Succubus Inquisition ch 11

Several months have passed since the Kitsune Bree had found her long lost lover Yshomatsu in the wilderness. Their history was filled with demonic influences but her genuine love for him had blossomed quickly, even back then. It was that love that had motivated her to rebel against the succubus Meridiana. The same demon that had corrupted her human body into the fox creature she was now. A lot transpired since that defining moment and even though there was much more to do, she enjoyed the quiet months in the mountains with her lover.

She had informed him of everything she knew during their time together and it had been decided that another attack on the obsidian tower was in order. However, the angelic dragons were still growing. They were the size of large horses now and Ysho feared that rushing into battle too soon would be a fatal mistake for them. Would waiting end up being a worst mistake though? He had been tasked with raising a new generation of angels and his biggest fear was losing them.

In ancient times demons had ruled over mankind when dragons first came to their world. The dragons fought off the demons, freeing humanity, only to be hunted down and killed off by those they saved in the following ages. Ysho feared history repeating itself once they revealed themselves. Although he believed in the angels to be capable in the war to come. He simply enjoyed watching them grow up, enjoying the simple moments like a group hunt or chilling by the fire.

Once they began down the path of war, they might never have another quiet moment together. Yet Bree cautioned that someone powerful had taken Meridiana's place in her absence. She didn't know who, just that they had been strong enough to capture Athanatos and Amber. The former was Ysho's apprentice and lifelong friend. The monks were both over a hundred years old thanks to the old dragon Dragus' magic.

Speaking of Dragus, the young, reincarnated bronze dragon had been the first to speak. He had all the memories of his older self but felt different. He had been honored to be named after his older self and yet, felt like someone new. Ysho sat by their large bonfire many nights talking with the young dragon as all the others looked at them with curiosity.

Over the months they discussed many different plans of attack. Only one thing was mutually agreed upon, the tower had to be destroyed. Rescuing Athan and Amber would be Ysho, and Bree's top priority. While destroying the tower would fall to the dragons. Perhaps their combined might would be enough to bring down the cursed volcano glass structure.

In the meantime, Ysho began instructing the young drakes in the art of war. Using their hunts to practice formation flying and attacking, including hit and run tactics. Even though the others hadn't spoken yet, they still acted as if they could understand one another, as if reading each other's minds. The monk looked forward to the day he could have conversations with each of them.

"They're almost ready, but I'm not sure I ever will be." The monk said somberly, staring into the crackling bonfire. Bree snuggled up to him, basking in the warmth.

"You aren't at fault for what happened. A lesser man would have completely given in where you managed to resist."

"I didn't resist enough, so many have died because I brought the demon into the world."

"But you did resist... you have to remember that. Because of you I am free, and the world has a chance."

"You would have been safer never meeting me."

"And live as a servant in a tavern, it wasn't a safe life. I was at risk any time I turned down a man. Meridiana gave me power but under her influence it was just another cage. It was you that turned that curse into a blessing. Now your apprentice is in trouble and the longer we wait the less likely we'll be able to save him."

Ysho gave a sad smile, cupping Bree's cheek before leaning in. Their kiss was soft but meaningful. When it ended, he simply said thank you, hugging her tighter. They sat in silence as he thought. He knew she was right. Had the demon targeted someone else the entire world might have been doomed already. However, there was a part that she was wrong about. It was her that gave him the strength or rather the desire to resist. For all the pleasure the demon could provide paled in comparison of her love.

In his quiet contemplation he realized the young dragons curled around the bonfire had wandered off. That's when he felt the hand that had been resting on his leg sliding higher. He looked at his love with a kind smile even as she started to be mischievous. They had been separated for a long time; he missed her touch more than he had realized.

Her touch clearly excited him, encouraging her to take it further. Before long, her hand was in his robes and his breathing had gotten heavy.

They stared into each other's eyes with deep longing. Bree smiled, almost blushing as she climbed into his lap, holding his gaze with all her love, leaning back in for another passionate kiss.

"You have no idea how much I missed you," she purred in between kisses, getting more intimate by the moment, grinding herself against his bulge. "The demon left me with urges I struggle to control. Only you have brought me true peace," her face flushed brightly before she looked away, suddenly feeling shy.

"Who helped you in my absence?" He wouldn't have asked but her obvious embarrassment made him curious. The question escaped his lips before he realized it. He didn't know how he would handle hearing she found comfort from another man.

"Amber..." She mumbled, undoing his robes, revealing his excitement. It was evident in her expression that she loved the way his body trembled at her touch, like butterflies in the stomach. It was obvious that he missed her.

"Athan's demon? Are you sure that was wise?" He asked before moaning in distraction. She had used that moment to climb further onto his lap, taking him within herself. He slid within her wet and eager pussy as if he belonged there.

"Athan was missing just as you were. She protected me when she could have fled. She cared, truly cared and I repaid her kindness by abandoning her in the tower. I'll always regret myself for fleeing like that." Her legs encircled his waist, ankles interlocking behind his back.

His hands slid up her back, fur formed and vanished as she quivered in his grasp. "Now we'll rescue them both."

"Yes!" She cried out, pressing their lips harder together. "She's nothing like her mother."

He didn't know if he believed that, but he didn't care at that moment. He held his lover's head in his hands, curling fingers in her hair and kissing her back. Her hips rolled against him making his eyes roll back. He didn't want to admit how much he missed this. Her touch, the feeling of her around him.

For a while he saw everything sexual as a connection to the demon, and felt guilt every time he got turned on. For had he been stronger and resisted the succubi's charms the world would have been safe. Instead, he doomed his entire order and possibly the rest of humanity along with them. Although they resisted and fought back eventually, many more had died in the meantime.

All this time raising the dragons he had believed they had lost that battle at the obsidian tower. The fight he fled from after falling under Meridiana's spell and being responsible for Dragus' death. He broke free of her spell, but it had already been too late, and thus he fled, like a coward.

Bree kept him distracted before his mood soured from all those thoughts. The feeling of her hot body was enough to pull him back to reality. The bonfire heated their flesh as they intertwined with one another.

"You feel amazing my love," he moaned, hands holding her tightly. Blue sparks were forming in her eyes, crackling like bolts of lightning. Her hips sped up, leaving him speechless. Then her two tails stood straight up behind her... wait four, no five tails.

"How many tails do you have now?" He tried to say. It came out jumbled between his moans and grunts as she rode him like her life depended on getting his seed.

Instead of answering she pressed her lips against his, harder, more desperate than before. The blue sparks danced down his cheeks, tickling his face. He almost giggled but then her nails dug into his back, catching him off guard. His body reacted as if an actual bolt of lightning had struck him. The shock shot straight down his body to his groin and his body convulsed in climatic eruption. It felt like the orgasm had been pulled from his body with how it struck so suddenly.

"I needed you more than I realized," Bree said breathlessly, still staring as him, admiringly. The blue sparks dancing around her eyes calming down as she cuddled up tighter against him. She had taken his breath away and he was content to bask in the warmth of the fire, staring back into her eyes.

At some point the bonfire had died down and the night's chill embraced them. Not that their naturally hot bodies ever noticed. They remained intertwined in each other's arms even after sleep had taken them. Her many tails had wrapped around him like a possessive, fluffy blanket.

Back at the obsidian tower Lena the necromancer walked into her mistress' throne room, admiring the two she had posed together on the large intimidating chair. Athanatos and Amber's bodies were but puppets for her amusement. Their souls had been sent to Meridiana in the astral plane. A place the monks called the dream state apparently.

The necromancer sat in the center of the room; legs crossed Indian style. She pulled her black robe from under herself and straightened her back, her long silky smooth, black hair almost touched the floor. She planed on learning the demon, her mistress' progress on corrupting Athan's soul. For that she had to concentrate on her breathing and focus her mind. Transferring her consciousness into the astral plane was not an easy task for her. This would be her third time doing it and it still felt unnatural to her. One would think it would come naturally to her considering she dealt with the dead. However, it made her skin crawl when her spirit left her body.

Her astral projected body formed in a long hallway with its stone walls morphing into a strange honeycomb structured hallway. It appeared like the thing had taken over everything beyond the point it started at. She wasn't alone though, three catgirls stood before her, dressed in sexy maid outfits.

The one in the middle with orange hair glanced back at her, sniffing the air, and smirked, "what do we have here?"

The other two turned around, encircling her like prey, licking their lips, before revealing their sharp teeth. "She looks tasty," another one said. Lena gulped, feeling vulnerable for the first time in a very long time. Outside of her body she couldn't feel any of the earthy ley lines that fueled her power. She took a deep breath and could practically taste honey coming from that long hallway.

"I'm lo-looking for Meridiana..." she said much quieter than she had intended to.

"Oh, you're so adorable," the orange haired catgirl purred into her ear, sliding along her side. The maid curled her fingers through Lena's hair, making the powerful necromancer shiver.

"L-listen, can you just point me to her?"

"She's in there," one of them pointed into the honeycomb tunnel. "But you don't want to go in there, trust me." Lena felt that shiver run straight down between her legs and her knees buckled.

"I'm a powerful Necromancer," she blurted out, trying to reassert some sort of control. However, the three ladies laughed, pressing in around her. Their soft bodies were warm which only made her shiver more.

"Not here you aren't," the orange haired maid said softly into her ear. Her sharp nailed hand caressed Lena's fit stomach, sending butterflies fluttering through her. The necromancer felt naked even though the long black robe was tied tightly around her body.

More hands were on her, massaging and scratching her just right. She felt all of her confidence melt away as her body went limp in their embraces. Was this how she had made Athan feel when she dominated his mind? The mere thought of submitting sent a strong pulse of pleasure down between her legs. The liquid dripping down her legs made her blush with embarrassment.

Then the robe came undone, and she panicked. The orange haired catgirl's hand slid down her belly, touching her clit. Lena jolted as if waking from a dream.

The obsidian walls of the tower came back into focus as her heart fluttered quickly in her chest, almost painfully so. She swore she could hear laughter faintly, as if carried by the wind. Lena was completely out of breath, and it took a while before she regained her composure, robe soaked, see-through and sticking to her like a second skin.

She had known Meridiana had a castle full of women she had conquered. But she never expected to feel so powerless like that. Not to mention she didn't learn anything about the demon's progress in corrupting Athan's soul. Meridiana's whole plan for her grand return into the world. It was kind of important!

On a cloudless night with bright stars shining from above Bree held on tight to Yshomatsu's broad, scaled shoulders. The monk was once again in his dragon form, soaring through the cold night air. Her tiny hands grasping little handholds between the large red scales. All of the young dragons were flying in formation around him. Bree still struggled with the notion that they were actually angels, of divine origins. If they survived the trails ahead, she would have to ask Ysho more about that.

They were still young and even though they flew for war they carried on during their flight like children. Neltharion kept doing barrel rolls when Ysho wasn't looking or soaring between his siblings. Each time their formation would falter with the others struggling to remain focused. They would snap at one another and switch positions with their own unique flourishes. Sometimes even giving in to their own inner child's and showing off before returning to formation.

In truth the shape-shifted monk knew the young dragons weren't behaving. He simply let it slide since they had a long journey ahead of them. Let them enjoy the little fun moments together before their reality became hell. The last time he flew for war old Dragus--the last dragon at the time--didn't survive. Ysho hoped this time would be different. So, he didn't want to interrupt the young ones from having their fun, internally smiling as he listened to them carry on.

Deep down though, Yshomatsu hoped they weren't too late. He had delayed their rescue mission in hopes that the dragons would be mature enough to handle the travesty that may follow.

For days they traveled by night, sleeping during the day. Thinking it would be wise to keep hidden from the world as they flew. Ysho didn't know what kind of network the new big bad within the tower had. A surprise attack would give them the best odds of success. Or so he hoped. Not to mention he wanted to avoid confrontation with normal people as well. He knew they wouldn't be able to handle seeing seven dragons flying over their houses, or towns.

One of the days they hid among the trees. Five of the dragons cuddled up into a big ball and went to sleep. Skylla, however, always kept to herself when they stopped. The chilled aura surrounding her kept the others from snuggling against her like they did with one another for warmth and comfort. She was a solitary creature compared to the rest of them. However, Ysho could see in her eyes that she longed for the comfort the others shared.

On this particular occasion though, she stayed close. Ysho and Bree were sitting next to each other and Skylla sat nearby, slightly off from the fire they had made. The bitter cold chill from the white dragon's body barely reached the two as they held each other in their arms. The white dragon tilted her head as she watched them simply enjoying the presence of one another.

"Are all people like you two?" She asked with curiosity. Bree's eyes lit up as she glanced towards the youngest of the dragons.

"You spoke!" She exclaimed excitedly.

"They have been able to for a while now," Ysho chuckled, "I've overheard them speaking amongst themselves these past few days."

"Oh? I'm sorry for not noticing. I knew Dragus was speaking." Her cheeks flushed before she tucked in closer to her lover.

"Wasn't ready for you to know," Skylla responded deadpanning as she watched them, before her head tilted the other way. "Curious though."

"When two people fall in love I imagine they'd act like we have been." Ysho answered her question with a smile, hugging Bree tighter.

"Love..." Skylla spoke, glancing back at the cluster of siblings for but a moment before turning towards the sky. They watched her expecting the young dragon to say more but she simply stared off into the distance as if in deep thought.

For a while longer the three of them enjoyed each other's company in silence. Each of them thinking about the days to come.

Bree held on tight as Yshomatsu dove into the clouds. The young dragons following close behind in tight formation. When they broke through the cloud cover, she gasped in shock. An entire army moved upon the ground like ants, surrounding the large menacing obsidian tower. The structure itself gave off an aura of evil that chilled her to the bone.

They circled the tower several times before Neltharion broke formation, diving to strike. For he knew his role in all of this, no sense in delaying or hesitating! His two brothers followed mere seconds later. Bree watched helplessly on Ysho's large shoulders as the three closed in on their prey. Lightning, sand, and powerful sound waves blasted the massive undead army in chaotic lines of destruction.

The massive army screamed in unison as if they shared a collective mind. Humongous weapons of war quickly took aim before returning fire, narrowly missing the soaring dragons as they dove in fast, striking and retreating. The three of them soared in and around each other between strikes. A tactic that may have had more psychological effect if their foes weren't the living dead.

"They expected company, look at those things!" Bree yelled out; her voice barely heard over the wind. She pointed to the large weapons.

Alexandra roared with rage before breaking off from Yshomatsu's lead. The red dragon glanced back towards Katla and Skylla, motioning for them to follow her. Katla the green dragon obeyed instantly but Skylla didn't. The monk in dragon form hadn't noticed her hanging back though as he was actively searching for a way into the tower.

For he had to trust in the young dragons to keep the army distracted. They needed to make use of the time given to them to sneak inside undetected. Bree was right that it looked like they had expected an attack. He had to hope they hadn't expected six youthful dragons.

And there it was... the opening he was searching for. A balcony that blended in with the rest of the tower. At first glance the menacing structure appeared to only have the stairs at the very peak. However, he imagined that entrance would be well guarded as an expected entry point. He remembered as if it was yesterday that Meridiana rose from those steps. His heart filled with sorrow remember how that all ended with him waking from her trance to find Dragus dead by his talons.

That's why he had wasted several rotations before spotting a better entry with the balcony. He wasn't eager to meet the one that filled Meridiana's power vacuum.

"Hold on!" He called out against the wind. When he felt his love brace herself, he dove. Closing in on the balcony too fast, landing hard, and destroying the railing. His upper arms held on as he flapped large wings to keep from falling off and plummeting to the ground. In his current form he was much larger than the balcony he had landed upon. Bree quickly jumped from his shoulders and entered the tower on her tip toes, entering stealth mode, so to speak.
