After breakfast Anteros and Vesta walked together toward Lien's home. They stopped to admire the wares of a few merchants on the way. "And it is a pleasure to see you again, Alexandra. I fear that this is not a social call but a matter of concern with Anteros."

Alexandra feigned surprise although she couldn't imagine any other reason for Vesta to bring Anteros. "Pray tell, Vesta. What is your concern?" She liked Anteros and hoped that he wouldn't be punished too severely for his offense.
