[Dear Readers,
The Kaela Frost Files is a new creation, and I would really appreciate your feedback using the star rating system and comments. It is my intention to create episodes, not necessarily a series, but really want to hear from you. And yes - I am still writing the next chapter of On a Remote Hilltop. Chapter four should be published soon. :) ]
The Kaela Frost Files - Distracting a Man
The sordid tales of a female intelligence operative.
Four years in and I am still receiving rookie assignments?
Kaela's angst was all internal. It was part of the training, the false persona. In only three years since the academy, she has been six different people not including herself. The latter of which she was unsure if she knew very well anymore.
This assignment would have been easy for nearly anyone if it wasn't for the target.
Kaela had a small role to play in the op; distracting the security guard to allow the team a surprise entry. She would rather be on the strike team. Full body armor and her Sig is what she would prefer, especially when she was feeling angsty and underappreciated.
The element of surprise was crucial, according to the team lead, since they had to capture the people with the equipment and programs running.
She has been on entry teams. She has been shot at and even hit once, and absolutely loved the adrenaline. Her favorite op was taking down a group of semi-sophisticated haters who felt the best way to express their opinion was to blow up a subway station. She had nestled into the group by being the slut of the lead hate monger. Her boss let her be in the raid team to satiate her personal rage that had built during her eight-week assignment.
"Fuck ya." She whispered to herself recalling ripping off her mask before ramming the stock of her rifle into Mr. Hate Monger.
The look on his face
... She reveled in the memory of her payback.
It was only through intense training and intense therapy that allowed her to do the things she needed to do.
Tonight's op would be different. There actually was a reason she was selected for a seemingly simple role, she admitted to herself. The profile of the target made him particularly difficult to distract and therefore required more experience.

And on and on. This guy was not your typical hired help. So, what the hell was he doing standing guard for a hacker cell? Why wasn't it some computer nerd with a drone and a bad need for female attention? This guy was a statue of virtue.
This is why she was handed the assignment on short notice. It was not a rookie job. Whether that thought was pride or her own attempt at self-encouragement, she wasn't sure. She had an assignment, and she was not going to let her team down. She had no intention of failing for her own professional sake, or for the sake of the target.
Kaela pondered the information in the op packet through trained and experienced eyes.
Generally, men are easy to distract. A woman merely needs to show sexual interest and a man can do little to refuse her advances. Moreover, we are trained to be professionals. How to use your sex as a weapon for good, takes up an entire year of study and there are many real-life labs to practice what was learned.
Getting a man into bed is rarely the hard part. Getting the information you want without arising suspicion is an art form, as much as it is a science. Sucking on foul dicks is merely a task that brings you closer to the goal.
Distraction is supposed to be simple. There are multiple approaches to use depending on the target, the environment, and the variables you must work with.
Drunk guy at a bar - slut.
Businessman in the office - compliments, flirty smiles, and shyness.
Hacker/Gamer (aka computer nerd) - be their fantasy by sucking their dick while he plays a video game.
Celebrity - intellectual attention with sultry. (Generally, celebs get tired of bimbos and want a bit more sophistication).
Academic - wide range of kink.
Extremists - passionate support for their cause just makes you horny.
Politician - awe struck virgin innocence with a strong work ethic and a side of kink.
Virtuous men - time.
Typically, well employed family men who pay their taxes, coach their kid's teams, go to church and still find time to volunteer for good causes are not getting into trouble. Therefore, no particular tactic can be pulled from the bag of tricks. The only thing you can do is slowly erode their virtue with sympathy and comfort. Every man needs his little boo-boos soothed by stoking his ego with respectful compliments, and a woman who does that better than his wife will begin making inroads. It just takes time.
I do not have time. I have 10 hours to prepare. He needed to be out of the scene by 7:05 this evening. If I do not succeed, he may have to be killed.
Doctrine states the mission is more important than the man, but this man is not the bad guy. He was just hired to do a job, to make some extra dough.
"Shit!" Kaela tried to bury the moral thinking and focus on the job.
There is no way I can just approach this guy in a dark alley and have him walk away with me for a romp. Maybe I should approach him before he gets to the alley? But he must commit to the job. If he calls in "sick" then someone else will take his place and the problem remains. The dialog in Kaela's head helped her reason through problems.
Kaela's thoughts swirled as she tried to devise her plan of action. The clock was ticking. She intensified her research into Mr. Cluff.

place in the local Tough Mudder race, good networking skills, and not afraid of challenges.
Five years ago, as she was approaching graduation, Kaela attended an on campus recruiting & job fair, and stopped at a booth she did not expect to visit.
She was looking for the big names. The Fortune 500 businesses that are at the forefront of innovation and have plenty of room for advancement and long careers. That is what her parents instilled in her; get an education, get a job, work really hard all your life, then when you are old you can slowly pay yourself with all your savings until you die. Or something like that. It sounded much better before you got out of college.
Kaela walked through the entrance to the fair at full determination speed, not even glancing at the government booths that lined the entry. She saw fatigues and uniforms of various types as she whizzed by on her way to the center area where businesses with big dollars rent large spaces creating interactive entertainment spectacles in an attempt to woo potential candidates.
It was the voice that stopped her momentum and caused her to turn. "Kaela Frost," the voice said rather loudly to grab her attention. "How would you like to be part of something even bigger than where you are going now?"
Kaela looked left toward the person who called her by name, then down to see if she was wearing a name badge. She was not.
The man wore a black suit that looked like he could be in a MIB movie. He stood near the Homeland Security booth which had a few pieces of tech and some brochures, but that was it.
