Salem Revisited
In the fall of 1969, Bridget Bishop and John Hathorne enter the Salem College of the Arts in Salem, Massachusetts. Salem College of the Arts is a small exclusive Liberal Arts College that is very popular with writers. Many well know writers have studied there, but finished their educational degrees elsewhere. Edgar Allen Poe was one of its first successful writers to attend. Following in his footsteps were Dram Stoker and Mary Shelley. It has been rumored that Steven King also studies there although King has never publicly acknowledged that.
Bridget Bishop is a very fair skinned beauty. She stands at 5' 7" tall and weighs 115 pounds. She has very nicely shaped breasts and an hourglass figure with one of the most amazing asses you will ever see. It is a very rare occasion when a man does not turn his head and look, more like stare, when she walks by. Her skin is almost bleached white, but she never burns nor tans. She has pitch black hair and dark eyes that only make her more alluring. She literally is the subject of many young men's dreams.
John Hathorne is a fine looking young man himself, standing 6' 2" tall with a very athletic build and muscular frame. Looking at him, you'd think he is a star athlete, but he is anything but. John has the looks, but not an athletic bone in his body. As a result, John tends to the shy side.
The first class of the year was a Creative Writing class for incoming freshman. Bridget was one of the first students to arrive and took the back seat on the next to last isle. When John arrived, he took the seat next to her on the window side. Bridget introduced herself and John was instantly in love. Her smile just made him melt. He was speechless for several seconds and Bridget broke the ice by laughing and saying, "aren't you going to tell me your name."
The first author they studied was Poe, "Cast of Amontillado." It immediately set a dark tone for the class. In the middle of class Bridget leaned over to John and said, "I can see you walled in with a brick wall" and had a hearty laugh that disrupted the class. John looked at her and joined in her laugh, although a much more subdued laugh.
Their next class was illustration and John and Bridget again sat next to each other. Their first assignment was to pick a Poe story and come up with their own illustration for the various scenes in the story. Bridget of course started drawing a brick wall, while John drew a cat behind a wall.
Bridget Bishop is a direct descendent of Bridget Bishop, the first person executed in the infamous Salem Witch trials of 1692 and 1693. The Massachusetts Bay Colony secretly paid the family for what we would call today a "wrongful death." The Bishop family used that money to become very wealthy and eventually started the Salem College of the Arts. Since 1892, all of the Bishop girls have attended the College. The Bishop family rarely mention to others that they are descended from the original Bridget, nor that their family started the school.
John Hathorne is a direct descendent of John Hathorne, the judge in Bridget's trial. The Hathorne's are a very Puritanical family and many still believe that the trials were fair, and Bridget got what she deserved. They are very proud of their heritage and almost everyone in Salem Neck, where most of the family still reside, knows that their family took part in the Salem Witch trials. They all grew up with stories of witchcraft and various traits the judge used against the witches.
Over the first several weeks of the school year, John and Bridget became very close friends and on Columbus Day, John finally asked Bridget out. Bridget, playing it ever so cool, gave John a definite maybe. Which John of course took as a yes.
John lived in a dormitory up the hill from the academic region of the campus while Bridget lived in Zeta, Zeta, Zeta Sorority. Zeta of course is the sixth letter in the Greek alphabet and the sorority is often referred to as 666. All of the women living in that Sorority are very light skinned with dark hair and eyes, although some of the girls have colored their hair blonde. They all seemed to always wear black.
John asked around and it turns out that none of his friends had ever stepped foot in that sorority. The only ones who had were members of the Delta Iota Alpha fraternity. They too almost always wore black.
Later that week, John and Bridget were walking back from class, when John again broached the subject of going out. Bridget Invited him to her sorority where he could meet the "Head Mistress."
John thought that title was funny but accepted the invitation immediately. When they got to Bridget's Sorority a couple of her "sisters" were sitting on the porch. Bridget introduced John to Emily, Sarah, and Abby, then asked if John wanted a beer. He of course accepted and Bridget walked inside to get them a couple of beers. While she was away, the other three asked John all sorts of personal questions, including if he was a virgin.
John of course turned beet red and said he was not. The three girls looked him over and saw how red he was and knew he was lying but decided to play it coy for a little bit. Abby took the lead and proclaimed that she thought Bridget was a virgin too. Then said "no woman in this sorority has ever made it to Thanksgiving as a virgin. I think you are a virgin John regardless of your claims." John's cock was stirring throughout this entire conversation and by this time had a full blown hard on.
Abby looked at John's cock and noticed the obvious bulge and said, "only a virgin would be so turned on by this conversation. I'll bet you will be choking that chicken when you get home."
