The next evening Maddy was a bit angry with me,

Carmen started the car and gently pulled away but looked nervous but after a minute started to get used to the power and did really well. Like Maddy I had her do some reversing which was quite good and two U-turns which weren't so good but she was learning.
After bearing west for half an hour we arrived at the lake side, when she had parked correctly and turned off the engine. I looked around but couldn't see any sign of anyone else in sight and it had started to rain, hopefully that would keep people at home in the dry.
