Madeleine was hooked, ever since her first solo tryst in the moonlight, initially a vacation away from a busy and fast paced semester, now her days were fixated on planning and thinking about her nightly escapades. Each night she would go further out, each step driven by arousal and excitement. She had done it often enough that she had developed a system of using landmarks, learning the trees, bushes and general outlines in the land throughout the sprawling ranch.
Despite her solo adventures, she would still meet and spend time with Amy during the day, but her focus was on the time, counting down until nightfall when she would part ways. Waiting till the entire ranch was still and no lights appeared in the windows. She would venture out, completely nude, and exploring the nature around the dark and expansive space. Often exploring to a point until her fear overwhelmed her curiosity and arousal causing her to rush back to the safety of the guest house where she would immediately touch herself and relieve her pent-up tension and excitement of her escapades.
Tonight was different, however. Madeleine felt braver, more daring, possibly even a little reckless. She had spent the entire day exploring the boundaries of the ranch on foot, clothed, and had noticed a narrow path that led to the main highway. The thought of a passerby seeing her or heck, even catching her brought a new level of excitement that stuck with her.
Many hours after the sun had dipped under the horizon, she had already ventured out. Her figure standing idly under the same bright moon, her only companion that spotlighted her nude body each night.
"I can't believe I'm actually doing this,"
Her heart racing as her eyes tracked a path to the road. Standing nude in the silver glow, totally alone and isolated again. Madeleine looked back toward the house far behind her, a small speck of light in the vast darkness and wonder of nature.
With a deep inhale, she ventured down the path. The soft ground flanked on both sides by ankle height grass, her way forward only visible from the shimmering moonlight that shone bright in the sky above her. Despite the darkness, her eyes have become accustomed following her series of walks throughout the night, only finding issues with her vision if any surprise headlights rounded the corner, but duckling herself under the cover of grass kept the blindness to a minimum.
"I'm really far now!"
The words escaped her lips with glee complimented by a slight wave of goosebumps that clambered down her back and along her spine. For a moment she looked down to orient herself and ensure that she wasn't walking on anything hazardous, but as she did she caught sight of her skin's glow from the moon above her, her body a brilliant alabaster only broken by shadowy streaks cast by her generous breasts, the dip from her navel, and the trace of her own head as she tilted it down.
She continued walking down the path, the occasional soft pebble and stone crunching against her bare feet, a feeling she initially found uncomfortable but soon came to appreciate.
Approaching the main pavement, she could hear the distant echo of cars driving by, occasionally she would catch the trail of light broken apart by the trees that lined parallel with the highway.
She continued walking but found herself crouching lower, seeing the gap of land between the road and the field grow smaller as she continued down.
"Looks like only a couple cars come through here"
She carefully made her way to the trees, getting a closer look at how far it goes and allowing her to judge which directions to look down.
"Oh shit!" Yelping as she jumped back to the taller grass in the field, she clambered down, seeing headlights suddenly appear on the horizon. Her knees hitting soft grass first as she fell forward, she lay on her stomach, waiting to hear the car pass. Moments after she rolled her body around, laying on her back to survey the rest of her body was okay. With a content sigh, she rubbed off any dirt that stuck on her knees as she watched the tail lights disappear through trees.
"Oh my god"
Letting out a long exhale, she grinned imagining if the driver caught a peek of the nude girl looking from the trees.
"Would have probably thought I was a ghost or something." She giggled, her humor staving off the feelings of arousal from her close call.
After catching her breath, she slowly stood back up.
Looking out at the tree line, ensuring there was no longer any oncoming traffic she walked back towards the rows of thin and narrow birch trees, ready to run if needed.
There she looked on, letting the moon illuminate the two lane highway that snaked in front of her. She observed the field on the other side of the highway. Noting the lack of trees or any hills. The land across was simply a large expanse of grass with a faint silhouette of a fence outlined in the distance.
Taking a moment, she crouched from beside the tree. Looking around, her thumb rubbing her pointer finger and her tongue tucked between her front teeth as she contemplated her next move. Would she dare cross the road and into completely unknown land? She had always stayed within the boundaries of the ranch but never crossed the winding lane that acted like a border all around.
"I've already come out so far."
"It would be fun even getting further out."
"I should head back, it would probably take me too long to head back."
"I haven't even found anything cool yet"
"Maybe just head out for 10 minutes?"
Her mind was a mess, her desire and need for excitement was conflicted with the risk. Her eyes darting left and right to ensure she was still alone or out of view of any cars as she sat debating between herself.
"Come on, you've come this far."
"Just a little further, just to see what's out there."
Her heartbeat echoing in her ears, she looked back one last time, the ranch now barely visible through the dense foliage. One hand absentmindedly drifted towards her left breast, her fingers easily finding the raised nipple after being out in the open air.
"Here goes nothing,"
With slow steps, she made her way. Her feet now touching the rough and cold asphalt.
She quickly scanned for any passing cars. The coast appeared to be clear, at least for the moment. Her pulse quickened as she decided in that instant to cross, away from the safety of the ranch and from the lined perimeter of trees. Her bare feet making no sound as she gently padded across the highway.
Making her way across, she tried to crouched low but her faint form prancing across the paved lane was visible due to the stark contrast of her nude figure against the darkness of the fields and the asphalt.
"Holy shit holy shit! She quietly exclaimed with glee, making it across the road and realizing that she has set a new record for herself. There she stood in the field amidst a field of short grass, the ranch on the other side.
"I must be like, 2-3 miles away or something."
She roughly estimated her distance based on how long she had been walking. Upon the realization she felt a wave of trembles, excited at her milestone. Shivering slightly she observed around her and realized she was standing close to the highway without nearby cover. With a slight yelp, she gently knelt and crouched about 20 feet away from the pavement, hoping to get some distance incase another car drove by.
She noted how the grass here was softer and damper than the ones nearby the ranch. Taking a moment she adjusted herself from a kneeling position to laying on her back in the grass, feeling the soft bristles of the vegetation as they surrounded her nude form.
