As the five friends arrived at the front door of Nanigan Hall, the infamous all-women's dorm on campus, they were giddy with anticipation of the evening's events. It was the evening of the annual holiday Snow Ball hosted by the She-Nanigans, the women of Nanigan Hall, who were famous on campus for their creative and bawdy parties and events. This was the tenth annual Snow Ball, and the rumor was that several new games and activities were planned to outdo any of the prior parties.
Karina had been to last year's holiday event and eagerly invited her boyfriend Lance and his teammate and best friend Brendan to attend. Both men played on the university's soccer team and had recently completed a successful season of competition. They needed a chance to let loose and celebrate; the Snow Ball was going to be that occasion. It didn't hurt that Karina knew the games and entertainment at Nanigan Hall's parties often involved getting the participants naked. She had seen Lance naked many times and agreed that his name was appropriate, but she had always wanted to see more of Brendan, whom she had heard was even better endowed than her boyfriend.
The three were accompanied by Karina's best friend Terri and Terri's roommate, Kim. Terri and Kim were both single at the moment, but Karina had been plotting to hook one of them up with Brendan. Tonight might just be that chance. Both young women were beautiful: Terri was tall, slim and athletic while Kim was shorter but curvy in places that would certainly attract Brendan's eye.
As the most familiar of the five guests, Karina rang the bell and introduced the four friends to the stunning girl who answered the door. She pointed to a side room where everyone had clearly been piling their winter coats and then took them to a table in the foyer where there were two glass fishbowls. One bowl had folded pink papers within it and a stack of other pink papers in front of it. The other bowl was similarly prepared, but with blue papers. Karina, Terri and Kim were asked to write their names on the pink papers, fold them once and place them in the corresponding fishbowl. Lance and Brendan were asked to do the same with the blue papers and bowl.
She then directed them down the stairs to the large open social room in the basement. The five friends descended the stairs to find a party already in full swing. Loud music was playing, guests were dancing, a few couches and sitting areas around the outside of the room had people talking, laughing or making out. And the night was still young. It was anyone's guess how those couches might be used as the evening progressed.
The room had been decorated with paper snowflakes and piles of foam or cotton "snowballs" to fit the theme. Pale blue and white colors were everywhere, which gave a wintery look to the downstairs room. Betraying that wintery, snowy look was the fact that the room was already getting warm with all the bodies continuing to fill it. But none of those bodies were concerned with the temperature. They were all busy enjoying the music, the company and the drinks, anticipating the outrageous activities that were sure to follow.
Lance and Brendan offered to get drinks for the five of them from the bar across the room and set off. They crossed the room, noting the decorations, the young people who were connecting everywhere, and the general feeling of excitement. The center of the room contained two rows of three columns each, with most of the activity taking place outside the center section outlined by the columns. This made it easy to pass through the middle of the room to retrieve drinks for the girls. The "bar" area was more like a table with a selection of beer, hard seltzers and a punch which was certainly spiked. There was also a cooler with bottles of water, which might come in handy later as the room got warmer. They retrieved a few assorted drinks and headed back through the center of the room to bring drinks to Karina, Terri and Kim. Brendan couldn't help but notice that Terri and Kim were very quick to show their appreciation for the drinks, almost competing for his attention. He wasn't complaining; both were beautiful, each in her own way, and he would be lucky to get to know either better before the evening was over.
After about 30 minutes of drinking, dancing and meeting some of the other guests, the social chair at Nanigan Hall, a beautiful girl named Eve, got up and addressed the room.
"Welcome, everyone, to our tenth annual Snow Ball. We're glad to have so many of you here and are excited to share with you the various games we have planned for the evening. We're sure you'll find them stimulating."
