TITLE: Last Days of School
PLOT: New teacher gets seduced and used by their 19 year old student.
--------------------
The students of Lana Reshton's senior class took their seats as the bell rang signaling the start of the period. Although the school year was almost over some of the students were still attentive taking out their books and notes and placing them on the desks while others sat in their chairs with no cares in the world. Lana organized her desk for a moment as the rest of the students trickled in. She ran a hand through her short brown hair before addressing the class.
"Okay class lets start by discussing the reading from over the weekend. Did everyone remember to do the reading assignment?" Lana said looking at the students of her class seeing the dull bored expressions across all their faces.
Lana Reshton was a pretty new teacher to the school with this being only her second year teaching and her first in a High School environment. She had been originally teaching younger kids but wanted to give the older kids a try and see which she preferred better. The school year was almost over and her class was filled with nothing but 18 and 19 year old seniors that were pretty much already graduated and done with school just waiting for the days to end.
"Did anyone do the readings?" Lana asked not seeing anyone raising their hands to discuss the chapter. "How about you - Henry." Lana said pointing to one of the boys in the back of the room.
"I didnt get a chance to do the reading this weekend i was out of town looking at universities." Henry answered.
"Oh- and how about you Wallace?" she asked pointing to the 19 year old Wallace Hawthorns who had been a bit of a layback yet also cynical and confrontational student this past year.
"Why does it really matter? We are all done here - we dont need to do any of this work its a waste." Wallace explained with a smirk.
Lana should have known better then to call on Wallace. He had been a pain in her backside all year and today wasnt going to be any different.
"Mr. Hawthorns this is an important part of your education. Everyone needs to understand literature. Lana explained to him.
"Well Ms. Reshton - no offence but clearly the school doesnt think so since none of this will alter our grades or risk us not getting into our next schools. This seems like a big of a waste." Wallace stated his point of view.
"Wallace - stay back after class." Lana said before picking on the long brown-haired Maggie who in tur bookworm and kiss up fashion had read the chapters and had a deep opinion on the story.
The rest of the class time went by and the bell rand followed by the students. Wallace stayed behind and waited until he was alone with his teacher as instructed.
"Okay Wallace - you have been a bit of a pain all year. Why is that?" Lana asked her student just after the classroom door closed leaving them alone.
"I just like being a trouble maker" Wallace said with a chuckle.
"Ive talked to other teachers - you dont seem to bother them as much as my class." Lana responded.
"Well what can i say - You are just more fun Ms. Reshton." Wallace replied with a chuckle from his seated position at his desk.
"What is that supposed to mean Mr. Hawthorns? You dont give any of the other teachers this much grief. So why do you have to be such a back pain for me?" Lana retorted her face scrunching up a little in frustration.
"Do you want the real answer Ms. Reshton?" Wallace asked raising an eyebrow and grinning as he looked at Lana brushing his messy blonde hair away from his blue piercing eyes.
"Yes" Lana replied sternly and a bit excited that she may be having a breakthrough with her most troublesome student.
Wallace stood up from his seat. At the height of 5'11 he was a decently tall kid - taller than Lana for sure who was only 5'4 or maybe 5'5 on a good day. Lana looked at the young man from head to toe as he stepped closer to her desk. He was wearing a baseball style shirt that wasnt for a real baseball team that she had ever heard of and shorts with his baseball cap with the school team logo on it. Wallace stopped standing right in front of Lana's desk placing his hands on the table and leaning in to her face to face.
"I like teasing you. I like the way that face of yours looks when your uncomfortable." Wallace said plainly.
"I - what?" Lana responded a bit shocked and confused at how direct her student had just gotten and how he stood over her as she sat in her chair at the desk across from him.
"Well I need to go to my next class now Lana. So if you want to keep talking I guess you will need to see my after school." Wallace said standing back up and grabbing is bag and hat before walking out of the room leaving his teacher stunned and very confused.
--------------------
"Afternoon class - everyone take your seats" Lana Reshton said as the bell once again rang and her students flooded into the room from the hallways and into their seats.
With only a short handful of days until the end of the school year more and more senior students were loosing interest in school work and just goofing around with friends. With this being the first year Lana had handled an older class and it being seniors she didnt quite know what to do. She had asked some of her fellow teachers what to do and the main answer was to just slack off with them since nothing really mattered on the final days. Some teachers were just showing movies in class or said their class was now a free study session. On top of all that for Lana to think about she was also still stuck on her interaction with her student Wallace from yesterday. He had always been a pain in her back but the way he confronted her yesterday and saying how he liked to tease her made her blush and feel confused - he may be a 19 year old young man but she was a teacher and he was her student.
"We will be going over chapter fourteen today - so everyone open up your books and lets discuss the actions that the characters made in last nights reading." Lana said.
