Well, we've made it to the final episode of the second season of Langley Circle. It's been one hell of a rollercoaster ride so far and this finale continues in that vein. This episode depicts hate sex and mutual masturbation amongst other good stuff. I hope you have enjoyed the story so far, and look forward to having you back for season three.

Previously on Langley Circle... Josh's D&D game had been a hot bed of bickering, flirting and stubborn players... pretty much a normal session. After a rocky start, the players began to work together to beat seven bells out of all the monsters Josh put in their way, and pool their brain power to crack his puzzles. A lapse in concentration saw the death of Antoinette's character and the instant dispersal of the group members. With smaller strategically chosen groups now formed and sequestered away in separate parts of the house, will the players still work together, or will it be every character for themselves. More importantly, will the steadily building sexual tension finally come to anything?

Season Two, Episode Twenty-Four

"OK, you need to head inside and split-up; I have separate scenarios for the different groups. Riley and Rupert, head up to my room; Bella and Antoinette wait in the kitchen for me; Jason and Sally, you're in the dining room."

"What? No," Sally said, eyeing Jason with annoyance, though Josh noted it was less vehement than it had been earlier. He glanced to Jason, who bit his lip and bowed his head in defeat.

"Maybe it would be better... for the groups to be different."

"Sorry no, the dice have spoken; this was random."

Jason glanced at Sally and then nodded, pursing his lips. "Sure. It'll be fine; we don't want to spoil the game, right Sally?"

Sally eyed him suspiciously, before shrugging. "Whatever. I'm sure I'll work it out on my own, so we don't need to actually talk or anything."

Jason opened his mouth to protest, but Josh widened his eyes in caution, and the lad chewed back whatever he had been about to say. With a nod, he made his way back into the house, the other's following behind.

Josh was last in, and after he closed the back door, he turned to find Antoinette and Bella staring expectantly at him.

"Umm... Josh, am I really dead?" Antoinette asked in probably the flirtiest tone Josh had ever heard her use. He glanced at Bella who simply shrugged.

"I'm afraid so Toni. Nothing personal; I would have vaporised anyone who had gone through that door without making a trap check."

Antoinette pouted, nodding in resignation.

Bella reached up on tiptoes and placed a delicate lingering kiss on the woman's lips. "Don't pout red, you can stay and play with me... or watch him play with me I mean... Err... or just stay and watch us play." Bella giggled causing Antoinette to fail in maintaining her pout. She glanced nervously through the kitchen door before stealing another kiss from Bella and blushing.

"Are you really getting into girls? Or is it only me?" Bella asked, putting one hand on her hip.

Antoinette giggled shyly, a wholly uncharacteristic response. "Not sure to be honest, but you definitely do er... something to me."

"Do I make you tingle?" Bella asked, moving closer with a predatory look.

Antoinette squeaked and bit her lip, nodding slowly.

Josh slipped a hand in his pocket to adjust his growing erection, coughing politely.

Antoinette shivered and looked to the ceiling. "I'm so horny; I was hoping this session might be a bit like last time Josh, but there's been none of that."

Bella snorted a laugh. "Wow, and people say I'm the sex-mad one."

"You are about to get your wish, if you want it," Josh said. "I'm giving you the setup, what you do with it is up to you."

Antoinette frowned. "How so?"

"I want you to DM for Riley and Rupert." He pulled a sheet of paper from his folder and passed it over. "That's an idea, but the stats you'd need are all there. Feel free to embellish however you want, but as you can see, the monster I have suggested would give you more than enough leeway to do... well, whatever you want."

"What's a succubus?" Bella asked peering at the sheet.

Antoinette flattened the paper to her chest and blushed furiously. "God, I dunno. I don't think I can do that... not on my own."

Bella lifted Antoinette's chin and stared her dead in the eyes. "You got this Red. Those two will be putty in your hands. Be confident, and if you don't feel it, then fake it. You're a woman now; you've got all the treasures." Bella ran her hands over Antoinette's curves as she said this.

Antoinette giggled, but then looked nervous again. "Maybe if you come with me?"

"I'm afraid not; I have my own path to follow."

Antoinette pouted again.

"Damn girl, you know how sexy that makes you look, stop weaving your magic on me."

Antoinette flashed a girlish grin and shrugged.

"Tell you what, if you lose your nerve, text me and I'll see if I can help."

"OK." Antoinette took a deep breath and turned, heading for the stairs.

"And what about me dungeon master?" Bella said with a smirk. "What devilish plan have you devised for me?"

Josh closed the distance between them, slipping his arms around her slender waist. He lifted her to sit on the kitchen table, her legs automatically locking around him.

"I thought we could forget about the game, and I'd fuck you here on the table." Josh locked eyes with her, delighting as Bella tried not to react to his outrageous suggestion. She slipped a hand onto his hardness, rubbing slowly up and down his length.

"Well that sounds awfully nice and all," she fixed him with her big round doe eyes, "but I kinda want a puzzle too."

Josh lifted one hand to cup one of her large breasts, making Bella gasp and bite her lip. "You seriously want to play?"

She nodded. "Yeah, and I don't want you going soft on me either." Bella chuckled at her own joke, before adding, "And after that, I might let you fuck me."

Josh grinned and dove forward to kiss her. Her soft eager lips met his as her arms encircled his neck, pulling him down on top of her as she lay back on the table. She locked her legs around his back as he ground his erection against her mound.

"Ok, back up tiger," Bella said with a chuckle as she eased him back. "Dungeon first, then you get me."

"Damn girl, you're evil." Josh replied, lifting up.

Bella's eyes were fixed on his bulging cock. "You don't know how much will power this is taking." She groaned and reached for him again.

Josh was the one to resist this time, stepping out of her reach with a smirk as he waggled his finger. "Should I make you roll a will check?"

Bella tilted her head. "Nah I'm fine. Let's do this before I change my mind. Do you need to get the angry twins going first?" Bella gestured with her head in the direction of the dining room.

"I've already given them their puzzle; that should keep them busy for a while."

Jason attempted to peer over Sally's shoulder at the piece of paper Josh had given them.

"Back off," Sally said, her voice edged with venom. "You can look when I'm done."

Jason held up a hand in defeat and moved a short distance away. "Can you at least tell me what it says?" He tried hard to keep the frustration out of his voice.

Sally sighed. "Small cavern with a single magically sealed door. On the wall to the right of the door there are a series of handles and buttons... there's a diagram that looks like a spider threw up. Pull all levers and press all buttons at exactly the same time to open the door."

"That's it?"

"Yeah."

"It doesn't say anything else?"

"Only that the solution must be accurate and demonstrable."

"Hmm, not a lot to go on." Jason was itching to get a look at the diagram, but angering Sally further wasn't high on his list right now.

"Ugh, this is dumb," Sally said, tossing the sheet onto the table, agonizingly out of Jason's reach. He knew if he went for it, she'd probably snatch it away.

"Anyway, I'm not talking to you. Do what you want, don't involve me."

The words stung; his heart sank yet again. Bile rose in his throat as he fought back the urge to flip her off. Sally got up, stomped around the table and leant back against the wall, scowling at him. Was she daring him to make a move for the paper? He experimentally slid his hand an inch closer to the document, and sure enough, she expelled an aggressively loud tut. Jason's anger rose again; this was fucking ridiculous.

"Look, what is your problem with me?"

Sally's eyes bulged. "Like you don't fucking know."

Jason frowned; he actually didn't.

Sally threw up her arms and growled in frustration. "You told Steve Barnard I had gonorrhoea."

Jason managed to disguise the urge to laugh with a well-timed cough. "That's not true."

"It bloody is!" Sally leant over the table and glared at him, her eyes wide and burning, the muscles in her neck bunching. Her lithe body was tense and poised to strike; at least, that's how it seemed to Jason.

"I told him you had syphilis."

"Whatever, Same difference. The whole year thinks I'm contagious thanks to you."

"Well I only did that because you told Sarah Parsley I was gay."

Sally smirked and tossed her hair back over her shoulder.

"I got all sorts of shit for that. The homophobes started taunting me, the gay people started hitting on me, and Miss Stapleton invited me into her counselling room to discuss my life choices. She assured me that whatever path I chose, it was something to be proud of."

Sally snorted a cruel laugh. "That's what you get for signing me up for chess club, maths club, politics club and every other fucking dork club in school. I had nerds, dweebs and geeks trailing around after me like bloody lemmings."

Jason tried not to take the insult personally. He knew he was a geek; he was fine with that, but it hurt to be referred to as if he had some kind of disease. He jumped to his feet, refusing to bury his anger. "Fuck's sake! Every week for the last seven years, you have sneered at me, tossed your hair at me, stuck your perky little nose in the air and whispered withering insults under your breath to your friends as I walked by. Every fucking week." The resentment and repressed anger was bubbling up now. Years of bottled emotions were surging deep within him. "I don't get it. What on earth did I ever do to deserve that kind of treatment? It's been so long now, I don't even remember, but if it's my soul you're trying to destroy, then consider it all but done. So much so, that further insults are pointless. Each of your looks is like a dagger, each time you deliberately turn your body away from me is another red-hot poker up the arse. Each" -- he choked back the words -- "Oh forget it." He closed his eyes and counted to ten, clenching and unclenching his fists, letting some of the bitterness drain away.

He sighed and opened his eyes. "Do me one favour, then I won't bother you anymore."

Sally stared back at him, but stayed silent, her nose wrinkling into a sneer.

"What happened to us?" Jason sighed, the fight going out of him. "My mum says we used to be inseparable when we were kids. We did everything together. She says we were never apart. When we were six, I vaguely remember we spent the whole summer exploring the woods and making camps. I thought we'd be friends forever. I honestly don't think I've been as happy as I was that summer, playing crusades and climbing trees, staying out till the street lights came on, then picking your house or mine to have dinner at." He paused, swallowing down the lump that had formed in his throat.

Sally blinked hard, the creases in her lips disappearing as she sagged into a chair. A wistful expression crossed her face, but as quickly as it had appeared, it fled again.

"Then something happened, and suddenly I'm enemy number one. I don't get it." He threw out his arms in an exaggerated shrug. "What did I do? How did I fuck it all up?"

Sally scowled. "You really don't remember?"

Jason threw his arms up in exasperation. "No. I can't imagine what I did that has caused you to pour so much hate on me for the last decade... it must have been bad though, but I have to know."

"Hey, it's not all on me; you give as good as you get fuckface."

Jason sank down into a chair and stared dismally across at her. He suspected He'd sealed his doom. He'd shown her that she was getting to him. If this backfired, his torture would only get worse.

Sally pursed her lips and averted her eyes. "Right at the end of that summer... you remember we made that camp in the lightning oak?"

Jason frowned, a stab of memory surfacing. The lightning oak was an enormous tree that had been struck by lightning long ago, half-exploding, and half-collapsing. It was a great place to make dens, but they hadn't found it until right near the end of the holidays. Jason nodded, not trusting his voice.

"And do you remember the whole disgusting thing you made me do with the... peeing?" Sally kept her gaze fixed on the wall, obviously unable to look at him as she recalled.

Memories surged into Jason with a suddenness that sent a shiver down his spine. "Sally... I was six! I had no idea what I was doing, or thinking. It was just something I'd heard, probably in the playground. Honestly, I probably thought it was some kind of game. Boys always seemed to laugh and mess about when they peed outdoors. I--"

Sally shivered and held a hand out. "Spare me the detail. I've tried hard to forget that day."

"What? Fair enough, you got a bit of pee on your knickers. Other than that, what's the harm? No big deal."

Sally rounded on him, her face contorting into a snarl. "No big deal? On my way home, I bumped into Emily, Jane and some of my other friends. I say friends; they can all go fuck themselves. They noticed I had wet legs, and smelt the piss. They pulled up my dress and saw my soaked knickers, and that's when it started."

He frowned. "Started? What started?"

"They called me pissy-knickers for the next 4 years. Those bitches teased me, bullied me, and made my life hell. They told half the school and soon I had no friends at all. Even Mrs. Frampton, the frigid old bitch, called me it when I was late for her lesson. The fucking shame and humiliation I felt!" Sally paused, spittle forming on her lips as she spat the words out. "The... fucking... humiliation... you have no idea!"

Jason reeled in shock. He'd never known about that. His family had moved house right after the summer, not that far away, but enough to switch Jason to another school.

"Fuck Sally! I had no idea. If I'd have realised..." He ran his hands through his hair, a surge of anxiety welling up. "Shit... I dunno. I was six for heaven's sake. I'm not sure I would have understood it even if I'd been around to see it happening. I know I cried every night for weeks when you refused to talk to me, and we'd not long moved house, I was so unhappy. Fuck, looking back I must have been so confused."

Sally frowned. "You cried?"

Jason nodded and shrugged. "I was so lonely after we moved, and upset that my best friend wasn't talking to me," he said in a thin voice.

Sally slumped forward, letting her head rest on the table. "I was so ashamed."

Jason winced. "I know it probably means nothing now, but I'm so sorry Sally. I'm sorry I ever suggested it. Fuck I'm sorry I wasn't there when those bitches teased you, and I'm sorry I didn't realise how bad it was for so long after."

Sally shrugged without looking up, her cheek still pressed to the wood of the table. She sniffed and Jason closed his eyes in regret. Was she crying? Fuck this hurt.

"Doesn't matter, nothing anyone can do about it now."

"I tried to buy you new underwear, did you know that?"

Sally lifted her head and frowned, eyes rimmed in red. "What?"

"Yeah, Thinking about this has triggered something that I've been confused about over the years. I told my mum I needed to buy you new underwear as yours got dirty in the woods. I gave her all my pocket money, but she patted me on the head and laughed. She told me your mum would wash them and it would be ok. I didn't understand and kept saying I needed to do it."

"Bullshit," Sally said, her voice holding little anger now.

"No, it's true. It makes sense now. My mum teases me about having a way with the ladies because I wanted to buy 'lingerie' for you when I was a kid. I get it now."

Sally barked a single laugh and wiped her red eyes.

Neither of them spoke for a while, staring fixedly at anything but each other, lost in their own thoughts.

Jason cleared his throat. "My biggest regret is all the years of lost friendship, and that we'll never be friends like we were back then."

"I'm sorry about that too," Sally said quietly.

The silence drifted down again like a choking noxious cloud, hanging between them for a long moment before Sally sat up angrily.

"No, fuck you! I'm not sorry, I didn't do anything wrong. I'm still angry at you; I've always been angry at you for what you did."

Jason blinked in shock. "For what I did? When we were six? I was a child!"

"Whatever. I don't want to talk about it. It might be stupid and petty, but I can't simply ignore a decade of hate. Big fucking deal it wasn't your fault. I was the one they called pissy knickers, not you."

Jason had no answer for that. His mouth flapped open and closed a few times before he finally gave up and turned away, frustrated tears pricking at the corners of his eyes. For a want of a distraction from imploding with self-loathing, he picked up the sheet of paper and studied the diagram.

Sally had been right; it did look like a spider had thrown up on the page, but it also included quite a lot of detail that she had neglected to mention. For one, there were measurements and angles pinpointing the exact locations of the handles and buttons.

In total, there were four handles and four buttons, which in itself didn't make the puzzle insurmountable. With two people, you should be able to work that many controls at once. He could see the constraint of making only four handles, as that meant it could be done with four hands. No matter how many feet you have, you can't pull a handle with a foot... the clue is in the name. Buttons on the other hand, you can do with feet. He puzzled over the diagram for a while trying to work out how you would have to stand in order to reach as many controls as possible. He glanced across at Sally, who had turned away, and was staring at her hands as she wrung them in her lap. Her blonde hair had fallen around her face, and she had made no attempt to push it back. She looked heart achingly beautiful in that moment, a complicated expression of sadness and frustration on her face. It could have been a painting, one that would reflect the depth of emotion that he was seeing. It would be the kind of picture that people would stand and gaze at for hours, trying to get a clue to the reason behind the troubled expression of the beautiful woman.

Sally flicked her eyes in his direction and he turned back to the page, preparing for the next barrage of insults. His gut churned and his heart ached. His mind swam with a myriad of confusing thoughts and emotions. Sadness, loss, frustration, and anger. Even now that he understood the reason for their decade long feud, he was still angry; it was all so pointless and petty. He was furious at how much time he'd wasted, how he'd lost a friendship over something so trivial... except it obviously wasn't trivial to her.
