* * *
As I lay in bed relaxing, Tom was downstairs watching the NBA playoff games and I noticed the date, May 20, and a smile came to my face as my mind drifted back some 20 years ago...
My friend, Debbie, and I had been 'Best Friends Forever,' since the first grade. Debbie was more outgoing and popular than I was, since she had an older sister, Sally, to be her mentor. I was more of a 'tomboy' involved in sports as I played basketball and barrel raced. I was an only child and shy. Debbie and I weren't alike, but she was more like a sister that I never had. Debbie was always the adventurous one, daring me to keep up with her antics.
Debbie and I were the oldest in our class. We were held back by our parents for different reasons. I was a military child and Dad ended his tour of duty in February. It was my parents' opinion that I be held back a year to adjust to the new civilian environment. I received an extra year of kindergarten and was seven when I started the first grade.
Debbie was held back, like her sister, for social and maturity reasons. She was seven in the first grade, too.
When we were in the eighth grade, Debbie's sister, Sally, was the senior class president, head cheerleader, annual queen, homecoming queen, prom queen, and just about anything else she wanted to be. Debbie was following in Sally's footsteps—not quite as tall as Sally, but every bit the same 'knock-out' her older sister was!
Now it was our turn, the date was May 20th, the last night of our junior year in high school—the seniors graduated the following night, so we were about to become the new senior class.
Debbie and I just turned 18. Debbie's birthday was May 10th and mine was May 18th.
While we were talking in Debbie's room, Sally knocked on the door and entered. She came home, not for the high school graduation, but to tell her parents she and Steve, had gotten engaged. They'd met at Central their freshman year and had dated ever since, except for a few breaks along the way. Sally was Central's head cheerleader and Steve was the star quarterback and captain of the football team. They were planning on getting married in the spring after they graduated from college.
Sally said, "Baby Sis, and my adopted baby Sis, since you both just turned 18, I thought I'd give your graduation presents a year early and my advice regarding guys," as she handed us a handful of condoms.
Sally continued, "Sometime during your senior year some guy is going to pick your cherry, and when he does, you both make sure he uses one of these," as she held up a condom. "He'll tell you, 'Let me fuck you bareback, I promise I'll pull out', but he is lying to you. He has no intentions of pulling his cock out of your sweet pussy when he cums."
Debbie asked Sally, "Did it happen to you?"
Sally just grinned, adding, "Homecoming, my senior year."
I said, "OMG, it wasn't Steve?"
Debbie asked, "Who Sis? Who was it?"
Sally laughed, "Tom Wilson."
I looked puzzled, "Tom Wilson? Who was he?"
Sally laughed, "He was the star quarterback and was supposed to be this big college stud, but he was a flop in more ways than one!"
Debbie was curious, "Tell us Sis—tell us about it... Please?"
Sally laughed again, "OK, I was homecoming queen and head cheerleader, and Tom was 'THE' guy—or we all thought he was. We had started dating our junior year in high school...
"Homecoming night we planned to fuck after the dance out at the lake. Shit, the SOB didn't even get me turned on till he was trying to stick his little dick inside me. I gave him a condom and told him 'to use it,' but I believed him when he told me 'he'd pull out,' but like I told you both, they won't do it. I'll bet he didn't last a minute when he shot his load. So much for my first time."
Debbie laughed, "OK Sis, since you had been fucked, who else fucked you?"
Sally answered, "You nosy little bitch! But to cure your curiosity, it was such a bad experience I wasn't fucked again till my freshman year at Central."
I asked, "Steve?"
Sally grinned, "Yes, and it was everything it was meant to be."
Debbie chimed in, "So any others than Tom Wilson and Steve?"
Sally answered her, "For me to know, and you to figure out!"
Debbie laughed, "Dang Sis, I never thought you'd fucked anyone but Steve—please Sis, who else?"
Sally replied, "OK, I've had two more—four in all, not telling you anymore."
Sally changed the subject back to us. "Now listen to me. Make them use condoms, learn the rhythm method, and when you are sure of "the guy," get on the pill. Use all three and don't get knocked up."
I asked, "What about the Church and the Pope? Condoms are banned from our beliefs."
Sally immediately shouted, "Fuck the Pope! It isn't him that'll get knocked up! Hey, don't get me wrong, I'm as good a Catholic girl as the next one, but I don't believe in some of the Pope's decisions. Not using condoms to prevent getting knocked up is one of them. So you both USE them!"
A knock came on the door and there stood Steve, "What are y'all doing?"
Sally answered, "Just having some big sis time with my baby sis. You ready to go to town?"
Steve said "Yes," and looked at us. "Y'all want to tag along?"
Debbie and I both said, "Sure," at the same time.
We all got into Steve's car and headed toward the Dairy Queen.
Steve pulled in next to several of our classmates who were just hanging out. As Sally got out, in her tight shorts and t-shirt, David, who took Debbie to the prom, said, "Dang Deb, I wish you had the looks and were built like your sis!"
Everyone laughed as Debbie introduced Steve and Sally. The guys wanted to talk football to Steve since he was a 'real college player,' something that had been lacking in our school and community for a couple years now. Steve was telling everyone about football at Central when a pickup pulled in near where we were standing and two really good-looking guys got out and headed toward the Dairy Queen order window.
Sally asked, "WHO are those guys?"
David replied, "That's Tom Sanders and John Williams—the football player and wrestler who got full athletic scholarships to State—they were seniors when we were sophomores."
I replied, "I remember them now—they never gave us the time of day."
Steve asked, "State, huh?"
David replied, "Yes, Sanders NEVER played any last year, but Williams wrestled quite a few matches as a freshman."
Steve quickly added, "Playing big time college football is different than individual sports. A new assistant coach at Central, Coach Peterson, coached at State last season. "Coach Pete told us, 'State is going to surprise people this season in the conference. Coach Lewis has put together some young talent and groomed them for this fall like you groom a thoroughbred colt before you race him.'
"Pete went on about this one special kid—a freshman tight end, tough as boot leather, fast, good hands, and was blessed with that rare gift of speed, quickness, and strength. The kid's only negatives were that he has a quick temper and gets too jacked up before a game. They couldn't figure out where they wanted to play him till late in the fall and most of the staff wanted Lewis to take his red shirt off and let him play the last three games of the season, but he wouldn't do it."
Steve added, "I wonder if he is that kid?"
Jimmy, who played football and wrestled along with David, said, "Sure sounds like Tom—made everyone's All-State team and could have gone to 'THE' University."
Steve asked, "You know him?"
Jimmy said, "Yep, worked in the mines with him last summer."
About that time, Tom and John were heading back to the truck and Jimmy hollered at them, "Hey Sanders, you and John boy come over here. I want you to meet someone."
As they headed toward us, Sally told Debbie, "Sis get ready to do what big sis taught you. These two look like what you and Sue are looking for!"
Tom was about 6'3", 220 pounds, brown hair, and brown eyes. John was smaller at 6'0", 155-160 pounds, with blue eyes and blonde hair.
Jimmy said, "Hey guy, I want you to meet Steve, he plays quarterback for Central."
Tom shook Steve's hand and said, "Glad to meet you, we had a coach that left to join the Central staff this spring."
Steve added, "You wouldn't be talking about Coach Pete would you?"
Tom answered, "Yep, I miss that guy. He helped me through a lot last fall. Coming from a small school, you get lost up there." Tom then grinned, "You know my first class at State there were 400 students in that class—400. Shit, that's more than in our whole damn high school!"
Everyone laughed at Tom's description when Steve added, "Central's biggest classes are only about 80. The rest are pretty small—25 maybe 35."
Steve told Tom, "Good luck this season. I'm sure Coach Pete will keep us informed on how you're doing."
Tom replied, "Good luck to you too, and be sure to tell Coach Pete I said hello."
Steve added, "OK, I will."
As they walked off, Sally told Debbie and me, "OK girls, your turn now. Go flirt with them—Sis, remember what I taught you."
David hearing this, laughed, "You two will just be wasting your time."
Sally quickly commented, "Not if she does it right!"
Debbie and I approached them as they were getting into the truck. Debbie said, "Hey college boys—you remember us?"
Tom looked at us for a bit and laughed "Yep, sure do. Both of you have changed quite a bit."
John added, "I'll say, look at them boobs!"
Debbie answered with a laugh, "Our boobs have grown—we don't have those B's anymore. We're both D's now."
But she was right, I was a 34D and Debbie was a 36D.
After a few minutes or so of flirting with them, they asked us to go for a ride. As we were getting into the truck, Debbie gave a big grin and thumbs up to Sally.
Tom grabbed my arm and said, "Let Debbie get in first," meaning she'd be sitting next to John, and I would be next to him.
I overheard Sally tell David, "I told you it would work out if she did it right, and from the looks of things, she did!"
We cruised Main Street for about half hour talking about my basketball season, Debbie's cheerleading, how the old high school was doing, and how their first year at State went. When we pulled back into the Dairy Queen, Sally and Steve were gone.
I told Tom, "Guess you guys will have to take us home now."
Tom grinned and added, "I'd already planned to."
The guys asked us out for Saturday night after graduation. Our summer was off to a great start!
