Welcome to the 10th instalment.

John Smith had an injection of contaminated testosterone, causing major changes to his reproductive system. He now needs frequent sex to survive and long term female friends Sophia, Janet and Adriana jump in to help him. John has an unexpected re-occurrence of his blackout and is rushed to hospital for a second time. While there Linda arranges for the nursing staff to help with his treatments. John is coming to terms with having sex with other women and finds himself attracted to another woman at the hospital. Glenda and Bronwyn have agreed to help with John's treatments. The pharmaceutical company tries to spy on them at the hospital, home and office. John is helped by another sufferer from the injection, Matt, who is a security consultant.

All sex participants are 18 years or older.

All people, activities and anything resembling facts are a figment of my imagination and may not match anything in real life.

Biology and medicine are not my strongest points and sex is just a hobby, so I have not been encumbered by any silly preconceptions.

Expect some ridiculous ideas as I alter reality to fit my perception of life.

You possibly will not find any major new ideas. I read a lot and hard to know if I have any originality at all, or am I just regurgitating stuff. I like to think I have my own twist which stops me feeling guilty.

Yes, it does look like a harem story because it is one. If this genre does not interest you then read no further.

Thursday Day 25

It took a while but they were all off to work except for the twins who were stuck home studying for their next exam. John was taking Bronwyn with him as she had left her car at her apartment. They first were calling in to see Janet before going to the office to talk to her about the latest events. John remembered to take the electronic devices that Matt had loaned them, after Linda remembered it and reminded Bronwyn not to forget it.

Janet and Adriana met them them at front door, each gave the usual greeting of hugs and kisses, with double helpings for John after he had put his bag on the ground. Even Bronwyn gave him a hello hug and kiss which got everyone chuckling. Adriana was really pleased to see John unexpectedly as she had hoped to next see him over the weekend at the earliest. Her exam schedule was during the same time period as the twins so she was nose deep into books and notes. Such was her joy that she would not let go of him to make the most of the situation. Janet and Adriana were about to start asking questions but John held his finger to his lips to ask for silence.

He went to the kitchen and opened his bag and took out the two devices. He turned on the listening device detector then coughed, and after getting the green light he faced Janet and Adriana who were getting very curious if a bit annoyed at this weird behaviour. Janet had even become concerned he was having another hallucination episode. Only Bronwyn was there acting like he was normal kept from making comment.

"Sorry for this cloak and dagger stuff, but please just give us a minute and I will explain. Bronnie could you check the rest of the house? Just cough when you push the button and check the lights."

"Okay John, back in a minute."

"Janet, Adriana I need your phones please."

He slipped each one into the checker and found them clear and added the newer protection App to each one. He breathed a sigh of relief when finished.

"Sorry for this but we have been having security issues and needed to be absolutely certain you were not also bugged."

Janet opened her eyes wide, "Bugged! Why would we be bugged?"

"Not specifically you Janet but after the listening devices were found in my rooms at the hospital, we found more at home and in the office as well. Sorry, we could not ring you until we could be sure it was safe," and John went on to fill them in on what had been happening and about meeting and getting help from Matt. At the end of the tale he finished by saying, "So we will need to work out what is the best way to handle the bugs in the office."

Adriana spoke up, "Wow John, you sure are leading an exciting life. Real James Bond stuff."

Chuckling, John responded, "Yea, Linda has become M and calls me 009."

Janet responded with a giggle, "I wonder where the nine came from."

Bronwyn returned with a big smile, "All okay boss, dem dar critters aint come dis way yet," then added to the conversation, "The nine sure wasn't for something described in feet," getting a chuckle from the others.

John thanked Bronwyn for her help. Adriana had to get to an exam but not until she had given John a long hug and kisses, retrieved her bag then got another hug and kiss from him. To stretch it longer she wanted to set time for a date this weekend so she could see him alone to have a chat. This even got John a couple of winks from her. John wasn't certain of his schedule as everything that could have been planned was needing to be changed due to this security issue. He asked her to ring tonight and give him a chance to sort what was happening with Linda, rather than make a time and have to change it. She agreed and left smiling after a wave bye to Bronwyn and Janet and a last kiss and hug from John and good luck wishes from them all for her exam today.

When her daughter had gone Janet said, "You do know we have a standing contract with a security firm for run of the mill items like computer security and document storage. They are not really for this type of counter espionage but it could be assumed we get security scans of the office and equipment as a matter of course. We do handle sensitive corporate matters and would need to demonstrate their interests are being protected. So maybe this guy you met could work through them and disguise the manner of how they are found and dealt with."

John responded with a grin, "Great idea Janet. I knew we needed to talk to you about this."

"Well that was the easy answer, but what does concern me is whether our contracts with regular clients could require us to disclose any security issues. They have not demanded anything other than standard measures, but this level of problem is not normal. It may have nothing to do with the business as it is directed towards you personally, but the bugs are in our offices. I will need to check this and see what impact it might have; could be nothing or might be a right pain in the arse. We''ll sort it out, but just need to be aware of things."

"Thanks Jan I had not thought that far ahead about consequences."

"That's okay John, it's not as though you have had nothing to worry about lately, is it."

It was now time to get to the office before the others were due to start so they could catch everyone early. Bronwyn decided to travel with Janet and they followed John.

"Janet, just to let you know I am now helping John with his treatments."

Janet had a sudden thought and said, "Oh shit!" and waved for John to stop.

"I'm sorry Janet, I thought you would be okay with it as you were there at the hospital before."

"No Bronwyn, that's not it. Can you wait a minute while I check something with John, then we can continue," by this time John was at her car window with a curious look as Janet got out and led him back up the road a little. Bronwyn now curious, watched them until Janet waved for her to join them.

"John I have watched enough spy movies to know that cars can be bugged as well. have you checked any cars?"

"Shit, no I haven't. I will get the gizmo and see if it reads anything. He went to the bag in his passenger seat and removed the device and turned it on. The light showed red. He went to Janet's car and tried it and it was green. he shook his head but gave a sigh at the same time and returned to the women at the roadside.

"Janet you are a genius, Matt had checked the car at the hospital but that was Linda's. He obviously didn't realise I had a second car. Your car is okay, but mine is red. I will ring Matt for advice after we get to work."

They each gave him a quick hug and kiss to try help boost his morale as he was looking fatigued with the stress of this intrusion into his private life. Soon they were back on the road and Janet picked up the conversation again.

"Sorry for the scare Bronnie, but the idea I got scared me and I overreacted a bit. But as it turns out it was not so stupid after all. Have a think back on what you and John talked about in his car this morning in case we need to do some damage control later.

"Getting back to our discussion I think it is great you will be with us. I knew you would say yes as I have noticed how you are with John around," she looked across at the younger woman seeing her frown, "Just like the rest of us females who are smitten with him. I have never met a man like him before and I doubt there could be another like him anywhere. He naturally puts women at their ease and makes them feel so worthwhile in themselves, amongst many other things. Some men can do this a little, but he takes it to a whole new level. He does not even realise what he does to us, or for us which makes him even more of a dear."

Bronwyn nodded her head in agreement as she thought over the way he had always made her feel good about herself despite some of the things she had to do to survive. He never even cared about these things after she had confided in him except in how it had affected herself.

Janet continued, "I guess the main thing we need to sort out is how we can manage him. He is one person and although he has pressing regular needs we do not want to be falling over each other all the time. I do know Linda enjoys being with him during his times, but she also realises this cannot be every time, thank goodness. Nothing against Linda and she is so giving and never imposes, much, but John is different when alone with you and this can be really nice. He still gets the guilts or if Linda is there his mind often wanders to her and then he worries about her. It is sweet but frustrating if he pauses at the wrong moment."

"OMG Jan you mean he can be better when he is alone with you. That makes the mind boggle as he was like a fantasy come true for me with Linda there."

"So right, fantasy fits him perfectly."

They settled back to normal humdrum subjects until they reached the office parking next to John. Arriving at the building they found that only Barry was in the office this early. Bronwyn went up to the apartment to change into her work outfit and John asked Janet if she could shepherd everyone upstairs as they arrived and make certain they had their mobile phones with them. Janet said she would use the cover of the upcoming arrival of the client representative as pretext for the meeting, and nobody went anywhere without a phone in their hand. They would discuss any work required to the apartment as the reason for meeting up there.

John went upstairs to wait for arrivals and asked Bronwyn if she could organise some drinks up here from the office supplies. Bronwyn agreed and left on her errand, she even managed some fresh pastries from their usual cafe down the road. It was ready by the time the entire staff were in the unit. As each staff member arrived John asked a favour to check their phones, telling them there had been a hack attempt reported to him. Nobody said no although they become curious when John forestalled any further discussion until everyone had arrived. They had an informal breakfast discussing various minor things over coffee and pastries. John was especially pleased that they were all here as there were so many days when someone was working out of the office.

After downing the last of his pastry and coffee he got their attention, "Thank you for coming up here this morning, I realise this is unusual but there has been some abnormal things occurring lately and you need a fuller explanation. I will go through some personal things regarding my health problems that have a direct bearing on the reason for this meeting. Please bear with me and hopefully I can explain it enough. I have said some things to each of you about my condition but I will go through a full description so I know you all have the information.

"A month ago I had an injection of testosterone as my body was not producing enough. As it turns out the serum used was contaminated and it caused some major changes in my body. After the first time in hospital I found out what treatment was necessary to maintain a normal life. Unfortunately the problem worsened and I returned to the hospital for a second time. This was partly due to the condition getting progressively worse, but also because I had not acted on the warning signs in time. I am much better armed against that now and hopefully will not go through that again.

"I and the other men affected by the faulty medicine are suing the company. I also believe the government is pursuing some type of action as well, but I have no direct knowledge of where that is at. Now it seems the pharmaceutical company that produces the serum is a dirty player and they are trying to find out whatever they can do wheedle out of the court action. They have employed private investigators to monitor my actions, lets call it spying. They have managed to place listening devices in the hospital room I was in, my home, car and also in this office."

There was a general rumble of voices as this last part sank in, amidst some faces turning red and angry. Before they could get worse I put my hand up to quieten everybody and continued.

"I have the assistance of a top line security consultant working with me and he can carry out any service required for protection. These bugs had been placed only at the reception counter and in my office. We had the entire office and this apartment inspected last night and so we know exactly what is being used and where it is."

Greg asked, "How did they get these things in the office?"

John answered, "On Tuesday they came in with fake identification from the cleaning company to do an inspection."

Barry dropped his head and groaned, "Oh shit, that was my fault. Damn, I should"

John cut him off, "No Barry it was not your fault, there ID was good and nobody could guess we would have espionage occurring here. It will however bring about some changes in the future, but that is for another day. They timed their visit precisely as both Janet and Bronwyn were out of the office together, they would possibly have known the visit wasn't kosher.

"Continuing on, the consultant we have will be coming in for what we will call our regular security visit. He will officially find the devices and dispose of them. His name is Matt and he owns Strongun Securities but will be working through our usual firm we use for normal security items. We will also take the opportunity to update the computer network systems for better hacking security."

Barry spoke up, "I have met Matt before, he is a computer and security genius. But he sure looks like a computer geek, a puff of wind would blow him around."

Bronwyn said, "I think you may have trouble recognising him now. You will find he has changed a little bit."

John continued, "Until Matt has cleared our offices I ask you all to be careful in what you say. They are listening to get something on me not the business, but I would not put it past them to use something if they think money could be earned. We do deal with proprietary information and several companies who take security very seriously. I think provided you are not in the same room as the bug normal voices should be okay. And your phones are clear, and the tester also uploaded additional protection to your phones," and agreement was made by all to being careful in the office.

Barry then asked a further question, "John I know you mentioned in the past some of your health problems but I am not really sure what you are having a problem with. Can you give us more information, unless you would rather not. No worries to me if not, but I was curious and I think the others are as well."

This comment started a round of nodding heads of which Greg noticed only three heads moved. He got to thinking that only Barry, Paula and himself were showing any obvious curiosity. He knew that John and Linda were very close to Janet outside the office so it stands to reason she may know more than them, but he could not fathom how Bronwyn would know anything.

Greg spoke up, "John I think we should tell you that we are more than just wondering as there has been some speculation in the office. Just rumours mind you and it doesn't only involve those of us here now, oh and our wives as well, they are worse than us," the last said with a grin, "but I think we need to know something so we can just go forward from here. Clients have asked, but I would not pass any personal information to them. It is just that we also saw some news reports that popped up the first time you went to hospital. This could be coincidence,but it makes us wonder."

Greg did not miss John's glance toward Janet and her small nod in return. Barry and Paula also noticed the exchange between the two. The three also noticed that Bronwyn was not reacting at all.

"I just have to say that it is a very personal thing and not something normally talked about in public. But you are correct in one thing that I should fill you in, because I have a feeling I can guess what your speculation is based upon. From what I know this can be misinterpreted," and he glanced toward Bronwyn making her blush. Again this exchange was noticed, as there were only a few people in the room with all their attention toward one person.

"Let me grab another coffee and I will take a minute to form how I can tell you some things."

As he made to move Janet was quickly grabbing the coffee pot and poured him a cup as Bronwyn passed a pastry to him. He thanked them and quietly thought to himself as he ate and drank. The others remained silent to give him space to think without disturbance. They were very curious as they had heard many noises and voices during lunchtimes coming from his office. Firstly when Linda had been abnormally visiting him every day, and then Janet was in there when Linda did not come. Muted sounds could be heard amidst the occasional louder sound.

John finished his deliberations and whispered to Janet, "I do not want to involve you in this but I think they are guessing that we have been up to something in my office all those lunchtimes. We did get a little loud at times despite how hard we tried."

"John, I am a big girl and I do not believe anyone here would hold anything against either you or me for what we have needed to do. Remember this is real medical treatment for your health, regardless of our feelings and emotions. We cannot stop it and I would walk out that door now if I had to choose between you and my job here. You are much too important to me. I am certain Bronwyn feels the same, but see if you can keep her involvement quiet for the time being. She is young despite how mature she seems."

John nodded in agreement and thanked her for the advice and turned to the others, "Okay, sorry for the silence and whispers but my problems involve other people and I must be careful not to embarrass anyone. I know I do not have to say this but please do not speak of this to anyone else, well Greg, Barry you can tell Harriet and Karen. But they must not pass anything on because, apart from potential embarrassment to others, there is a pending lawsuit involved."

Barry, Greg and Paula each spoke up to say they would remain quiet about this. They each knew John fairly well and he was liked a lot by them and there was no way they would want him or his wife Linda hurt.
