The full moon was high in the crisp September night when I decided to go for a walk. I don't usually walk at night, but it was such a beautiful night I thought I would throw caution to the wind and go for it. Am I glad I did.
When I left the house, I decided that my t-shirt, jeans and sneakers would be enough. I didn't think it would get chilly in the short time that I planned on being out. Just a brisk walk. Good exercise and a way to look at the world through different eyes, so to speak.
I decided to go down the path that ran alongside the woods behind my house. Walking quickly, yet trying to take my time so I didn't miss anything, I walked around the house and through the field to the woods. When I got to the path, I decided to slow things down a little. Taking my time, I started down the path. The first thing that happened was that I heard what I thought were wings. I stopped and searched the sky. Nothing. So, I took a few more steps and heard the noise again. This time when I stopped, I looked toward the trees where I thought the noise was coming from. Then I saw it. Up in the branches of a tall oak tree, a horned owl with his catch. We sat there staring at each other for a few moments before the owl talked to me. "Who, who."
"My name is Lisa," I said with a chuckle. I just shook my head and turned to continue down the path.
"Well, Lisa. It's nice to meet you. My name is Troy."
I let out a little squeal and must've jumped a mile high. And then, although I think I nearly fainted, I gathered my composure quickly.
"Well, Troy. Do you make it a habit of sneaking up on unsuspecting women?"
"Only when they are on a nature walk in the middle of the night all by themselves." he replied with just an undertone of sarcasm in his voice.
I arched an eyebrow and said, "Oh really? And how do you know I was on a nature walk and what makes you think I am by myself? Maybe someone is with me just down the trail."
It was his turn to arch an eyebrow at me. "I know better because I have been watching you since you left your house."
"Ahhhhh. Now I get it. A stalker."
"Not really. You see, I live just through the woods and was walking myself when I came through the woods here on this side and saw you leave your house. I saw you were alone and thought I would follow you to keep you safe," he said with a mischievous smile on his face.
"The woods aren't dangerous around here. I mean, Mr. Owl there wouldn't have lit on that branch if there were danger around here. I mean, he IS the danger."
"Ah, but that is where you are wrong my pet," he said as he stepped closer. He came close enough that he could lean and whisper in my ear. "There are eyes everywhere, mon cherie."
Troy backed away just enough so that he could see the look of surprise on my face. "Your eyes? Or do you have spies in the woods?"
"Just my eyes."
My breathing and my pulse quickened at his closeness. I noticed his eyes roam to my heaving bosom and felt myself flush.
"I am a big girl and can take care of myself. Besides, I am still on my side of the woods and this is my path."
"And this," he said as he reached out to touch me, "Is my path." as his hand trailed from my lips, down my neck, between my breasts, down my stomach and stopped at the bottom of the zipper on my jeans.
I couldn't believe the audacity. But I couldn't move from his touch either. It was like I was frozen in place just so he could touch me. "I don't believe I belong to you," I said breathlessly.
"Not yet, my pet, but you will." And with that, he cupped my cheek in his hand and pulled me to him. His hand slid to the back of my head and he wrapped his fingers in my hair and gave a gentle tug until our lips met.
Such heat. Such passion. His tongue slid inside my mouth right away, his lips bruising mine with the deepening of the kiss. He was holding nothing back as he reached with his other hand to start kneading my breast and squeezing my nipple. I let out a little "oh" into his mouth. He took that as a good thing and yanked my body so that it was snug against his. I could feel how hard he was growing and that sent my head reeling. The kiss, the touching, the hard line of his body was almost too much. I thought I might pass out but Troy held me firm.
Finally, he broke the kiss leaving both of us breathless. There was lust in his eyes as he looked at me. "Do you still believe there is no danger in the night, my pet?" he asked me with the passion making his voice even deeper than it was.
"I told you, I am not your pet and no. I am not scared of you."
"Perhaps you should be my pet. I intend to have my way with you here and now," he said as he backed me against a tree.
