Author's note: The following is a work of fiction that contains descriptions of explicit sexual acts and is intended for adults only. All people, places, and events are a product of my imagination and any characters described as engaging in sexual acts are over the age of eighteen. Thank you for reading. All feedback is greatly appreciated.
Thanks for sticking around all the way to the finale. The culmination of season two plays out over the next two episodes, the first of which doesn't actually contain any sex, but I think is a lot of fun and builds tension and anticipation towards the next episode which is chocked full of the good stuff.
Previously on Langley Circle... The last dungeons & dragons game session that Josh held a few weeks ago turned out to be a great success, and the inclusion of Bella amongst the players seemed to be the catalyst for all manner of sexual antics. With Antoinette enjoying her erotic sword dancing demonstration way more than she had thought she would, and Sally insisting that she be included this time, on pain of death, the upcoming session promises to be even more fun.

Season Two, Episode Twenty-Three
Josh shuffled through his notes and fretted. How had his D&D game nights morphed into a means to facilitate sexual experimentation amongst his friend group? What did that even mean? One could probably argue that He was merely creating opportunities and laying out scenarios, and what the players actually did was ultimately up to them. Regardless of this, He still worried he might be crossing a line.
"Dude, are you hungry?"
"What?" Josh looked up at Riley, who was frowning at him.
"You've been chewing your lip for the last ten minutes. Have a bloody biscuit or something."
Josh rolled his eyes, and Rupert snorted at his friend's pathetic attempt at a Joke.
"Where's Toni?" Jason asked as he tried to act cool by twiddling a pencil over his fingers. The pencil clattered to the floor. He sighed. "She's never late."
"Bella messaged me a few minutes ago, they'll be here soon," Josh said and smirked at the reactions of the three lads seated down one side of the table.
"Bella's coming?" Rupert asked with a hopeful grin.
Riley snorted. "In your dreams she's coming."
Jason remained silent, his gaze fixed on the three empty chairs opposite. How long would it take him to figure it out.
"Why three chairs?"
Not that long apparently. "Because three people will need to sit down," Josh said, declining to elaborate further in response to the raised eyebrows and questioning looks.
Riley opened his mouth to speak, presumably to put voice to the question that hung in the air; however, he was interrupted by the doorbell.
"Be a good chap and get the door," Josh said.
Riley hesitated, then shrugged and headed out into the hallway.
Jason squinted at Josh. "What are you scheming Dickinson? Who is the third chair for?"
A burst of laughter from the hall distracted Jason, allowing Josh to ignore his question. When Riley shuffled back into the room, he had Bella, Antoinette and Sally trailing behind him. As Jason spotted Sally, his eyes bulged and his mouth dropped open. The expression of shock morphed quickly into an angry scowl, but the women either didn't notice, or chose to ignore his reaction as they tossed out greetings and bustled to their seats. Bella sat to the left of Josh, opposite Rupert, Antoinette settled in the middle of the girls across from Riley, and Sally faced Jason, who still hadn't taken his eyes from her.
Josh returned the greetings, keeping one eye on Sally and Jason. He knew they had some history, but Jason had never seen fit to explain the details to him. The frown creasing Sally's brow and the disdainful wrinkle that formed in her nose told Josh that she was as annoyed to see Jason. Her next words confirmed this and instantly silenced the room.
"What is he doing here?" Sally spat the words out whilst giving Jason one of the foulest looks Josh had ever seen.
A look of incredulity formed on Jason's face. "What am I doing here? This is my regular D&D game. Why are you here? Shouldn't you be at a beauty pageant or convention for narcissistic princesses?"
"Jason!" Antoinette warned.
"OK, let's take a breath," Josh said. "Once we get going, I'm sure people will be able to put personal things aside and have fun." Glancing around the table, he didn't think he was fooling anyone, least of all himself.
"All cool with me," Sally flashed Josh a Dazzling smile, one edged with venom. "As long as condescending dick-brain over here minds his manners and is able to avoid acting like a pretentious know-it-all."
"What--"
"Look, let's crack on yeah?" Bella smiled and reached past Antoinette to lay a hand on Sally's arm. "I want to kill monsters."
The pair continued to bore holes in each other for a few moments, before Jason finally nodded. He shrugged and looked to Josh. Sally deflated a moment later, her lashes fluttering uncertainly as she glanced sheepishly around the table, now purposefully ignoring Jason.
Excitement began to build in Josh as he clapped his hands. "As this is the last time we'll be able to play for a while, because of exams, and seeing we have a newbie tonight" -- he nodded at Sally, who sent back a beaming smile that got his pulse quickening -- "And quite frankly, because I haven't had time to develop the plot from last time, sorry, been too busy."
"Lazy git," Riley quipped and Rupert elbowed him in the ribs. "Jesus Ru, I was joking."
"Anyway, because of all that, today we're going to do a one shot."
"A what now?" Bella asked. "Newbies here remember."
Rupert snickered and Riley returned the dig in the ribs.
"A one shot is a stand-alone game designed to last a single session. I have rolled simple characters for each of you. There will be very little preamble or build up. You'll all be in a group with some kind of collective goal. The mechanics are simplified; it focuses much more on roleplay, so it's more natural."
"What system?" Antoinette asked.
"D20 rolls," Josh said, handing round character sheets. "Health, and stamina are the only vitals; strength, dexterity, constitution, charisma, intelligence and wisdom are the stats. No magic, no defined skills, it's all about the roleplay. If you want your character to try something, tell me and I'll devise some kind of roll based on your stats."
Riley frowned. "That's pretty pared down. Will that even work?"
"Sure, if you guys work together and clearly explain your actions."
"No class or name?" Bella asked, looking up from her sheet.
"Nope, no classes. As for name, choose one."
Bella grinned. "I shall be Baboosha" -- she adopted a Russian accent -- "Deadly as poison, but devastatingly irresistible." She leaned into Antoinette and did something unseen beneath the table that made the redhead blush and giggle. Riley and Rupert exchanged a look, both shocked at the girlish outburst from their normally serious and often prudish friend.
Josh glanced down the table; Jason and Sally were barely paying attention, having resumed staring daggers at each other. He frowned, what on earth had gone on between them. He'd never seen Jason so intense.
"OK, each pick one of your stats and boost it by 5, your choice, But decrease the corresponding one by 5 as well. So if you choose to boost strength, then decrease intelligence and vice versa. Wisdom pairs with constitution, and charisma with dexterity."
Jason finally broke his death stare and turned to Josh. "Wait, what's the point of that?"
"The point is, you can choose an advantage for your character, but there's a trade-off for balance. Hopefully it will provide adversity to be overcome."
"Well, Baboosha is extremely charismatic," Bella purred.
Josh grinned. "Downside is she can barely tie her shoelaces without falling over."
Bella's pout dissolved into a giggle. "She wears only zip-up boots."
"I'll be choosing strength," Antoinette said. "Can I have a weapon?"
