My Voyage of Submission, Ch 12 - Marian Makes a Deal

Master fucked all of us again in the morning after calling the galley and asking them to call when the Hoffler's came for breakfast. "Where were you two this morning?" Marian asked when they arrived. "I stopped by your room and you weren't there."

Marian didn't say anything. It seemed to me, Johanna and her mother butted heads quite frequently. I wondered if it was like this before she'd gone to Ethiopia. Perhaps I could ask someone later.

"What are you doing this morning, Beth?" Master asked.

"I hoped to question Maahnoor and Farah about what they remembered about Mahmoud's hideout. I'll try to keep them focussed on building details so we're not inundated with more slave training details. I'd like Fatima there, for both any required translation and because they may nudge each other's memories, and Edgar, at least, if not you, so he can apply the details to the search for Mahmoud."

"I think I can be there."

"Yes, sir. May we use your cabin for privacy?"

"Yes, you may."

Maybe I'd have time for more sex. I still had to inform Master about my sex with Maahnoor and Ateefah. I hadn't had a private moment alone with him. I asked Maahnoor and Farah to come to Master's cabin at 0900 and asked Master to arrange with Björn for Fatima to be there. We had a quick muster since there were no special evolutions going on. As soon as Master left muster, I reminded Hibbah and Johanna to go to sick bay for a morning after pill.

At 0845, I went to Master's cabin, knocking before entering like a proper crew member.

"Sir, I wanted to inform you about sex I had with someone you might not know about."

"I already know about Kelly. You didn't cum. I'm not concerned."

"It wasn't Kelly I needed to speak to you about sir. I had sex with Maahnoor and Ateefah."

"Both of them?"

"Yes, Master."

Master laughed and kissed me. A short time later, the others arrived, Edgar first, then then Maahnoor and Farah, and just in time, Fatima.

"Is your Master angry you had sex with me?" Maahnoor whispered, not understanding why she was here. I could see why she might think so. Edgar was usually the one who put the slaves in the stocks for punishment evolutions and she wasn't often called to Master's quarters.

"No. If you wait, all will be explained."

"Would anyone like some water before we get started?" Master asked. "We'll be asking a lot of questions and your mouth might get dry."

Everyone but Master got a water.

"We've talked to Fatima before, but now that both Farah and Maahnoor understand some English, we'd like to ask you questions about Mahmoud's hideout where you were trained as slaves."

"We don't want to talk about what happened to you, so much as what details you remember about the building," Edgar said. "Where the stairs are, the rooms, the layout of the building, including what you remember about the outside. What the place looked like. We've been looking for it, but only have a vague idea of where it is. Once we find it, we can get any slaves out, arrest Mahmoud, Abdul, and any of the rest of them and burn the place down. Put them out of business, maybe snatch up the ones taking you women. Frankly, we need your help."

"I'm hoping that the three of you will help each other remember things," I said. "Details one of you might have forgotten, another one remembers. Master has a design program and we hope to be able to identify features of the building. Fatima, please translate into Arabic anything they don't understand."

We waited for Fatima to finish. "Memories are attached to all five senses, and some of them are stronger than others, so for the moment, close your eyes and try to remember the scents and sounds of the place. Fatima, you too. Remember what you told us before. As we understand from Fatima, there were four floors above the ground and one floor below it. Does everyone agree with this?"

They all agreed it matched their collective memories of Mahmoud's training facility.

"Was the main building square, round, rectangular, or some other shape. If you look at the big screen in the front, you can see some of the shapes most common for buildings."

They all agreed the main building was most probably square, or nearly so. Maahnoor said something in Arabic, and Farah quickly agreed.

"The walls around the building were not square," Fatima said. "More like a pentagon or even a five pointed star, if you put the sentry towers at the points."

Master put something around the square, a five pointed star.

Farah said something and Fatima said, "The walls were almost but not quite straight. More like a pentagon if the walls were pushed in a little."

Master fiddled a little and put up a pentagon with indented walls. "Yes, like that, and at the five points were sentry towers with two to three people in them all the time. Sometimes, slaves are sent out to the towers to pleasure the guards, so it's not always only Mahmoud's men in them."

"Good," Edgar said. "Good information. Are their guards anyplace but the sentry towers on watch?"

The three women conferred and Fatima said, "Two men at the main gate of the walls and two more at the only entrance to the house. The guards stay on the second floor, both to keep the slaves confined to the third, and not to interfere with the servants on the first floor. They sometimes look out of their windows to see if the sentries are on watch or sleeping. Mahmoud occasionally does the same from his rooms on the fourth floor."

"Do you know of any cameras watching the grounds or the outside or inside of the house."

The three women argued a bit. "We never saw any visible cameras, but Maahnoor is sure she was in a room with many televisions like this room, with men watching the TV's. So we think they had cameras but don't know where they are."

"Let's start with Mahmoud's floor at the top. Was it all one big room, or divided up into smaller rooms?" Edgar asked.

Fatima said, "It was three rooms. His bedroom/office took up about half the floor. His computers and telephones were behind a screen, but it was still part of his bedroom. The rest of the floor was divided between a nice big bathroom with a sunken tub and a punishment room. Both were tiled so they were easy to clean up. No rugs so he wouldn't get blood on them. He might also punish a slave in his bedroom, but only if there would be no blood from the punishment."

"Does he have windows, and were they open, have glass, bars, what, in them."

"They conferred some more. "Maahnoor said it used to be only glass in the windows, but one of the slaves committed suicide by leaping out of the window to her death. They put in bars afterward, so both glass and bars, which is what I remember. There is a balcony on the side of the room opposite the stairs, but the door to the balcony is kept locked and only Mahmoud has a key and slaves are only allowed out on the balcony in chains that aren't long enough to reach the railing."

"If this is Mahmoud's floor," Master popped up a picture of a room divided in roughly half, with half the room further divided in two, "on which side is the stairs and which side the balcony?"

"The door to the stairs would be on the right, by the bathroom, the balcony on the left, near the punishment room."

"Do you know the orientation of the room? Does the bedroom face north, east, south?"

"We're not sure," Fatima said after conferring with the others.

"Did the sun come in the bedroom windows, or did they remain shaded?" I asked. "What side of the bedroom did the sun come up?"

They talked again, then Fatima said, "The tallest mountains visible were on the balcony side and the sun came over them. The bedroom remained shaded for much of the day for coolness. There were skylights in the bathroom and punishment room, and I think that was the side the sun shone in."

Bit by bit, we worked out the details of the building as much as possible. There were about twenty rooms on the slave floor, usually some were empty. They ranged from little more than tiny cells with straw on the floor to sleep on and a bucket in the corner for a bathroom, to more luxurious rooms, where some of the slaves could be together, with real bathrooms and real beds.

"What's the point of that?" Edgar asked as they explained.

"Both negative and positive reinforcement," I said. "You're punished and treated like crap when you're taken captive, and the more compliant and obedient you become, the better your living conditions. Step out of line, more shit, worse conditions. Obey, and you're rewarded with more luxuries. The carrot and the stick. Encourages obedience in two ways. Master understands the concepts. He practices them on me, though not to this extreme. I disobey, I suffer more punishment. I obey, I get more orgasms. It's psychology 101. The military uses it in training as well. Peel spuds if you fuck up, get weekend liberty if you don't. Everybody uses it to some extent. This is the extreme example of the concept."

The guards floor, none of them knew all that well. They weren't really allowed in the guards quarters. Instead there were a few rooms set aside for the guards to fuck slaves in, so they didn't go back the where the guards lived. The first floor, they could describe a little better. They never were in the rooms for the servants. They had to fuck them as well, but it was usually in the kitchen, scullery, dining rooms, or anywhere a slave could be bent over or made to kneel. The basement level, they could describe the store rooms and larders, but not the section with the dark rooms. They were blindfolded when they were put in that section and the blindfold wasn't removed until they were in the dark room itself. There were no lights down there once you were in the room, only unending blackness.

"Well, this knowledge about the walls, might help identify the place in satellite photos. Those aren't common looking walls," Master said.

"Yes, boss, but they know we're looking and we've freed women who've been there. If they're smart, and they've not shown they're anything but, they're making changes to the appearance, maybe using camouflage netting or something else to fuck up our search. Relatively cheap way to screw the search. Add a net covering half the house and grounds. Then we'd never see this five sided thing."

"What about the GPS tracker in the money bag?"

"We're still tracking it. It's in Mauritania now, but still south of the Atlas Mountains. He could head to Western Sahara, north to Morocco, northeast to Algeria or east to Mali from where it is now. Once it's in the mountains, we might get a good bead on the destination. Now, it's still too early to tell."

"Keep me informed."

"You got it."

"Beth, perhaps you could escort Maahnoor back to her room?"

"Of course, sir." That was an open invitation to speak to her.

When we reached Maahnoor's room, Ateefah asked if Joshua was angry.

"He not angry," Maahnoor replied. "Want learn about Mahmoud house, where slave trained. Try to find."

Ateefah looked relieved they weren't in trouble.

"I spoke to my Master about what happened yesterday and why. He understands the reason you wished to have sex and he is agreeable to me giving you sex again if you wish it. I am willing, if it's something you desire."

"Now?" Ateefah asked.

"We have some time before lunch. It may not be as good as last night, but yes, now if you wish."

They both took off their clothes in a second. "You not take off clothes?" Maahnoor asked, climbing into bed.

"It's not necessary. I can't orgasm anyway."

I gave them each a good fifteen minutes before wiping my face and leaving two happy women in my wake.

At lunch, Master noted the thankful looks and quick, hesitant glances Ateefah and Maahnoor gave me and shook is head in mock despair. He had a big, wrapped box sitting beside him at lunch. A couple people seemed to know what it is, Leo and Hannah particularly, as they ignored it, but everyone else was curious about it, including me. I didn't think he'd give me a gift openly as it might expose our relationship. Was it someone's birthday? I should know when everyone's birthday was; add it to my calendar so at least I could wish everyone a Happy Birthday, even if I had no presents for them.

When everyone was finished with the meal, he asked Maahnoor to come up to the head of the table. She glanced at me fearfully and I smiled because I knew he wasn't mad at her. She got up and walked to him. He handed her the present.

"Maahnoor, this is for you."

"For me?" she said, puzzled. "Why me gift?"

"Open it, and perhaps you can figure it out."

Maahnoor opened the package carefully, wondering why she was getting a gift. She kept glancing at Master, who only smiled mysteriously. The paper removed, she lifted off the top of the box. Inside was an emerald green garment with decorative stitching adorning the front.

"A djellaba?"

Maahnoor pulled it out and held it up to herself. Beneath it was another one in pink, with longer sleeves. Below the pink one was another garment which seemed made of heavy silk, without adornment. A heavier wool type garment, also plain was below that. I couldn't tell what they were, buried in the box. She dug deeper and there was a necklace of large wooden beads and stones, threaded and interspersed with golden beads.

"I didn't know what clothing you traditionally wore in your family, Maahnoor," Master said. "To be on the safe side, I got you both djellabas and haiks. Since you are meeting your family for the first time in several years, I thought you'd be more comfortable meeting them in traditional garb. I hope you like them and they meet your needs."

"Thank you, Josh-wa. Very kind. Gifts wonderful. Thank you."

"You're welcome, Maahnoor."

All of her fellow slaves were chattering to her in Portuguese or Arabic, admiring the different garments. Ateefah fastened the necklace around Maahnoor's neck and laughed.

I wondered how far ahead Master had planned to give this gift. For Leo to bring it from Dakar, he would have to have had to order it from somewhere in Morocco or on-line, had it shipped and waiting in Dakar for it to be picked up. Perhaps almost as soon as he knew her parents had been found. I squeezed his hand. What a wonderful Master I had. None of the garments looked to really require sizes per se. Perhaps a guess at the height, as all of them looked to be loose fitting.

"Maahnoor," I said. "Why don't you try them all on and make sure they all fit, and perhaps you could wear one to dinner tonight so we could see one on you. They look lovely."

When I said that, five slaves immediately headed to her room, still chattering excitedly.

"That was a magnificent gesture, Joshua," I said. "It required a lot of planning to pull off."

"Hannah deserves most of the credit," he said. "She's my right hand for a reason. She implemented the plan."
