Day
Their days usually ran the same course, the couple had managed to fall into a perfectly natural routine that seemed to suit them both well. They would wake up, play and enjoy themselves, taking their time to get out of bed before starting their day. Julie had crawled into her husband's arms after their early breakfast, and they had let the warm, Mediterranean sun lick their bodies through the sheer curtains of the large bedroom window. They spoke, kissed, and touched each other until their restlessness outgrew the pull of the large bed.
Julie sprung out of bed with a spring in her step, stretching out her slender body before moving across the floor towards the walk-in closet that connected to the master bedroom. Erik lay in bed, a serenity still washing over him as he watched his wife get ready. Resting on one elbow, he let his eyes wander up and down her body in unapologetic admiration. Julie pulled out a set of running clothes and fresh underwear, stepping into a pair of sheer thongs followed by a pair of running shorts.
She knew that Erik was watching her and even though they had been together for years at this point, the way he looked at her sometimes still sent shivers down her spine. It was an exhilarating performance, making her feel a mix of blushed embarrassment and warm adoration. She never felt more seen or more beautiful, as if her husband saw not only her body but through her to her deepest and most intimate. She smiled and looked back at him, giving Erik a wink as she wiggled her butt at him, playfully shimming into the tight shorts.
Returning to dressing herself, Julie felt a warm smile spread over her lips as his adoration warmed her deeper than any summer sun could. As she finished getting dressed by picking out a pair of running shoes that matched her shorts and top, she heard Erik shuffle out of bed behind her and as she turned to leave the wardrobe, she met his warm eyes. He was walking towards her and for a moment she froze in place, watching his body move and his now flaccid member spring from side to side with each step. Erik paused next to her, leaned in and kissed her cheek softly before giving her butt a playful slap.
"Have a great run baby, I'll make something to eat for when you get back."
He smiled at her and then reached for one of the drawers to fish out a set of clean underwear. With a smile on her lips and her body warm with affection, Julie kissed her husband back before squeezing past him in the door and making her way downstairs. She had a skip in her step, eager to get out and move her legs and feel the wind in her hair. She liked to run in the morning, before the sun was at it's highest and usually before eating a proper breakfast.
On her way through the kitchen though, she grabbed an apple from a large fruit bowl that occupied the corner of the kitchen island. She didn't like feeling weighed down by a meal before running but she needed something to kick start her blood sugar. Her mind betrayed her and reminded her that she had already had some breakfast that morning and a giggle escaped her lips. The idea of her husband's ejaculation in her stomach gave her a warm sense of reassurance, like she carried a part of his love with her.
At the same time, remembering that feeling again, the feeling of being 'good', sent a whole other kind of heat through her body and a blush to her cheeks. She suddenly remembered to breath as she inhaled sharply, returning to the waking world. She giggled to herself again, an amused chuckle and a note to self to make sure to treat that growing fire whenever she got home. She bit down on the apple, sucking the sweet juices into her mouth and ripping a crunchy chunk out of the reddish fruit.
Chewing and swallowing, she headed out the door, down the stone tiled path to the road, past the beautifully trimmed hedges and curated palm trees that lined the front yard. As she reached the road, her apple was not much more than core and with an underhand flick of her wrist, she chucked it into the nearest bush. Kissing her teeth, sucking in some air as she thought out her route for the day, she then decided and let herself flow down the mountain road, one long stride after the other.
In the meantime, Erik had gotten out of bed, dressed in some new underwear and a pair of shorter boat shorts. Erik opened one of the windows and let in the fresh air before he made the bed behind him. Airing out the sheets he let the warmth of their night together disperse and the bed breath. Puffing up the pillows he removed the indents of where his head had pushed back as the wave of ecstasy had hit his central nervous system and shoot out of him in explosive bursts. The shape of their bodies lying wrapped in each other could still be made out in the mattress and Erik spread the bed cover over it, as if to put the memory to bed where it could wait for them both to return to that same spot.
From the wardrobe he had pulled a thin, linen shirt off a hanger and as he walked down the stairs from the second floor, he pulled the fabric over his broad shoulders and left the shirt open. The couple had been deciding on whether to hire a housekeeper for their stay. There had been different options, either for someone staying in the house or for someone to show up and tidy things up every now and then, but the idea of someone else encroaching on their space and entering their little bubble uninvited was not something they were very excited about.
It was worth making your own bed to know that you were the only ones around and that you had assured, definite and absolute privacy. Knowing that he was alone, Erik walked into the kitchen half-dressed and while absent-mindedly rolling up the sleeves of his shirt above his strong forearms, he scanned the kitchen counter for anything to turn into an acceptable breakfast. After going through the fruit bowl, picking out a banana and two kiwis, Erik raided the fridge for a handful of fresh spinach, blueberries, and a locally sourced yoghurt.
They got their groceries through an online service in connection to the house rental, but they had also spent some time the last week visiting local markets and trying out some of the nearby produce. As he began to add fruits and vegetables to a blender, mixing in some chia seeds and flax for fibre, he made a mental note of ordering some more berries. Maybe he could surprise Julie with French toast one of these mornings, he thought to himself as the blender mixed everything smooth.
Erik poured two smoothies, setting one of them in the fridge for Julie when she got back from her run while taking the other for himself. The kitchen was open and connected to the larger living area. The room was slightly lowered and lined with carved stone steps stepping down from the kitchen. Along the far wall, facing out towards the view, large windows were standing from floor to ceiling, with a sliding glass door to the side, letting out to the patio in the back.
Erik made his way through the room, past a set of couches facing each other and dodging one of the larger planted palm trees that inhabited the corner of the living space and on his way, he picked up a sleek tablet laying on one of the coffee tables. Walking outside he felt the warmth of the sun against his exposed chest and a gentle wind graze him. The back patio was a rectangular area of smooth stone slabs that let out into the green yard in the back. In the middle, there was a smaller pool as the centre piece of the outdoor area.
It wasn't big enough to swim any laps in, but it was perfect for cooling down in the afternoon heat or for drinks at night. To the side of it stood two wider sun beds. They stood on solid, wooden frames that added to the different natural materials that mixed in with the sleek stone and otherwise minimalist style of the building. They both faced east, giving them morning sun, and making them perfect for sunbathing during the day. Each sun bed had a smaller table to the side of it and cylindrical pillows for resting your neck.
Erik had fallen asleep in the sun on those beds more times than he would admit, they were dangerously comfortable. To the other side of the pool stood a few armchairs around a sturdy looking coffee table. These all had matching wooden frames, like the sun beds, and made up an outside lounge area. This area had a pergola built out of the side of the house with lush green vines growing across it, giving the lounge some protection from the worst of the sun. Erik placed the tablet down on the table in front of him before taking a seat.
He always enjoyed this moment of his morning, watching out over the city down below him and listening to the distant waves of the ocean through the crescent bay. In that space Erik felt like time stood still around him, like he was watching the rest of the world pass by below him as he looked out from his vantage point with a cold, spinach, and blueberry smoothie in his hand.
It had been just short of an hour before Erik heard the door to the house open and shut. He looked away from the news that he was absent-mindedly scrolling through on the tablet in his lap and he could hear Julie coming back from her run. He could hear her kick her shoes off and then her soft steps walking towards the kitchen. There was a pause, a moment of hesitation and inactivity before Erik heard the heavy fridge door open and then close, she had found the smoothie. He smiled and returned to what he was doing.
He knew that while Julie preferred to run on a somewhat empty stomach, she always needed something to eat after exhausting herself on her run, to replenish her energy. While scrolling past updates on some investments he had made a few weeks past, he could hear his wife walk upstairs and towards the showers. Erik lost himself in some of the numbers again, he had been hoping to see some better developments, but things hadn't gone the way he wanted.
At first, just the week after making an investment in a smaller firm claiming to revolutionise solar energy receptors, rumours had been spread that the prototype the company said they had was much further behind in development than they had first led on. The stock price had immediately plummeted, and Erik had almost been on the same lifeboat, but decided against selling at a loss. This somewhat stubborn and by all accounts bad decision had luckily played out in his favour though.
In the days following, the younger tech CEO had gone out and shown some very smart people some very clever things and by all accounts, the claims of fraud were shown to be the actual lies, the result of a disgruntled engineer leaking false information. However, the market doesn't forget, and the stock price had only been inching upwards slowly since then. At this point, he would be making even, and he had been tossing and turning the decision over. Suddenly he heard the sliding door behind him slide open and he returned to the world of the living.
Looking up from the screen in front of him, all thoughts of numbers and financials were violently shoved to the side as Julie walked past him, stroking his shoulder affectionately as she headed over towards the sun beds. She was wearing a black, two-piece swimsuit, way more revealing than what he knew her to usually wear if they would be in public. She spun around as she walked, catching his eyes, and giving a playful wink before she slowly and seductively took the last few steps towards the day bed.
The bikini was strung up by tied up string, the bottoms connecting at the hips and the small triangle top at the neck and back. The bottoms sat high over her hip bones and snugly between her ass cheeks. Each step of her long, strong legs the little ribbons bounced and swayed with the sway of her hips. In her pirouette towards him he watched her full, bouncy breasts struggle against the small triangle. Her breasts were held up tightly by the bikini top and the soft, rounded flesh almost spilled out to the sides of the bra.
