Bruno Hancock hadn't been down this road in years. There were no signs of life now that both Federal Agent Roxie Durbin's car and the hitman Raoul's ride had been towed away by the FBI right before dawn. Only an abandoned ATV belonging to the late Darryl Needy lay hidden in the brush hidden out of sight for the boys to find eventually.
Right now, they had more pressing business dealing with quick repairs before any bankers came out to access the property again. Margo Needy was stressed out by the fact that tomorrow morning she was meeting with the board of directors at Wildwood Federal. Should they ask for a tour as a lasting impression, it could get ugly. It was not likely that they would, but one never knows.
Jamming to the Eagles song Hotel California, Bruno was actually happy his boys wanted him to pop out, even though he was losing money when he should be cutting down trees right now. What was so important that it couldn't wait he still hadn't figured out. Until now!
Pulling around the final turn leading up to Margo's valley home Bruno got a look at three police cars sitting with flat tires and bullet holes. "What the hell happened here?" Eric Crowe's dog Studly now tied up after bonding with Margo's new pet mountain lion Regis alerted the boys of a new visitor.
"Why the hades would Coot Donnelly leave his cars out here like this? This is half of his fleet." Parking beside his son Brian's truck, Bruno stepped down on Margo territory and took a slow stroll to check out the vehicles up close. "This is not buckshot. Looks more like military issue to me. AK-47 style, maybe."
"Good morning."
Bruno heard a magical voice, one that drew his attention away from looking in through the car windows and toward the porch. Standing out front with her hands in her back pockets was the owner of the property herself, the beautiful but weary Margo Needy. Blue jeans so tight her cameltoe wanted to step out of her oasis. A white camisole with spaghetti straps covered her massive bosom, nipples shredding the thin fabric, areola shining through. Ankle boots and her white collar topped off her beauty. It felt nice to wear clothing again. No master this week. This was all Margo!
"Ms. Margo Needy!" Bruno grinned and steeped to the bottom of the stairs to her lengthy porch. "Been a while! If I remember right, I only caught a brief glimpse of you the last time I was out here."
"I remember. It was only to get paid for cutting down trees. Darryl answered the door, I was rather busy at the time."
"I seem to recall you moaning." He laughed! "Sorry to hear about Darryl. Long overdue I reckon."
"Thank you. Brian and Jeffrey are out at the garage helping move things around while waiting for you to get here." She pushed Studly away, her cleavage bursting as she bent forward. Bruno was struggling already to avoid a hard on from hell. He knew one thing, Brian needed to set him up with her soon. Stroking his long brown beard Bruno clenched his teeth just hoping her tits fell out. No such luck!
"Care to come inside?"
"I would never pass that up." He chuckled with a bright ivory grin.
"You sound just like your boys." She giggled! "I meant my home."
"Hard not to think dirty around you Margo. No offense!"
"None taken...ever! I prefer it when a man speaks his mind."
"In that case I'm undressing you with my eyes right here and now."
"Everyone does. You should have been here most of the month. I've only worn something maybe five times. The rest I was totally naked."
"Why start up again now?"
"Necessity, I'm afraid. Brian mentioned asking for your help. As you can see, we had some excitement out here last night. So, when he mentioned you, I felt maybe we needed to talk first. About all of... this."
"What did happen out here? It looks like a warzone."
"It was. I believe I should first and foremost ask you for discretion. What I tell you can create a whole lot of problems for me." She lured him indoors, he also nudging Studly aside until he could close the door.
"Please take a seat. I'd say take your boots off and stay a while, but I just swept up wood shards from the ceiling. There could still be a few splinters."
"Someone shooting guns in the house?" He checked out the hole in the ceiling. Luckily, this portion of the house didn't have a bedroom above it, only a vaulted ceiling over the living room.
"You are friends with Sheriff Donnelly if I heard correctly." She sat down sideways on her cushy couch, patting the cushion next to her to take a seat.
"Known each other quite a spell. So, what did he get mixed up in?"
"If you are a true friend, I ask you to never speak of this. Coot chose to leave his cars out here to avoid anyone asking questions. He plans on towing them after dark."
"You can trust me."
"Good! It's going to be hard enough keeping my boys quiet. At any rate, we somehow got mixed up in a witness protection fiasco. The FBI were out here to do some cleanup work and salvage a bad situation. Good people... died here last night. I'm trying to get funded to turn my home into a bed & breakfast but if it becomes known a massacre occurred out here that dream will die with them."
"Silence is golden. My boys were in the middle of this?"
"Yes! They do live here, well Jeffrey parttime. Just so you know, Brian was pivotal in saving us all. He used tranquilizer guns to take down our hostage situation. He deserves a proud poppa moment Mister Hancock."
"Bruno!"
"So, masculine." She winked! "No one was hurt out of those live here, but a couple of Coot's deputies were wounded. There was a hitman out here which shot up the cars and the exterior of my home. Believe it or not an FBI Field Chief himself betrayed his people; it was he that Brian shot. The informant that was under protection stopped the Chief from killing any of us. I won't go into further details.
"Another reason I ask you to apply caution is because I have a number of teenagers out here. Many of their parents don't know. I realize I'm being selfish, that they do have a right to know everything, but I just don't want trouble like being sued for endangerment. The kids all stand together in keeping quiet, but someday we both know someone will slip up. Fingers crossed is all we can hope for."
"That's some crazy shit. You're right, their parents do need to know. My advice, have Coot go talk to them. None of this sounds like it's your fault."
"Really, it's not. But Wildwood knows my reputation, Bruno. It's going to be a miracle if I can get a loan approved or permits granted to build my future. I'm nearly broke and if I'm being honest, I'm terrified of losing everything Darryl built for us."
"Right! I get that. If there's anything I can do just ask."
"Thank you, Bruno. I will be naked the next time you visit. I promise." She giggled. "Now just isn't the time." Speaking of visitor Kimberly Hines came downstairs having slept in while everyone else was outside cleaning up. Coming downstairs in a short navy-blue t-shirt swiped from Eric Crowe she rubbed her eyes and stepped up behind Margo and leaned over to hug her.
"Where is everybody?" Bruno seeing the cute blonde nodded at her, Kim in turn fluttered her fingertips.
"Out in the parking barn. They are building a bedroom for Jenna and Lily. You, if you wish to move out here. Lily can give you the details."
"I can come live here too?" She squealed and raced around the couch to hug Margo properly. In leaning in Bruno saw Kim's bare butt shining out from underneath her shirt. Nice clam! No underwear of course! Bruno might just need to help with repairs the next week or so just to see some skin. "I have to go talk to Lily." She darted from Margo toward the French doors.
"OH! Kimberly?" Margo halted her.
"Yes?"
"Walk across the yard please. Regis is lying out back in the sunlight, let's not startle him."
