open again, revealing her cleavage. She knew she was blushing, and that the pale skin of her breasts was beginning to glow a muted pink for him.
His smirk had grown into something that looked more like a sneer now. 'You know you will pay for that.'"
Kate glanced around. Still, no one seemed to notice her. Somehow the couple next to her had moved away, and another couple had taken their place. They were slightly older, perhaps late 50's, and like nearly everyone else, they were naked and seemingly disinterested in their fellow sunbathers. Kate did notice that the man's penis was thicker than the younger man's who had been there earlier. And since it was thicker than Mickey's it was the biggest she'd ever seen in her limited, sheltered life.
"She felt a slight catch in her throat, wondering what her punishment might be. This was her first experience in Alex's office. Until today, she wasn't sure that he knew she existed. He was magnetic. When he entered a room you sensed him, even if he was out of eyesight. She had watched him as he hypnotized potential clients, closing multimillion-dollar deals with little more than a smile and deep, penetrating gaze. It was that gaze, and a report that was 15 minutes late a week ago, that brought her here today. Her ex hated him. It took no more than a quick handshake and a hello at last year's Christmas party to drive him to that conclusion. It was the first step that led to them eventually breaking up.
'Good girl,' he smiled as she reached the last button. 'Now turn around and take it off.'
She obeyed, revealing her shoulders and back to her boss's boss.
