"Oh, just great" sighed Angela as she noticed her car in the parking lot. A flat tire. Could this day get any worse? The petite blonde's shoulders slumped, and she struggled not to cry at the latest crisis in her life.
Angela was 21 years old, taking double major in Drama and Design at the local college, something that never failed to make her male classmates giggle. A Double D taking a Double D. She wanted to be taken seriously as an actress and eventual producer, but every director she'd ever met suggested an up close and personal audition on his casting couch.
"Well, now what am I going to do?" she wondered out loud, looking around, for what, a random tow truck and mechanic? There was no way she was going to change a tire, even if she'd had the first clue where to start. Slipping her cell phone out of her purse, she considered calling her dad for help.
"He'll just tell me to handle it" she groaned. Angela's father had given her a long lecture on independence and not relying on a man for everything during her last visit home. You'd think it would be her mother giving that speech, but truthfully, her mother would have been just as helpless in this situation as Angela.
"Damn it! Damn it! Damn it!" she cried, aiming a swift kick at the flat tire. And all she got was a major pain in her foot and a scuff on the toe of her very pretty 3" black heel. "Why do these things always happen to me?"
Across the parking lot, the sounds of her frustration and pain drifted to a man just getting into his Dodge pickup truck. Never one to shy away from a lady in distress, his mother had taught him better than that, William closed the truck door and walked towards Angela.
It was the gorgeous blonde from his math class in freshman year. She was just shy of 5'1 and her curves had kept him awake plenty of nights. He'd never been able to get up the nerve to talk to her. At 6'3, too thin, a little acne and teeth just out of braces, he didn't think she would have given him the time of day. She was always surrounded by the beautiful people on campus.
Now, after a couple of semesters in the gym, he knew he didn't look anything like that baby-faced geek, but he still lacked confidence in himself. "But a lady in distress" his mind reminded him "and you can't leave her here".
"Excuse me, ma'am," he said in his best gentlemanly manners "Can I help you with something?"
"What? Oh, um, I've got a flat tire" Angela was a little spooked. Where had this giant come from? It was just starting to get dark out and she definitely did not recognize him.
"Well, I happen to have some tools in my truck, if you want me to take a look." William offered, realizing she was scared. He backed up a step, trying to put her at ease.
"Oh my gosh, would you?" she breathed a sigh of relief. "I didn't know what I was going to do. I've had the worst day, you know? And I don't know anything about tires." She smiled up at him and he could have sworn she batted her eyelashes. She was flirting with him! Maybe his day was looking up.
William headed back to his truck for tires and Angela started calculating how much money she had left in her checking account. Not enough for a new tire that was for sure. Heck, she didn't even have enough money to buy him a beer after. If only she had gotten that new role!
William started examining her tire and whistled. "Shoot. Ma'am, this tire has been slashed. We're going to need a new tire. Maybe a tow truck, if I can't get this one off. Look, the passenger tire is wrecked too. Someone sure doesn't like you."
"No!" she wailed, tears starting to fall down her cheeks. This was her worst nightmare. Now she was definitely going to have to call her dad.
"Well, now, don't start crying. It's just a tire. Nothing a couple hundred bucks won't fix."
"You don't understand, I don't have ten bucks. I was counting on getting a job today and when I wouldn't sleep with the director, he tossed me out of the audition and told me I'd never make it as an actress. My whole life is a mess!" the tears kept flowing and she just knew it was making a mess of her mascara.
"Hey, hey, don't cry honey. We'll figure it out. You've got family or a friend that could come pick you up?"
"I mean, I guess" she sniffed. "I'm just too embarrassed to face anyone and most of my friends ride the bus. I guess I could catch the next one?" she wondered, staring into his eyes, hoping he'd offer her a ride.
"At this hour, with the drug addicts? Absolutely not. Tell you what, let me introduce myself. I'm William. My mother tells me I'm a good guy and totally clueless about girls, so I'm no danger to you. Why don't I just take you home?"
Angela laughed; William looked anything but clueless about women. He looked like a man who could do a lot with hands that size. "I'm Angela," she said, holding out her hand "and I accept your offer."
William reached for her hand and felt a spark of desire pass between them. In that moment, he knew he had to have her. This woman was going to be his. She just didn't know it yet.
He guided her to his truck and realized she'd need a boost to get in. Her black mini dress was so tight around her hips that she couldn't easily get her leg up on the running board. He tried so hard not to think about the wonders between her thighs. Soft, warm and wet, he'd been dreaming about plunging deep into a woman, hearing her scream his name and begging him for her release.
His hand lingered on her tight ass for a fraction too long and he felt her stiffen, just a little. He tried to play it off and said "Are you comfortable there?" as if he hadn't been copping a feel like a teenage boy.
Angela felt the heat of his hands on her. Slightly calloused and so big. She imagined them stroking other parts of her and tried to ignore the obvious attraction between them. This was just a ride home, she reminded herself, a good deed. She didn't owe him sex in exchange for a ride, he was being a gentleman.
As William rounded the truck, he tried to convince "Little Will" to sit back down and ignore the vixen in the passenger seat. At least get her home, convince her he was a nice guy. Maybe she'd agree to a date. Maybe, the voice in his head protested, you should take her to your place and claim her now.
William drove out of the parking lot and asked "So, my lady, where shall we take you?"
"I should have told you, I live about an hour from here, south of the city. It's a long drive. Are you sure you don't mind?"
