"Well, the ladies are back," Max announced. Sean stood up to let Eva in. Margo suddenly slipped past and slid in next to Max, pulling Eva in along with her. Now Eva was sitting next to Sean.
"Good to see you, Max," Margo said, giving him a hug and getting cozy with him. "So, what do you think of my niece?"
"I think she's a lot like you, which is incredible," he offered.
"Ahh, she doesn't look a thing like me," Margo pointed out, incredulous.
"But she is in ways that count," he insisted.
Margo smiled, "I am glad you like her."
Eva felt something come across her shoulder and turned to find Sean putting his arm around her and leaning in.
"Hey, Babe, are you looking to hook up tonight? You know, nothing serious, just a little you and me time." Eva was a little taken aback by his forthright approach, but then again, she remembered what Aunt Margo had told him. Eva looked at his boyish blue eyes and flowing blonde hair. His skin was tan and his open shirt let Eva see his smooth chest. Eva was quite sure that he had plenty of experience and needed no help picking up girls. Eva was actually a little proud that he was coming on to her, since she knew he could really have his choice of girls at a place like this.
"That would be cool," Eva answered casually.
Suddenly, Joe and Carl were sliding out of the booth.
"We're all going to the hotel, why don't you guys come along with us?" Margo asked but really seemed to be insisting.
Eva turned toward Sean and tried to read his face.
"What do you think?" Eva asked.
"Sounds cool," he said, then confessed under his breath, "That is one crazy chick."
"Don't I know it," Eva replied.
Margo directed traffic. Carl and Joe were picking up some refreshments and snacks on the way. Sean was driving Eva in his jeep, and Max was with Margo. Eva chatted with Sean on the way, and found out that he was in college majoring in graphic design and partying, at least that is how he put it, but not exactly in that order.
It felt so weird to Eva to be going to a hotel, to do what she was about to do, with a bunch of people. Eva was glad Sean's attitude seemed low key. They got to the hotel and Margo waved Eva and Sean down to follow them in.
Eva walked through the hotel lobby and she felt like everyone was watching her and that they knew exactly what she was going upstairs to do. It was a silly thought, but she couldn't shake it. Max swiped the door when they got there, and everyone went in.
It was a fairly big room, and Eva was glad that it had a little sitting area, so she wasn't forced to go straight to the bed. Eva tried to chit chat but all she could think about was Sean's exposed legs and how she might soon be feeling his body up against hers, her hands roaming his body and chest. There was a knock on the door, and Joe and Carl were soon entering the room, high fiving and getting everyone something to drink.
"I thought you boys would never get here," chided Margo. "It's time to get down to business."
