Succubus Inquisition ch 11
Several months have passed since the Kitsune Bree had found her long lost lover Yshomatsu in the wilderness. Their history was filled with demonic influences but her genuine love for him had blossomed quickly, even back then. It was that love that had motivated her to rebel against the succubus Meridiana. The same demon that had corrupted her human body into the fox creature she was now. A lot transpired since that defining moment and even though there was much more to do, she enjoyed the quiet months in the mountains with her lover.
She had informed him of everything she knew during their time together and it had been decided that another attack on the obsidian tower was in order. However, the angelic dragons were still growing. They were the size of large horses now and Ysho feared that rushing into battle too soon would be a fatal mistake for them. Would waiting end up being a worst mistake though? He had been tasked with raising a new generation of angels and his biggest fear was losing them.
In ancient times demons had ruled over mankind when dragons first came to their world. The dragons fought off the demons, freeing humanity, only to be hunted down and killed off by those they saved in the following ages. Ysho feared history repeating itself once they revealed themselves. Although he believed in the angels to be capable in the war to come. He simply enjoyed watching them grow up, enjoying the simple moments like a group hunt or chilling by the fire.
Once they began down the path of war, they might never have another quiet moment together. Yet Bree cautioned that someone powerful had taken Meridiana's place in her absence. She didn't know who, just that they had been strong enough to capture Athanatos and Amber. The former was Ysho's apprentice and lifelong friend. The monks were both over a hundred years old thanks to the old dragon Dragus' magic.
Speaking of Dragus, the young, reincarnated bronze dragon had been the first to speak. He had all the memories of his older self but felt different. He had been honored to be named after his older self and yet, felt like someone new. Ysho sat by their large bonfire many nights talking with the young dragon as all the others looked at them with curiosity.
Over the months they discussed many different plans of attack. Only one thing was mutually agreed upon, the tower had to be destroyed. Rescuing Athan and Amber would be Ysho, and Bree's top priority. While destroying the tower would fall to the dragons. Perhaps their combined might would be enough to bring down the cursed volcano glass structure.
In the meantime, Ysho began instructing the young drakes in the art of war. Using their hunts to practice formation flying and attacking, including hit and run tactics. Even though the others hadn't spoken yet, they still acted as if they could understand one another, as if reading each other's minds. The monk looked forward to the day he could have conversations with each of them.

"They're almost ready, but I'm not sure I ever will be." The monk said somberly, staring into the crackling bonfire. Bree snuggled up to him, basking in the warmth.
"You aren't at fault for what happened. A lesser man would have completely given in where you managed to resist."
"I didn't resist enough, so many have died because I brought the demon into the world."
"But you did resist... you have to remember that. Because of you I am free, and the world has a chance."
"You would have been safer never meeting me."
"And live as a servant in a tavern, it wasn't a safe life. I was at risk any time I turned down a man. Meridiana gave me power but under her influence it was just another cage. It was you that turned that curse into a blessing. Now your apprentice is in trouble and the longer we wait the less likely we'll be able to save him."
Ysho gave a sad smile, cupping Bree's cheek before leaning in. Their kiss was soft but meaningful. When it ended, he simply said thank you, hugging her tighter. They sat in silence as he thought. He knew she was right. Had the demon targeted someone else the entire world might have been doomed already. However, there was a part that she was wrong about. It was her that gave him the strength or rather the desire to resist. For all the pleasure the demon could provide paled in comparison of her love.
In his quiet contemplation he realized the young dragons curled around the bonfire had wandered off. That's when he felt the hand that had been resting on his leg sliding higher. He looked at his love with a kind smile even as she started to be mischievous. They had been separated for a long time; he missed her touch more than he had realized.
Her touch clearly excited him, encouraging her to take it further. Before long, her hand was in his robes and his breathing had gotten heavy.
They stared into each other's eyes with deep longing. Bree smiled, almost blushing as she climbed into his lap, holding his gaze with all her love, leaning back in for another passionate kiss.
"You have no idea how much I missed you," she purred in between kisses, getting more intimate by the moment, grinding herself against his bulge. "The demon left me with urges I struggle to control. Only you have brought me true peace," her face flushed brightly before she looked away, suddenly feeling shy.
"Who helped you in my absence?" He wouldn't have asked but her obvious embarrassment made him curious. The question escaped his lips before he realized it. He didn't know how he would handle hearing she found comfort from another man.
"Amber..." She mumbled, undoing his robes, revealing his excitement. It was evident in her expression that she loved the way his body trembled at her touch, like butterflies in the stomach. It was obvious that he missed her.
"Athan's demon? Are you sure that was wise?" He asked before moaning in distraction. She had used that moment to climb further onto his lap, taking him within herself. He slid within her wet and eager pussy as if he belonged there.
"Athan was missing just as you were. She protected me when she could have fled. She cared, truly cared and I repaid her kindness by abandoning her in the tower. I'll always regret myself for fleeing like that." Her legs encircled his waist, ankles interlocking behind his back.
His hands slid up her back, fur formed and vanished as she quivered in his grasp. "Now we'll rescue them both."
