Her face was slightly red as she scanned the empty corridor. "I have something I wanna show you."
"In there?" He looked at the door to the supply closet.
Her cheeks reddened further. "M-hm."
In the year he'd known her, his awkward colleague had gone from a chubby plain-faced girl that he'd discarded as not his type, to absolutely adorable.
"Something I've been wanting to show you for a long time, actually". A mischievous smile flashed in her still reddening face.
Not that he had been sure he was really attracted to thin girls either, or indeed anybody. People were just a hassle and a mystery to him. Present company excepted, of course.
Perhaps they had had this in common and that was what had sparked the connection.
She pushed the door open an he followed her into the cramped space. Boxes of stationery stacked capriciously on shelves covering every inch of wall.
"Could you please close the door?"
The room faded to darkness as he backed up, pushing the door closed.
Eyes unused to the darkness, he could only make out her silhouette as she approached him, taking his hands into hers, placing them around her own neck.
