Hello all! This is the continuation of Chapter 79. Sorry it took so long, but I blew out a shoulder and had to have it fixed. Dawn had a surprise last chapter. There will be a few surprises in this one! Copyright LATL March 2023. Sole rights have been granted to Literotica.com only.
Life after the Lottery, CH 80
Sometimes...shit just happens
The girls talked all day about visiting Tracey's house after they flew back before noon. We heard Samantha land around 5:00 PM. She had flown to the airport after lunch for her IFR training. I was still getting used to Dawn or Samantha flying off by themselves. I was sitting in the den with Dawn and Amy.
"Hey! Dr. Jennings just called me," Samantha said as she came in the back door.
"What did he want during the summer?" Dawn asked.
"He said he had two open spots in that cadaver lab the next two weeks before school starts. Two people canceled. He wanted to know if me and sis wanted to be in it."
"Wow. That is usually only open to 4th years, Samantha," Dawn said. "That is high praise, you two."
"That was what he said, but it was too late to get any of them over the weekend. You want to do it, sis?"
"Sure!"
"This will be a great opportunity for you two. It will save you both a class."
"Dr. Jennings said the day lab was full, but these two spots opened up in the evening one."
"What time is it? They were all day for two weeks when I took it." Dawn asked.
"It is from 2:00 to 9:00. There is a short dinner break at 5:00."
"Yuk! How could you eat?" I asked.
"I hate you two being on campus that late."
"We'll be together...mom!" Samantha teased Dawn.
"Okay. This will be good for both of you. Will you hold up on flying for it?"
"It's at night!"
"Okay...Sam..."
"Okay. I'll call him back and tell him yes."
Samantha headed upstairs.
"Can't believe she'll give up flying for two weeks," Amy said.
"Don't hold your breath. I bet she is up early," I added.
"You two will be studying all the time. Trust me. I took that lab," Dawn said.
"That's okay. She needs to get back to studying before school starts," Amy said. "You, too."
"We are still planning on flying to the reservation early in the morning with Jeanine. Sam is flying there, and I am flying back tomorrow night. Are either of you going with us?" Dawn asked.
"I'm not," Amy said.
"I am still getting caught up making prints for Tracey," I told her. "What time in the morning?"
"3:00. That way, Sam will be flying in the dark nearly all the way there. We should be back after midnight. I want to check on the construction of the helipad too. It should be finished."
"You two be careful and see if you can take a nap at the reservation," I said.
"Jeanine wants to meet my great-grandparents."
"Make sure he gives her the good luck ceremony!" I said and laughed.
"Did you talk to Sam and Olivia?" Dawn asked me.
"Yes. He said they would come by tomorrow."

After we finished dinner, I was sitting in the den with Dawn. Samantha and Amy were cleaning up the kitchen. We had eaten early because they were going to try and go to bed early before they flew out.
Samantha came to the den and sat down between us.
"I need to ask you two about something," she said.
"Okay."
"Dawn...you know the sexes of our babies...I have a question?"
"I'm not telling you, Sam."
"Not that...something else."
I knew she was concerned about whatever it was she wanted to ask because she got quiet.
"Honey, just ask whatever it is that's concerning you," I told her.
"I was just thinking. We will have three kids...maybe boys and girls. When they are old enough...what if the girls want to do what me and sis do?"
"You mean have sex with each other?" Dawn asked.
"I guess..."
"Sam, do you think what you and Amy do is wrong?"
"I don't guess so...you two know we do it because we love each other and think it's the ultimate expression of love..."
"Then why are you asking us about something that may happen 18 years from now?"
"Well...if we have two girls...what will we tell them?"
"What do you and Amy want to tell them?"
"We don't know..."
"Yes, you do."
Samantha sat for a minute thinking.
"Honey, if you two don't think it is wrong, why are you concerned?" I asked.
"I don't guess it is wrong...but...I'm not sure we should encourage it."
"Why not?" Dawn asked.
"I just...I don't know..."
"Do you think you should discourage it?"
"I don't guess we should."
"Honey, it is going to come down to what you tell your child and what you are willing to tell your child. You are talking about something that really shouldn't be a concern until they are eighteen...hopefully. We will all be discussing sex with our children when they are old enough. I'm not sure hoping a child doesn't have sex until they are eighteen is even realistic today. But that should be what we teach them," Dawn said.
"So...do we teach them about this and tell them it is their decision when they are eighteen?"
"I guess that would be the right thing to do. But we all know what happens if you tell a child they can't do something."
"I know. This leaves me with one more question."
"What is that?" I asked.
"What if we have boys and girls?"
"Well...that is something we will have to address, Sam," Dawn said.
"Would you be okay if we have a boy and a girl, and they decide to have sex?"
"I don't think I can answer that question, honey. I don't have a brother or sister," Dawn replied.
I knew she was waiting for me to answer.
"Honey, I think all we can do is teach them. I'm not going to say that my parents being so open about sex with me and my sister is what led us to having sex, but it probably made it less of an issue," I said.
"Would we ever tell our kids about our sex practices?"
"That is up to you, Samantha."
"I think it is up to all of us."
"It will be," Dawn said. "But that is a long way off."
"Would you two really be okay if you found out our son and daughter were having sex?"
"I guess we may have to find out."
"Are we going to...teach them like James' parents did?"
"We'll see."
That seemed to have answered her questions for now. Amy came and sat with us.
"Don't wake us up when you get up," Amy said.
"Did you go over the map with the instructor?" Dawn asked Samantha.
"Yes. I worked out the route with him and the refueling in Knoxville before I flew home. You'll have to refuel also on the way back, so you can count this as an IFR landing too."
"I'm happy we can use Jeanine as an instructor now. We'll have to get up before 2:00, so we can do the preflight. She'll be here at 2:30."
"Take some coffee," Amy told them.
"Do you have the number to call if the pad still needs anything?" I asked.
"Yep, but it better be finished. I called after we stopped by on the way to Raleigh because I didn't think all the lights were working."
"I hope they got the lights ready so you can turn them on with the radio. The engineer told me they would have to go back out later next week and double-check that the solar panels are charging the batteries properly," I said.
"Amy, let me take your digital camera so I can get some photos from the air," Dawn said. "I will be able to make sure all the lights are working that way."
"I'll go get everything now, so you don't wake me up at 2:00 AM."
"Do you think great-grandfather will be outside waiting when you get there?" I asked.
"What do you think!"
"Did they have the fence up?"
"They were installing the gate Thursday."
"Make sure Running Bear gets a lock and has a key so they can mow the grass."
"I talked to him about it, but he was checking out Tracey the entire time. I'll talk to him again."
Dawn and Samantha went over the flight plan until nearly 8:00. I made them go to bed and try and get some sleep.
"I can't get used to my little sister flying off in a helicopter by herself."
"I know."
"Do you worry about them?"
