Alistar sighed as he piled his clothes into a basket. He had been on Gragas for 2 weeks now and he had finally run out of clean clothes. He could no longer avoid doing his laundry. Back on Earth, technology had advanced beyond the need for manual labor. The Aurelians, however, were still washing their clothes by hand in the nearby spring.
Alistar gathered the washboard and soap Azir had given him and headed toward the water. It took him some time to figure out how to wash his clothes, but hours later he had finally finished. Alistar laid his clothes out to dry on some rocks and figured he should bathe while he was here. He stripped out of his clothes and waded waist-deep into the clear spring. He lathered his hair with soap then plunged into the water to rinse. As he rose back out of the water, he noticed someone approaching.
Alistar flushed with embarrassment at his exposure as he recognized Xayah. She was carrying a bow and arrow. She had just returned from hunting and her clothes were filthy.
"Good morning, Dr. Brand," Xayah said with a smile.
"Please, call me Alistar, your... Highness?" Alistar said, unsure of how to address the chieftainess.
"You can just call me Xayah," she said with a laugh. "We Aurelians do not believe in subservience. Rakan and I are equal to anyone else in the tribe. That is why I am here to wash my own clothes."
Before Alistar could respond, Xayah removed her top in one swift motion. Alistar watched in stunned silence as she proceeded to remove her skirt and step into the water.
"I am sorry we haven't had a chance to properly talk. I have been so busy with the Moon Festival and preparations for the Unity Ceremony. How have you found everything so far?" Xayah asked as she knelt and washed her clothes in the shallow water of the spring, her breasts swaying beneath her.
Alistar glanced between her face and her body as she worked. "Your people have been very welcoming. Although the customs take some getting used to."
"Ah yes, from what I understand of Earth culture, the Moon Festival can come as quite a shock. We have many rituals like it that promote connectedness between all members of the tribe. You will see more at the Unity Ceremony."
Alistar's member twitched at the thought. Xayah finished washing her clothes and laid them out to dry. She then got back into the water and moved toward Alistar.
