Explorers Club Ch. 2: Dawn
**
Thanks to everyone who voted and commented on my first chapter, which was my submission to the 2024 Summer Lovin Contest. Thanks to all your support I'm continuing the story here. This chapter can be read on its own, but it's probably best to start with the first chapter if you haven't read it. Enjoy.

I sipped my drink as I watched the silhouettes of Professor Hale and Gracie twirl to the music playing from the bar. For the last hour or so, the two of them had claimed a small patch of dirt underneath the night sky as their dance floor. Midnight was approaching and our table was pretty far from the bar, so they were lit only by the moonlight as they danced.
After a long day of hiking, Hale had taken us all to a bar to end the night, simply called 'The Bar.' It was little more than an outdoor shack with a single bartender, a speaker playing music from the bartender's iPhone, and a few scattered tables. It was really just a hangout spot for locals, and only barely an actual business. But the real draw was the location. It was high up on the mountain with an incredible view, and behind Gracie and Hale, the night-black sea stretched out into the distance.
The other student in the Explorers Club with us, Frank, had found a couple of local girls he was entertaining at another table. I paid for most of their drinks so far- I owed Frank from yesterday- and after the third or fourth round, I decided we were even. But he was in his own world and only came by our table when he got new drinks for his new friends.
I was sitting by myself, and the dancing figures of Professor Hale and Gracie were more than enough entertainment for me. Maybe it was the rum, or the relaxing end to a day of hiking, but I felt at peace here. It was like we had settled into our own little private universe at the top of the world.
Professor Hale wore her customary travel/hiking look: sandals, hair up in a bun, skin-tight khaki short shorts, and today her blouse was a pale yellow. But something was different tonight, and she was letting herself loosen up. Hairs were escaping from her bun and flowing around her face. The top few buttons of her blouse were undone, letting her perky breasts push out proudly as she danced.
Gracie stumbled while dancing and Hale caught her, and they both dissolved in laughter. Hale was our designated driver, but Gracie was quite drunk by this point. I was buying her drinks all night as well, not because I owed her as I did Frank, but really because I did whatever she asked me to. Unfortunately for me, even this tiny bar took credit cards, so I couldn't really say no.
I had been crushing on Gracie for over a year, ever since first joining the Explorers Club. She had a fantastic body: curvy, with voluptuous hips, and a killer rack. She had a kind, sweet smile and bright green eyes that gave her that girl next door look, and her bright and bubbly personality meant that she was impossible to ignore. She was the instant crush of every guy who joined the club. Tonight she wore one of those grass skirts that as far as I could tell was a tourist thing, but Professor Hale, our resident Hawaiian, didn't seem to mind. I certainly wasn't going to complain. I kept getting glimpses of her soft thighs and her round ass through the strands, since all she wore underneath the skirt was a flower bikini.
I took another sip of my drink and could have stayed until dawn, or longer.
Professor Hale gave Gracie a quick kiss on the cheek and left the dance floor.
"Aw Jessica, come on, one more song!" Gracie whined, but Hale shook her head and collapsed into the chair next to me. She gave me a warm smile, and I returned one, weakly.
My breath always caught in my chest when Professor Hale sat next to me, but I was still on edge around her. I had the best sex of my life with her just the day before, but our little secret wasn't officially out in the open. The two of us hadn't really even had time to talk about it, or what it meant.
I think both Frank and Gracie suspected something. Frank kept pestering me about why Hale and I returned from the swimming hole two hours late, and insisted I should make him my 'confidant.' Gracie probably knew as well. She and Professor Hale had been close for years, and even though I had sex with Professor Hale I still didn't feel comfortable calling her 'Jessica' like Gracie does. The two of them spent much of the day today whispering and giggling like schoolgirls, especially if they thought Frank or I weren't around.
"Done with dancing?" I asked Professor Hale.
She nodded as she caught her breath. "Yeah, it's nearly midnight, and I'm used to being in bed hours ago. I'm an old lady."
I snorted and shook my head. "Come on, you're what..."
She shot me a wry grin. "Are you about to guess my age, Perkins?"
"Well, I was considering it. I suppose it depends on what your reaction would be if I guessed..." Her eyebrow raised. "thirty-nine?"
She chuckled. "Playing it safe, I see? Well, you aren't far off, but suffice to say I'm old enough that I just can't stay up until 3:00 in the morning like I used to."
"Well I'm glad you're pushing yourself," I said.
"Hah, well me too, actually. This year I wanted to show you all somewhere special, even if it keeps me up longer than I'd like."
"Well at least we don't have anywhere we have to be early tomorrow, right?" I asked.
"Tomorrow is Gracie's birthday, so we're on her schedule," Professor Hale said, grinning.
"Yeah, she's been talking about that all day, what is the birthday schedule exactly?" I asked.
"I promised Gracie a spa day, but other than that, you'll have to wait and see," she said. "But regardless, I like to be up at dawn if I can. Missing the sunrise over our beach is almost criminal. Did you catch it this morning?"
Frank and I were sleeping in small wicker bungalows, basically little huts out on Hale's beach. Gracie slept in Hale's second bedroom in the main house.
I thought for a moment. "I don't think I've ever seen an actual real-life sunrise in my life."
She turned to me, giving me her full attention. "Really?"
Her wide, almond eyes examined me curiously behind her black framed glasses.
I shrugged. "If I've seen one, I don't remember."
"I'm waking you up at 5:45am tomorrow morning. Which is..." she looked at her watch. "In about six hours."
"You can try, but you might have to drag me. I don't think my limbs are capable of movement before 8:00am at the earliest," I replied.
Her eyes flitted sideways to me. "Bet I can get them to move," she said in a low whisper.
Her look was like a jolt of electricity that caused my dick to shift under my shorts. Her hand slid onto my thigh, under the table, and her fingers played along the edge of my shorts as I took a drink.
When her hand found the bulge of my cock under the table, I sighed and slumped back, to give her a better angle. She rubbed the length of it for a few moments, until I was nearly fully hard under her touch. Then she chuckled and removed her hand to take a sip from her sparkling water. She nestled back into her chair and sighed, as if she would go to sleep right there.
"Are you going to leave me like this for the rest of the night?" I groaned.
"Like what?" she said, grinning.
"Desperate," I admitted.
Hale turned, as Gracie arrived. Gracie's hands slammed on the table.
"What's this?" Gracie asked.
Considering how horny Professor Hale had just made me, it took every ounce of my willpower to not stare directly into Gracie's magnificent cleavage which was jiggling under that bikini top as she leaned over the table. That bikini was woefully inadequate to support a rack like that. I frankly had no idea how she danced so long in it, it must be some kind of skill.
"Well?" she asked, glaring at me.
I looked around, to Hale's curious expression, to the empty tables around us, and down to my half-finished drink. "It's... I believe it's called a cayperina?"
"Caipirinha," Professor Hale said, correcting my pronunciation. "It's Brazilian."
"Well it's fucking good," I said, "however you say it. Gracie do you want a sip-"
"I'm not talking about your goddamn drink," Gracie said as she swiped my drink, drained it, and slammed the empty glass back on the table. The ice jingled and she brushed her long hair out of her face.
"No, I mean why aren't you
dancing
, Perkins? You've been sitting here all night like a lump! Now you're going to leave me out there
