With the morning almost gone now Jane suggests they make a start on holiday planning which everyone agrees to. They negotiate check in, and baggage then go through security with an hour to spare before boarding so they start the holiday with a drink at one of the airport bars. At the destination airport they all get into a taxi to the resort. Having settled in their apartment Sam and Lucy explore the complex checking out the swimming pool and other facilities while Mike, Jane and Rebecca unpack and then have a rest before getting ready to go out for the evening.

The girls look around but decide to do it as the others have. They spend about an hour there before Jane suggests that they should now come off the beach as the sun is getting stronger and they don't want to burn. They all agree and go back to the apartment.
