Chapter Two
THE EARLY RUNS
"I've been planning your first adventure," Donna said at our Wednesday lunch date. The Racoon Diner was busy with businesspeople, professors from the local college, and students. It was the first time I'd seen her since waking up in my own bed Monday morning and wondering how I got there. I'd been late to work at the real estate office.
"I was thinking something small. A streak though the park early in the morning," I suggested.
"That would be a good start, I suppose, but remember that each task must escalate," Donna mentioned.
"Escalate?" I asked.
"I've been reading the stories you sent me. In every version, the heroine is pushed by her blackmailer to more extreme challenges. Isn't that true? Name one story where that doesn't happen."
"I guess it does happen in all of them," I uncomfortably realized. "But I don't want to get crazy."
"Honey, you gave me this job. You told me you need to be pushed, and pushed, and then pushed again, and that's what I'm going to do," Donna insisted. "You gave me the power over you and I'm going to use it."
"How far are we talking about?" I asked.
"I won't tell you that now. It's not part of the game. Which you already know. This is your fantasy, and I'm playing by your rules."
I was not terribly pleased with what Donna was saying, but assumed it was just a tactic to motivate me. We talked about the park and arranged to meet.

We picked an early Friday morning, an hour before dawn. Only hardcore joggers would be there. On the one hand, it was only a mile from my apartment. On the other hand, people I knew sometimes did runs or worked out on the trailside exercise equipment. I would need to be watchful.
Donna drove. She was dressed. I was already naked in the passenger seat, my clothes lying on the floor behind me. I ducked down so other drivers wouldn't see my bare breasts. It was very embarrassing, and in a strange way, thrilling. Like I had always imagined. I realized this was something I never would have done on my own.
"Now remember, you only need to go from the south entrance to the north entrance," Donna said. "There are plenty of trees and bushes to hide behind if you need them. I'll be waiting just outside the gate with your clothes."
"This is so scary. Until now, I didn't really think I'd be doing this," I replied.
"That's what you have me for, isn't it? Now get ready."
We stopped just outside the south entrance, a stone arch lit by two lampposts. If there was anyone on the sidewalk, they'd see me. I looked out the window, hesitant to get out of the car.
"Maybe I should take my sweater, just in case?" I suggested.
"No, nothing. Now get going," Donna urged.
"Donna, I think I've changed my mind. This isn't--"
"You are doing it. Now get out of the car," she demanded.
I hesitantly stepped out on the sidewalk, both hands covering my perky breasts. Donna pulled the door closed. A brief wave of panic hit me. I turned around and reached to reopen the door. Donna smiled, having anticipated my lack of resolve. I heard the door lock as I desperately pulled on the handle. The car pulled away from the curb, leaving me standing there, completely naked. I ran into the park, separated from my clothes. Just like in the stories.
Well, here I was, at last. My dream. A really frightening, crazy dream. Outdoors. In public. Totally nude! The cool morning air felt good. The light breeze caressing my trimmed kitty was stimulating. The feeling was unbelievable. Everything I ever hoped it would be. A strong sense of liberation, sensuality, vulnerability, and danger. Why had I waited so long to do this? I almost wanted to touch myself down there but decided to get on with the mission. A cement path meandered through the middle of the park, crossed by several other paths. Trees loomed all around me, and then the park opened up for flag-football and soccer fields. There was enough light from the occasional lamppost to see if the coast was clear.
A jogger! I nearly panicked, jumping off the path into bushes. It took several moments for him to run by while I held my breath. I looked out again. Was there anyone else? I couldn't stay in the bushes all night, it would be dawn in another thirty minutes. I sucked up my courage and made a run through the open grass fields, imagining it was day and sports teams were playing. Hundreds of young men and spectators would be looking at me! Boy, would they be shocked! Just thinking about the idea was arousing, but there was no time to dwell on it.
I reached the trees on the other side. Almost there, I thought, but then I saw more people. Two seniors, a gray-haired old man and a short, silver-haired woman, were walking their small dogs. I hid behind a wooden bench waiting for them to pass, and to my utter dismay, they stopped and sat down. Oh, my God, how long would they be there? The dogs discovered me and started sniffing as I tried to push them away. The two old folks were talking about their grandchildren, possible trips together, and what medicines they were taking. They seemed to be taking forever. I was getting very worried about the time.
"Watching the dawn from here is so lovely, isn't it, my dear?" the woman suddenly declared. "I enjoy our strolls so much."
"Yes, Martha, let's watch the park come alive today," he replied. "We'll just sit here until breakfast." They kissed.
You can imagine my reaction. How could it get worse? It couldn't. With no other options, I held my breath, crawled a few feet, and jumped up, running like hell. The dogs started barking but were held in check by their leashes. I assume the old couple saw me, but I don't know, because I never looked back. They probably watched my cute little butt disappear into the darkness.
I saw the north entrance up ahead in the shadowy light, and more trouble. Cops! They must be looking for me! I dropped down behind a slender trash can, hardly any cover at all, thinking I could try for the west entrance instead. Or backtrack the way I came. But Donna wouldn't be there. It was awful. Then I realized the cops weren't looking for anyone, just standing around drinking coffee. After ten minutes, they wandered off in different directions. It was now dawn. I saw sunlight breaking over the hills to the east. I ran the last fifty yards and out the gate, not caring who saw me.
There was no car. Donna wasn't there.
I sat down on the sidewalk next to the brick wall and started to cry, and then got hold of myself. It was only a mile to my apartment, and I was a good runner. Even barefoot, I could do it in fifteen minutes. I stood up and got going, staying close to the wall, holding my breasts so they wouldn't jiggle too much. Dawn broke in all its glory, and I was running naked through the city. A driver slowed to look at me. Another honked. A UPS delivery man stepping out of his van was so shocked he dropped his packages. Thank God no one tried to stop me, it was so embarrassing.
Fortune finally smiled on me. After a few minutes, I saw Donna's car up ahead, stopped at the corner. I waved, but the car started moving. Turning in the wrong direction. Though I didn't want to call attention to myself, I shouted for her. Shouted as loud as I could. The car stopped and the door opened.
"Finally, I've been looking everywhere for you," Donna said, heading back to her house. "What happened?"
"I got trapped behind a bench by old people reminiscing," I explained. "I was hunched down on the grass being licked by their dogs. Hearing all about their endless infirmities was really boring."
"We'll need to make backup plans for when we get separated," Donna suggested.
"I don't know if I want to do this again," I replied.
"It's too early to give up after all the work we've put in. Wasn't it exciting?"
"Yes, I suppose so. I was getting turned on," I admitted.
"The next mission will be better planned, you'll see," Donna assured me.
"I guess that's okay," I reluctantly agreed, looking in the backseat. "Hey, where are my clothes?"
"When I got out to look for you, I thought it was better to lock them in the trunk," Donna answered. "It wouldn't be good to have them stolen."
"Let's get them out," I said, sitting next to her nude.
"We'll be home soon, have patience," she replied, taking a long look at me.

"Okay, mission number two, the lake," Donna said while we sat at my kitchen table. "This should be an easy one."
"The lake can get crowded," I feared.
"It will be late at night, after the dinner hour is over. Most people will be headed back to their cars. We'll position you behind Hanson's Eatery, dash along the beach, and go out on the pier. I'll be in a rowboat waiting for you. You remember my dad. He and I went fishing on the lake all the time, so it's no big deal."
"Is there any swimming involved? The water can get very cold," I said.
