The first time that Jade caught the eye of Hunter was on the running trails that cover the hills above the suburban town where Jade is a 21 year old Au Pair for the Larkins. Jade was assigned to look after the two Larkin kids. A young boy and his little sister. Hunter was the coach of the young boys soccer team. Dropping the boy off for practice is when Jade first saw Hunter. It was 2021, which meant that being outside and running, the social norm was that masks were not required. But it was still common for many people to still were masks in casual public settings. While the pandemic raised all hell for media to campaign fear and promote social distancing protocols, much of the town was moderately relaxed, with a "you do you" vibe, and no one forced anyone to subscribe to any policy or shame anyones choice regarding masks. Hunter, being the coach, did not wear a mask while performing his duties which required running and heavy breathing. It made sense to the parents, and many of the kids also went on playing without masks.
Meanwhile, a majority of parents whom stood or sat with each other socializing and watching the kid's soccer matches would wear masks and gathered at a comfortable distance from one another. Jade was amongst the masked crowd, hiding behind a bulky mask that covered half of her face. She did sometimes participate in socializing and was a welcomed member of the parental squad, but it was not a situation in which she felt like dressing up. Depending on the weather, she would be covered up in sweats, or on a hot day wear a long sleeve shirt covering all her skin and a skirt that went down to the ankles. Nothing fancy. She had seen the in-shape coach break a sweat on the field but had never spoken with him. He kept his focus on the kids and only engaged with parents when the approached him. He was clearly passionate with the game and loved coaching soccer.

On her days off, Jade liked to run. Her runner's wardrobe compliments her body well. A white sports bra with plenty of openness to let her C cups breathe. Her pierced navel sparkled drawing attention to her tanned-hazel and skinny belly. Her shorts were a bright orange lightweight fabric with slits cut on each side permitting a view of the skin where her bronzed thighs meet her cheeks. From the right angles, Jade could show a youthful bubble butt curve dropping below the trim of her shorts. For Jade, running is a freeing activity. She allows herself to be liberated from a masks when working the trails, which have virtually no traffic since the anti-virus campaign went into effect. She can often get a full run in without ever seeing another human. Jade has been an Au Pair for over a year now and, aside from the Larkin family, does not have much of a social life. Back home she had friends and lovers, and now she sometimes gets homesick or lonely. Her runs help balance the loneliness, but she still had womanly desires left unfulfilled by a lack of physical attention.
The first time Jade had caught the eye of Hunter was on the running trails. He ran every day, attacking all the surrounding trails he made a point to know all the spots. He knew where the best look-out vistas were that showed paint worthy views of the valley, he knew all the back trails that led to beautiful lakes and ponds. He even knew of a lesser known trail that ends under an oak tree where a bench overlooks a field of lavender. The trail to the oak tree was a long one that did have many crossroads connecting to other trails in the circuit and no signs including it on the map. It was like a secret locals only trail. But someone else did know of its existence.
