The remaining days flew by, but Lip's mind was preoccupied with Felicia almost exclusively. She had her hooks in him, that much was true. He thought about the first time he laid eyes on her, their first kiss, and how perfect her naked body looked dripping with rain. Her every movement was seared into his memory. Pressing her body into his, resting her arms on his shoulders, the movement of her lips both tangled with his and wrapped around his manhood, every detail wholly and completely etched into his memory.
He only had a few days left of his time there, but he wanted Felicia just one more time. He would happily go back to his life pre...all of this if he could just feel her one last time.
"Hey, after this would you mind if I got a massage?" Kell asked from across the table.
"Hm?" Lip caught himself daydreaming and missed the question entirely. "Sorry, I was chewing. What did you say?"
"I just asked if you minded if I went and got a massage after this? I just checked and they have a few openings at the spa."
"Oh, yeah of course. Wait, is it like a package or something?"
Kell chuckled. "Yeah, kind of. It's some kind of bath first, then a full body massage and then something else. But I think it's like 2-3 hours."
"Yeah, that's cool."
Kell smiled. "Really? What are you going to do without me for 3 whole hours?" she asked in a sarcastic tone.
"I can't be sure, but I bet I could find something to do at a resort on a tropical island."
Kell laughed. "Just don't go swimming with your clothes on like you did last night."
"Hey, I told you I had a few too many at the bar and a bunch of people double dog dared me to do that. And you can't back down from a double dog dare."
"No," she shot back, "YOU can't back down from that. I'm gonna go get ready and head to the spa. I'll catch you later. Love you!" She gave him a kiss goodbye and stood from the table, walking in a hurried fashion back to the room. Lip took a long sip from his mimosa before walking to the nearly empty bar and sitting down. He played with the stem of his glass, drawing tight circles with it and causing the remaining fluid inside to swirl around in an oddly satisfying pattern.
"One more?" Lip looked up to see a friendly face smiling back at him.
"Jesus...do you sleep back there or something?" Lip said, leaning over the bar. "Please tell me you have a home that you go to once a fiscal year."
She smiled. "I do, but I pick up a lot of extra hours during the week. It's good money, and sometimes the guests tip half as well as you do. One more?"
Lip nodded, sliding his glass to her. He glanced around the bar, trying to look for a familiar face without being too obvious about it. But clearly he failed.
"Haven't seen her this morning," the bartender said. "I assume that's who you're looking for." She gave him a knowing smile while sliding his refilled drink towards him. Lip raised his eyebrows, searching for something to say and failing spectacularly. "It's none of my business, I know. I've kept more than my share of secrets working here."
"Oh really?" She nodded. "That's...well, under the circumstances that's good to know."
She shrugged. "Need some help?"
