I'd gotten off early from work that day and I didn't want to go home just yet so I thought I'd visit William at his work for a bit. It had been a while since we met, almost a couple of weeks and my work had been really consuming for us to have a decent conversation over phone. I took the subway to his university, looking out the window. It was relatively warm today for a November afternoon outside but really windy. After deboarding, I looked around for the math department. Unsuccessfully, might I add.
Finally, I gave in to ask one of the students on campus if they knew where I could find it. They pointed me to the direction of an old building with open corridors. I walked past a group of students, clutching my coat tighter against my waist as a gust of cold wind blew. I gingerly made my way through the open corridors, peeping into classrooms along the way hoping to catch William in action. I saw him in front of a huge notice board, reading something on his iPad. I decided to watch him for a few seconds, he was so lost in whatever he was doing, he barely noticed me standing mere feet away. He looked so handsome with his black rimmed glasses and his dark hair ruffled from the wind. He was dressed in a brown tweed coat and black slacks, his face scrunched in concentration.
"Hey," I said, inching closer.
He looked up and stared at me for a few seconds.
"Hey..." He said carefully, like he couldn't believe what he saw.
"I got off of work early today so I thought we could maybe go for lunch together?"
He looked at me for a few seconds again.
"You thought well," he finally said.
"Can we please go to your office if that's okay? I'm getting cold," I said, pulling my scarf tighter.
"Yes, of course! I'm sorry," he blinked a couple of time as if finally awake. "Come with me," he grabbed me by the waist and we made our way deeper into the building, away from the open corridors.
William unlocked his office, his name on the door -- Prof William Greenfield. He opened the door and ushered me in. He closed the door behind him once inside and asked me if he could take my coat. I nodded and he helped me out of my coat, hung it over the door and then took his off too. I watched him as he evened out our coats carefully and removed my scarf, perching myself on his desk.
Once done, he looked at me and I smiled nervously. I don't know what it was about being in his tiny one room-office that made me wonder if showing up unannounced was a good idea after all.
"I'm glad you're here," he said, his eyes darkening.
"Thanks," I said in a little voice, my mouth going dry. This suddenly seemed like a dangerous idea.
William made his way to me at his desk from the door in two quick strides and kissed me deeply, his hand on my waist. My hands went behind his neck of their own accord, my legs starting to go limp. His other hand gently brushed my bare arm while I tried to maximize the contact between us.
His hands quickly began to explore my body while mine clutched his shoulders tighter. He firmly cupped my breast with one hand while rubbing my bare shoulder with the other. An involuntary moan escaped my lips as he pushed me further onto the edge of his desk, forcing my legs to open wider with his knee. My hands fell to his chest.
