There is something about anticipation that can be a turn on of sorts. Whether it was the endless research we did about Costa Rica or the packing, we were excited about the trip. All in all, it was a good trip. We were really careful with keeping our valuables safe. We were even more careful about staying in the hotel at certain times when we could have been bigger targets. All in all, it was a good trip.
One of my favorite things about the trip was seeing my neighbor in her new swimsuits. I loved seeing her toned body scarcely covered by the fabric as we were on the beach. I wasn't sure who needed the trip more by the time we were on the plane back to the States. She was extremely relaxed. Being with her made me feel appreciated, but also at peace more. As we were flying home, I started to revaluate things in my life to figure out things.
Once the taxi dropped us off, I went with her to her place where I helped bring in her luggage. I brought my luggage up as well and brought it in albeit temporarily. She looked at me funny before she smiled.
"I guess that makes sense, doesn't it?" she said.
"Well, I'm just used to knowing where my stuff is. Are you alright?"
'I am. I needed that badly. I'm sorry I was against it at first. It's just..."
Before she could say a word, my arms opened, and she fell into my embrace. It was nice to know some things didn't change too much over the vacation. I held her there for a bit before she looked at me.
"You were doing a ton of thinking on the plane, Leo."
"I was. I don't know. It's just I never imagined having you with me as much as I do. You're really something, Beloved. Mitchell was a lucky man. I'm even luckier because I have you now."
