Author's notes:
This is an Alternate Reality story, where Atlantis, which the inhabitants called Baylon, was real and inhabited by a powerful humanoid race called Baylons.
About half the story happens in the bronze age and I've researched a lot for this story. If you find anything that looks like a mistake in the story, please double check to be sure that you're correct and then PM me about it. :)
A note about the language and notation:
The Baylon language is a predecessor to Latin, which is why it looks like Latin at a glance.
Mental communication is denoted by a < and ends with a >, so a mental communication will look like this: "< Who are you? >"
Some warnings
: This is erotic action adventure, meaning that there will be both sex and violence, but I don't mix the two.
It's a long story and I suggest that you read them continuously (At least for a first time read).
This story is posted on the Literotica website and the author does not give permission for it to be reposted or reprinted anywhere else without consent.
P.S. I haven't gotten an editor yet, so any mistakes are mine. Interested editors are welcome :)

Chapter 6 -- Flashback: An unexpected visit
Arcem Discendi in Lescare.
An evening two week after the incident with Jia, I was sitting in my bed playing on my lute, trying to get the melody right, when there was a knock on the door.
"Come in." I said loudly and looked up from the lute.
The door opened and Verina walked in followed by Jia. "Hi Ivah... We decided that you could use some company."
"You're always welcome." I said and meant it. Both Verina and Jia were good company in general and the fact that they looked fantastic didn't hurt one bit.
Lately we had spent a lot of evenings together and Jia had turned out to be as intelligent and fun as Verina, once she got over her initial shyness.
"Good." Said Verina with a smile. She jumped onto the bed and sat cross-legged next to me, while Jia settled down in the room's only chair. "What did Jia's mother say? I saw the two of you talking yesterday."
I shrugged. Besides being Jia's mother, Yang Zheng was one of my martial arts teachers and after training the day before, she had pulled me aside and thanked me for healing Yang Jia.
"Not much. She thanked me." I glanced at her. "Why do you ask?"
"Curiosity." She informed me. "Was that really all?"
To my surprise, Jia said, "Verina, stop prying... You don't need to know everything."
It was the first time I had heard the Lescarian use that tone of voice to Verina, and I suddenly understood why Verina had fallen for her. This was not a local girl in awe of our powers; this was a young noble woman, who saw herself as an equal to us and somehow, that made her sexy.
"Killjoy." Mumbled Verina but changed the subject. "So, what're going to do?"
"Listen to music, while we relax." Said Jia with a smile and nodded in the direction of the lute that was still resting in my lap.
Verina lit up in a smile. "Good idea."
"Only if we take turns playing," I said, "I'm not going to play all the time."
Verina leaned back against the wall, "Fair enough."
We played music and talked for a while, taking turns on the lute, so none of us had to play all the time. Verina was playing and I was relaxing in the bed along with Jia, when the half-Lescarian suddenly giggled and said, "Good thing my mother can't see us now. She would be angry."
"Why?" I asked surprised.
Jia shrugged. "She has plans for me to marry a noble someday."
That statement caused Verina to hit a few wrong notes and me to laugh.
Verina moved next to Jia on the bed and glared at me. "Not funny, Ivah."
"Relax, it's not gonna happen." I stated confidently and added. "Not unless Yang Zheng wants to start a war and I doubt that."
Jia looked puzzled. "I don't understand. Mother have already arranged for my sister Hao to marry a noble without any problems."
"Your mother can keep her plans to Hao." Said Verina firmly. "Your sister seems to look forward to be married to some noble."
Jia nodded. "I pity that noble. Hao is as marked from growing up here as I am, and she doesn't really fit into the role of a normal noble woman." She looked at us. "But I still don't understand this talk about a war."
I glanced over at Verina and then at Jia again. "If your mother arranged for you to be married against your will, Verina would kill that person, before the wedding could ever happen."
