At breakfast, whilst Amy is at the club retiring as a 'registered lady', the 5 ladies are asked whether they would prefer to work in the hotel or to join Emily's personal staff in the penthouse. It is explained that they would be doing much the same work in either job but when Emily is travelling away from Delhi they would live in the penthouse but work in the hotel, and of course attend club meetings at the Delhi branch. 4 of the ladies choose to join Emily's personal staff while the fifth, who was born in Delhi and wants to stay with her family, chooses employment at the Best Erotic Marigold Hotel of Delhi.

Again, the three club officers countersign to authorise and witness the transfer and then Thavanesh calls upon all present to hail the first lady of all the branches of the club, the Maharani Emily!
