Tommy was the youngest of four children (two brothers and a sister) to his parents, Ed and Lucy. They lived in a small Midwestern town with not much money so they often made due with what they had. Being the youngest, Tommy got hand-me-down clothes and toys. He was constantly teased by his three older siblings. But Tommy and his family got along well despite it all.
Ed was a travelling salesman for a well-known Midwest shoe company so he was home very little, once a week, sometimes once a month. This played with Tommy's emotions as he adored his father. When home, he'd take Tommy fishing or to a baseball game when possible. This past year, however, was a different story. Ed's boss asked him to do more travelling because two of his colleagues had recently retired, thus forcing the company to rely on him more. It wasn't fair. The company knew it. Ed certainly knew it. But,it was either pick up more slack or starve, and Ed refused to let his wife of 17 years and kids go without the bare necessities.
Tommy had just turned 18 a month earlier. A good student and athlete, he'd been applying to colleges around the country in the hopes of obtaining a scholarship. One California school granted him a partial athletic-academic scholarship. It was partial in that he'd be responsible for 25 percent of his tuition and books. The rest was covered by the scholarship. Tommy was thrilled. Even if he did have to pay part of his education he knew he was on his way to success now.
Tommy excelled in basketball and baseball. In the fall, he'd hoped to latch on to both college teams. He was a small forward in basketball and a center fielder in baseball so he had power, speed and agility. Important qualities in all aspects of life.
Tommy stood 6'3" and weighed 225 pounds. His dark brown hair and eyes were a stark contrast to his past white skin and his large muscular frame. He towered over his mom who was a full foot shorter than her baby boy. No matter to her, though. She was very proud of all of her children. She loved them to death!
With just one month left in his high school career Tommy was excited about college, already thinking of where he'd live. He'd arranged to rent a room from a nice older couple just a mile from campus so he wouldn't have to contend with traffic or running late to school. He was ecstatic to be going to college but, understandably, nervous to be leaving home. Tommy had never set foot outside his home state. The family simply couldn't afford to take vacations or send the kids on school trips.
The young jock came home from school as usual one day and gave his stay-at-home mom his usual peck on the cheek to greet her. They talked about how his day at school went and how her day at home was. It was the usual mother-son banter. But, that's where the usual stops and the unusual and the very naughty begins...
